I stayed at Marmaris Park Hotel in June for 16 days. And in my opinion, this hotel is a top-notch hotel. I will try to substantiate such a judgment. I know a little about the inner workings of hotel life and have traveled a lot for various purposes: leisure, work, visiting friends, relatives, etc. - so there is something to compare with. … More ▾ I stayed at Marmaris Park Hotel in June for 16 days. And in my opinion, this hotel is a top-notch hotel. I will try to substantiate such a judgment.
I know a little about the inner workings of hotel life and have traveled a lot for various purposes: leisure, work, visiting friends, relatives, etc. - so there is something to compare with.
What do we want to get when we travel and stop in different cities and countries - we want to get new sensations (sometimes extreme sports), new knowledge (on excursions or walking around cities and towns on our own, visiting museums, exhibitions and carnivals), new acquaintances, an opportunity relax, improve your health, peace of mind, security/safety and comfort, plus shopping. And all of this long list of pleasures is available when you stay at the Marmaris Park Hotel. And by the way, at quite reasonable prices when compared with other hotels in the region. So the price / quality ratio here is at a high level.
Quality is ensured primarily by the staff. From his work, from his benevolence and care depends on how good the memories of the days spent will be.
Now specifically.
A three-storey house, located in the first line right by the sea, with 24 rooms, in one of which I lived, was served by a wonderful maid Sultan (Sultan), who, in addition to professional skills, also has human qualities of attention and care - I would like to visit the hotel again get back to her.
The staff at the 24-hour reception are friendly and competent. Guests are assisted with finding a specific room and carrying things, as residential buildings are scattered over a large area, located on the slope of a mountain falling to the sea; and always even at night through the reception you can quickly call a taxi.
Of those working at the reception, within the limits of my communication, I would note Irina from Belarus, who is always sincerely ready to help, share information, suggest the best actions to achieve the guest's goals.
The cuisine at the hotel is at a high level, the choice of dishes is large - I have the right to judge, because I ate here for 16 days, and neither I nor my new and different acquaintances had a single complaint. To the chef and head pastry chef and their teams, absolute respect for delicious and healthy food. Alcohol is also of high quality and with moderate consumption is absolutely without consequences. It should be noted the democratic style of service in the all-inclusive restaurant, here is a buffet system without attaching a guest to a table or one waiter to a group of tables - here the waiters work as a common team, helping each other and serving everyone at once within sight. For those who like a more prim style, keep that in mind.
From the work of waiters, I would single out two friends: Ismet and Deniz. Especially Ismet, the guy just has a talent for working as a waiter: he is friendly and friendly and does his job with sincere pleasure, which, of course, pleases the guest.
I also want to say that the hotel, of course, was lucky with the manager. In addition to his professional qualities, which allow him to quickly manage the complex organism of a large hotel, he is also a good sympathetic person. It was he who personally quickly and easily eliminated the unpleasant problem that arose in my room late in the evening.
I will go here for the second time in September - I took my vouchers through the tour operator Anex Tour. Therefore, I will say a few kind words to its employees.
First of all, this is Tatiana, as I understand it, the main representative of Anex in the hotel or even in Marmaris on all issues. She has not only high competence and responsibility, but also kindness, attention and care towards guests.
It was thanks to her that I bought good gifts for my daughter in Marmaris and visited Greek Rhodes.
I would also like to mention the tour guide-translator Leah (almost Princess Leia from Star Wars), with whom I was lucky to be on a couple of excursions, including Pamukkale, where we flew in a hot air balloon at dawn. Leah's positive attitude and friendliness created a unique light travel atmosphere.
I will write a couple of suggestions about the restrictions for choosing Marmaris Park Hotel as a place of rest related to its location. The hotel is located on a mountainside and moving around the territory involves a lot of steps, so people with certain physical limitations should consider whether to choose this hotel.
The second limitation is due to the fact that the entrance to the sea is carried out immediately to a depth of about 1 meter from a concrete pier, so lovers of sandy or pebble beaches should also think about this.
And, finally, about the shortcomings that were in June and, in my opinion, are completely eliminated.
Unlike children's, adult animation is weak, although the hotel has a wonderful amphitheater for it. But the weak work of the disc jockey was especially sad: with the excellent infrastructure of the large dance floor and the corresponding bar located near the outdoor pool, the music, unfortunately, was not the most danceable. As a result, the evening dances were not very good.
And also - but this is already my personal desire - it would be nice to make the ceiling in the indoor pool beautiful, in which it is so good to swim after the nearby sauna and steam room. So that near the indoor pool you want to relax and meditate longer.
This will be especially true in the period from November to April,

Were in the Aegean Islands and Dalyan, prices are half the price of individual guides, the service is excellent!
I liked the rest in general!

The hotel is old, we had room 116 and the air conditioner did not work well, the refrigerator did not work at all. And it's not just in our room. The food is monotonous, only fruits: Watermelons, apples, plums. Food for 3-4 days is boring all, as it is very scarce! When leaving, I realized that the stingy hotel is aimed only at the benefits received from the guests, and not their comfortable stay. There are a lot of locals in the hotel, "ultra all inclusive" does not mean foreign alcohol, only their local, there are no cocktails, only for a fee! It is impossible to drink anything from strong alcohol (whiskey, vodka, rum), only good beer. The wine looks like powder, but I won’t say it, try it yourself. The best thing about this hotel is the pontoon and the greenery around the hotel.

There are some changes in the diet compared to what it used to be. The COVID-19 period has made its own adjustments. There is no "children's table" and "diet food table". Significantly "cut" the number of dishes. But it should be noted. that every day there were a couple of kinds of meat and one kind of fish. Dishes were not repeated. Every day is different: if yesterday there was grilled fish, today it is fish in sauce. the next day fish with vegetables. Same with meat dishes. There were grilled dishes. Lots of vegetable dishes (various vegetable stews) and various side dishes. Everything was delicious. Breakfast is very modest: different types of cheeses and eggs in various variations. Porridge, as before, was not cooked during this period ((From fruits every day there were watermelons, apples and plums. Melon was given once. Therefore, when we wanted peaches and cherries, we went to Migros. And we were stingy very cheap. 1 kg of peaches about 1 euro.
The hotel was completely full, but there were always enough sunbeds, although the beach strip is narrow. The sea is very warm and clean (there were about 40 degrees outside during this period).
There were no evening shows due to the coronavirus. From the animation - darts by the pool and some other couple of activities.
We enjoyed our stay despite some shortcomings. The beautiful green area, the sea and the air filled with the scent of pine needles compensated for everything.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, without any frills - this hotel is perfect.

A multi-kilometer embankment runs along the hotel - along it you can walk either to Icmeler, or in the other direction - to Marmaris (far away)... and we went to Icmeler every evening, breathed pine-sea air)... and we went to Marmaris by dolmush - stop right outside the hotel.
The hotel is recommended for families with children of school age. Older people and families with babies will have more inconvenience than pleasure. . .
The region is beautiful, I like it more than popular Kemer.
I fell in love with Marmaris so much that I also went to it in September... however, already to a city hotel).

Hammam (most authentic, even bowls and basins are clearly not factory), sauna, and most importantly massage. Vacationers praise many, but I want to say a special thank you to Senol. This is a real professional, in 5 sessions he managed to bring my sore shoulder back to normal. Each massage is an hour of perfect relaxation, and the prices are reasonable.

Six people drove into the hotel that day, everyone was in an unpleasant shock when checking in - poor lighting, furniture and room design leave much to be desired, on double beds there are two mattresses for single beds that constantly move apart and move out, small hard pillows. The bathroom has a built-in shower, small, not comfortable.
We arrived at night, at 11 o'clock, it's good that at this time you can still have a bite at the hotel after the road - 2 types of soups are served in the restaurant until midnight, so we didn't go to bed hungry. The pool bar is open until 1 am, so you can grab a cocktail before going to bed. On the second day, when we woke up and went down to breakfast, we immediately forgot about the not very comfortable room - the hotel area with its nature was simply enchanting. The hotel is located in a pine forest, near the sea, everything is beautiful and well maintained.
But they were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room. At first they left a tip, then they decided that there was nothing to do and stopped leaving.
Although the staff is nice and friendly, even the cleaning lady who didn't clean well. I liked the food, tasty and varied. There was not a bad children's animation, the adult was not impressed.
The beach is not convenient for those who have children or cannot swim - the pier and immediately the depth...
Places were both on the beach and near the pool always! There were not many people in the hotel! If you go down the spiral staircase to the beach, you will meet a table where an impudent mug sells a walk in the Mediterranean as the Aegean islands, promises fishing on this walk, which turned out to be not true!
They were not satisfied with the work of the hotel guides, they constantly asked where or where we were going or where we had disappeared. Everyone was worried that we would go somewhere not through them. And of course, we took excursions not from them, but from the local Icmeler agency.
I would like to write more about nature in Icmeler! She is amazing! It's worth it just for her sake!

We booked a standard with a mountain view, a room in a very beautiful place, there is a lot of greenery around. The nature here is amazing. The room is simple, no frills, but everything is clean and tidy.
In the reviews they wrote that the cleaning was weak, we were cleaned normally, but it could have been better.
Meals - breakfast is standard, there is everything from pancakes to omelettes. vegetables, fruits, yogurt, everything is there.
Lunch and dinner are also good, there is both meat and fish, a good variety of everything.
In the evenings, we walked along the promenade, walked to the center of Marmaris, rented bikes.
Excursions were taken at a meeting with the guide, we had Vadim. Our friends had previously rested here and advised us where to go, so we were a little prepared. We came to a meeting with the guide and listened to all the information, bought excursions from him, because he told everything honestly and truthfully, did not impose anything. For us it was a surprise.
Bought paragliding, pamukkale and cleopatra. We were satisfied with all the trips, the impressions of the sea and the pictures too. we will recommend.
