My friends and I decided to celebrate the year 2011 away from snowdrifts, frosts, tangerines and firs - we got tired of it. After reviewing the offers of travel agencies to visit hot countries, we decided to stop at an inexpensive and close Turkey. But I did not want to sit in the hotel on New Year's Eve. A solution was found - they bought a package from Onlytour, which included a meeting of the new year on a ship, on the Bosphorus. The idea of celebrating the New Year between Europe and Asia seemed extremely successful to everyone.

But first things first.

Firstly, despite natural disasters, we flew away, which could not but rejoice. From friends we heard how they spent 3 days at the airport.

Secondly, I was incredibly pleased with the transfer. Despite the group price, it was individual. Our company (and only us! ) was met by a minibus.

About the hotel: There was a list of hotels to choose from - from cheap twos to more respectable fours. Since we did not plan to stay at the hotel for days, we chose 2 stars - Diana hotel. I can't say anything special about him. The rooms are small but clean. Amenities include TV, air con, mini-bar.

On December 31, it was possible to go on a half-day excursion, but to be honest, we decided not to burden ourselves... after the flight, and we had to prepare for the night, relax.

In the evening, around 7, beautiful and smart, we again plunged into the same individual minibus and drove to the ship. Of course, you can’t call it a shining handsome liner, but the boat turned out to be roomy, designed for 300 seats (in the end, we counted 150 people) - so it was spacious and fun. The animators did not let up for a minute, in the end, even the most serious and lazy had fun like children. A bunch of competitions, dances, prizes. The menu was decent - salads, snacks, cold cuts, from hot - fish or chicken, a lot of sweets, fruits... well, alcohol - without restrictions and any. Closer to midnight, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden congratulated us, and then everyone went up to the upper deck and watched how several ships (including ours) lined up with their noses to each other - in the shape of a star. And the fireworks began. In general, it was beautiful, fun and unusual. At two in the morning we were transported back to the hotel. The company was divided - the tired ones went to sleep, the peppy ones went to the disco. January 1 and 2 passed in a festive frenzy - bars, discos. But on the 3rd, the soul asked for a high and we went to see the Old City, and after the cultural level was raised - to the Turkish bath. On January 4, they also recovered culturally enriched - to watch Istanbul - the residence of the Sultan and the Asian part of the city impressed.

We flew away with mixed feelings - and we wanted to continue the holiday on the one hand, and overloaded with emotions and impressions on the other.

In general, everyone left the impression: We are great. And they played tricks, and looked at Istanbul, and met the new year between Europe and Asia, and everything was “perfectly fine”.
