Worthy of its four stars hotel in Istanbul. Check-in to the hotel was quick. The hotel is located in the Sultanahmet area, very close to Sultanahmet Square. The hotel is housed in a 6-storey building. The rooms are small. But this is normal for Istanbul. Read in the reviews. There were no chairs in the room. Bedside table too. There was only one hook in the bathroom. So drying towels was problematic. There was an electric kettle in the room. They laid out two bags of tea and four bags of sugar. There were no spoons, but there were "funny" stirring sticks. There was no coffee in the room at all. If it wasn't for home cooking, it would have been very bad. Safe in the room is free. Respect for this. Wifi is not bad. The login is the passport number, and the password is the room number. Breakfasts from 7:30. Normal. Coffee from a coffee machine, juices from packages (3 types), water. Fresh bread, simit, boiled egg, scrambled eggs, two types of sliced ham and sausages, three types of cheese, honey, caramel, dried fruits, yogurt, two types of olives, apples, oranges. Always baking. In general, we were satisfied with the hotel. Room cleaning every day. Always reported accessories. Our towels were changed every day. The beds were made in Turkish every day too. I read on the Internet that there is a panoramic veranda, but I did not see it1. Also, around the corner of the house, very close to the hotel there is a shop "Shock". There is everything except beer and alcohol. During my stay here, I did not observe alcohol in stores. We bought wine only in the Carryfur S. A. store, located in the Sapphire skyscraper. And this is Levent. Metro station "Levent 4". It is very close to Sapphire. Green metro line in Istanbul. This is if anyone is interested. I recommend the hotel.

From food, except for hard-boiled eggs, dried fried eggs, sausages, 2 types of sausage, 3 cheese, 2 types of yogurt, and a few cookies, there is nothing. Even the famous Turkish bagels were given 1 time and not whole, but broken in pieces (either the owner of the hotel bought scrap, or removed pieces with mold). From fruits only apples and oranges. According to tourists from nearby hotels, their 3-4 star hotels had cereals, several varieties of soup and fruits for breakfast: + bananas, grapes, plums. Considering that only breakfast is included in the price, and Istanbul involves many hours of walking tours, I advise you to choose another hotel.

Somehow it turns out that the best impressions remain with me from the most unplanned trips. Especially if such trips are independent. So it happened two weeks ago, when my husband and I gathered in Istanbul. Bought tickets, booked a hotel - and go! Two hours of flight - and you find yourself in another world, where the winter sun shines differently, where the grass turns green in February, where street cats are not afraid to come up and beg, where almost on every street you can find a mosque / monument / column with a centuries-old history. … More ▾ Somehow it turns out that the best impressions remain with me from the most unplanned trips. Two hours of flight - and you find yourself in another world, where the winter sun shines differently, where the grass turns green in February, where street cats are not afraid to come up and beg, where almost on every street you can find a mosque / monument / column with a centuries-old history. And what incredible marvelous names! Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Gulhane, Dolmabahce, Kapali Charshi, Istiklal, Eyup, Sirkeci... Well, what to do there in winter - you ask? Yes, it's the same. Walking, taking pictures of everything around, sitting in a square with a bag of roasted chestnuts, riding along the Bosphorus, bargaining in the markets, feeding seagulls.
In general, Istanbul conquered me. I would like to come here again, in a warmer season and in more comfortable shoes for walking. : )
A few words about the hotel. A nice hotel, inexpensive, well located (five minutes to the tram stop, ten to the Blue Mosque, the same amount in the other direction to the Grand Bazaar). The room is small and very clean, the breakfast is no frills but adequate. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of hotels in the historical center, you can easily find one that will at least not disappoint you.

The hotel is small but very nice. Exterior - German Provence. Favorably differs from neighboring unremarkable hotels. The location is excellent - 7 minutes at a slow pace to the Hippodrome Square, and hence to the Blue Mosque along with Hagia Sophia. I recommend walking around the square in the evening. Beauty-beauty!! ! Do not recognize these architectural sculptures with illumination. … More ▾ The hotel is small but very nice. Exterior - German Provence. There are two types of hotel rooms: with a good view from the window - on the street and civilization, and without a view at all. I came across the last one... of course, the window was present, but its purpose remained incomprehensible))) View of the stairs inside the hotel, the one near the elevator usually. In general, this option of living in a confined space for a long time can cause the development of claustrophobia, but for a short stay - that's what you need!
The rooms are small, just enough to fit everything you need: a wardrobe, a bedside table with a TV, a bed, a small table with a small mirror (there is no full-length mirror). C/a is excellent. Everywhere is clean and tidy. There are large and small towels. Soap-shampoo too, and even a hair dryer. Standard set.
Tip: check the availability of products in the minibar upon arrival at the room according to the price list. The maids are still... The room has a safe with a combination lock! It's free. When settling in with you, they will open it with a key, you change the code (try not to see the boy who came with the key) - and use it to your health!
Reception staff is responsive. I left early in the morning before breakfast - they didn’t let me go without drinking coffee))) The language of communication is only English. More and more tourists are Europeans.
P. S. On the sixth floor of the hotel there is a restaurant where people have breakfast, with a panoramic view of the Marmara Sea and the city. It's worth staying at this hotel just for that. Imagine early in the morning, the sun has just risen, you are sitting at a table by the window (they all stand so well there), drinking coffee and admiring the view of the ships at sea.
I liked it, put 4 *.

Walking along the streets, be sure to try the fish that is cooked right on the street. Yummy!! ! Residents of Istanbul are responsive and always happy to tell you how and where to get. Everyone speaks English, so no problem!! ! We really enjoyed!
