4. Nearby are a lot of shops, exchange offices, the Privoz market - everything is at hand.
Despite the fact that in general I liked the hotel, unfortunately, it does not live up to 4 stars, namely:
Minuses:
1. Buffet breakfast: not included in the rate and ordered as a separate service. It costs 100 UAH. per person and just do something does not hold out for the content of these 100 UAH. (restaurant service fee? ). For 4 * breakfast should be included in the cost of living by default and be ...well, richer or something, more assortment.
2. Paid Wi-Fi. The cost is about 95 UAH.
for 3 days of use (bezmimit), which, IMHO, is expensive, given that the network was barely caught in our room - 1.5 cells out of 5 (they didn’t use local Wi-Fi themselves, but judging by the network signal level, that’s exactly what it is) . A cheaper way out of the situation (about 45 UAH for 3 days, and also unlimited) is a Life SIM card + an Android smartphone for distributing Internet via Wi-Fi (technologists will understand me : )). In a 4* hotel, the cost of Wi-Fi must be included in the price of the stay (in other words, Wi-Fi must be provided to guests free of charge upon arrival).
3. Paid minibar. For a 4 * hotel, the cost of the minibar should be immediately included in the cost of living, that is, in fact, upon arrival, it should also be provided to guests free of charge. I was not pleased that upon departure, the hotel staff immediately meticulously ran to check if we had eaten anything there ...Of course, I understand the rules, but the sediment remained.
4. Carrying luggage is a very conditional service, because
we lifted our luggage to the 7th floor on the elevator on our own and dragged it to the rooms inclusive.
The 5.4th star is clearly far-fetched - there are no 4 stars, there are good solid 3 stars, but no more. Minus for the "far-fetched" stardom.
Summary:
Good solid 3 *, but the hotel is clearly not up to 4 * (see the listed disadvantages). There is something to compare with, because they had the opportunity to stay in 3 * hotels in Ukraine, in which all the above minuses were taken into account and these services were provided by default without additional payment (i. e. , they were already included in the cost of living).
In general - a good 3 * hotel, perhaps one of the most decent in terms of comfort in Odessa. I can recommend, but be sure to consider the above when choosing!
Instead of an afterword: if you are going to Odessa or from Odessa by train, then go only to 33/34 of the Russian Railways formation, even though it travels quite slowly and is a little "smoked" by Ukrainian TEP-70 from Romen - the cars are fresh, everything works like it is supposed to (and depends more on the laziness of the conductors than on the technical condition of the cars). Try to avoid the 23/24 formation of the UZ - the train is very so-so: we drove back at 24, so we had one working titanium for 3 cars, besides, most of the cars are decrepit and old, some do not have air conditioning. . .
