I rested twice: in May 2014 and in June 2015, I lived in a standard single room. The cost was UAH 570 in 2014 and about UAH 700 (I don’t remember exactly) in 2015. In general, the impressions were positive, although Karpaty, of course, does not correspond to the 4 * level. The room is generally not more likely to pull more than 2 *. The furniture is the simplest, the mattress is old, but for "stardom" there is a mini-bar with chocolates and drinks that no one needs. There is no air conditioning in the room. But the biggest problem is plumbing: everything in the bathroom is cheap and flimsy, no matter how hard you try to wash in the shower carefully, water still pours onto the floor, the oilcloth curtain does not save the situation. On my second visit, I even brought a rag for the floor with me : ) Currently, a single standard costs about 900 UAH, and an improved one has appeared - about 1000 UAH. It’s expensive for me now, although for guests from sunny Azerbaijan, who were many in the resort last year, probably not, and the pricing policy is partly focused on guests from the republics of the former. USSR (there were also vacationers from Armenia, Uzbekistan, even Russia). Of course, the sanatorium has a beautiful landscape park, a menagerie, an excellent medical and diagnostic center (this corresponds to the declared level), a good buffet (although in my opinion it lacks some sophistication - again, given the declared category 4 *). Of course, it is better to drink water in the city pump room if possible (the attending physicians also talk about this), the difference is tangible, but when there is no time for it because of the procedures or it is raining or just too lazy to go, then of course the presence of a pump room in the sanatorium is a big plus. The pool is old, but tolerable, and it’s bad that outsiders are allowed into it for money, as well as into the sauna (and you yourself know how in our country they issue and check medical certificates for visiting the pool). The staff in "Karpaty" is very friendly and polite, for which many thanks to them. In general, in order to comply with the 4 * level, it is necessary to carry out a major overhaul of the facade of the complex, corridors, rooms, spa areas, etc. . , to replace elevators, this naturally requires huge funds, so the owners of Karpaty, Mr. Gritsak, are more interested in developing a business project for a small hotel, the Fifth Ocean, located nearby. Maybe next year I will come to Truskavets and Karpaty, this year I will go to Transcarpathia.

And what just knocked me out of the regime is a shitty gym with worn-out simulators, suitable only for scrapping. I had to go to Mirotel to the gym for 1.5 hours.
Therefore, the recommendation to the Carpathians is to make at least a rocking chair, as in Mirotel, sand is poured from not all vacationers. I would like to squat with a barbell and walk on a good quality stepper for 40 minutes. Thank God, 3 days after this sanatorium, I left for the Vogue hotel in Kemer, and got a full gym there.

This is not the first time we have been here for rest and treatment, we like everything. The medical base is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the food is too good : -). We are from St. Petersburg, we always use the services of Truskavich-resort, we met without any problems, settled in, processed all the documents.
