We rested in this sanatorium from 03/21/2016 to 04/06/2016, the impressions were very contradictory. We lived in a "studio", or rather we still live, today is the last day of our vacation here. I'll start with the positives. Friendly staff, daily cleaning of rooms, timely replacement of towels and bed linen, as well as hygiene items. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of towels - 2 bath towels, 2 for hands and 2 for feet, and even the presence of bathrobes (far from the first novelty, but nonetheless). Pleasant and competent doctor Galina Ivanovna, who prescribed good treatment and examination. The room has constantly hot water, a set of dishes, a refrigerator, a TV with 14 Ukrainian channels, an iron, an ironing board, an electric kettle and a hair dryer. The quality of food is acceptable for a budget holiday in a sanatorium, a buffet (I will write about the quantity later). Also, the pluses include the excellent location of the hotel, 5 minutes walk to the 1st pump room. The undoubted advantage is Wi-Fi on every floor (although it practically did not catch it in our room and we had to go out into the corridor to have a good signal). Another plus is the beautiful view from the room to the Carpathian Mountains, this is in the rooms that overlook the pump room. And of course, I can't help but mention the wonderful cosmetologist Natalia, who works in the spa on the ground floor. He is an excellent specialist in his field and just a very pleasant person. In general, I recommend. ))
Now let's get to the most interesting part of the story. The sanatorium was recently purchased by the owners of Mirotel, which is one of the most expensive and prestigious in Truskavets. Apparently in connection with this, the renovation of the rooms began abruptly in Vesna. Everything would be fine, but this repair took place on ALL floors. That is, the mind was not enough to block one floor and repair. So, behind the wall in our next room, from half past nine in the morning until 6 in the evening, the sound of a drill and a jackhammer did not stop throughout the rest, taking into account the fact that the walls in the sanatorium do not differ in thickness and strength. There was a huge amount of dust in the room from this, even the daily cleaning of the room did not save much. Leaving the laptop open at night, in the morning I was "pleasantly" surprised that it was all covered with a thick layer of dust. Complaints to the reception did not bring much result. As far as I understand, since you are accommodating people in such conditions, you must somehow warn about this in advance or settle at least in another part of the corridor. In general, in connection with this, it was impossible to be in the room, the throat was itching from dust.
When the electric kettle was turned on, it made such sounds that it felt like it was about to explode, just in case, they moved away from it while it was working. The pillows on the beds are all feather and apparently from old age all the feathers from them climbed out and pricked all night. The beds are all tattered, though the mattress is relatively comfortable. The toilet flush button remains in the hands with each flush. There is a carpet on the floor, which in our case was just an extra dust collector.

Now I'm moving on to the dining room. In general, the quality of food is satisfactory, one might say dietary, although upon arrival home I will not be able to look at boiled beets, carrots and cabbage for a long time, because. the menu had a vinaigrette, and all of its ingredients separately. But what really surprised me was the amount of food. Cutlets could be examined under a microscope, the cheese was not only sooo thinly sliced, these slices were 2 cm in size, despite this, we constantly fell on the remnants of this luxury and had to literally scrape them off the tray. Sausages for breakfast were brought in 2 pieces, each cut into 5-7 parts, of course they immediately ended and no one was in a hurry to bring them. Many dishes from the menu could be guessed only by the remnants of food on the plates of those happy vacationers who managed to grab a bite. So only boiled beets, carrots, cabbages and several kinds of porridge were in abundance. As for fish, cheese, sausages, they were taken out in such rare portions and in such small quantities that only the lucky ones who got there at the right time managed to eat them. We are not picky about food, but since this is a buffet, it seems to me that the dishes declared on the menu should be present on the tables from the beginning to the end of breakfast. And we got “who didn’t have time to catch the train, he didn’t leave”, and this train was not necessarily at the beginning of breakfast or lunch, something could be taken out by the end and again in scanty quantities for a sanatorium with such a number of rooms and the number of vacationers.
That's probably all about the pros and cons. I can also add as a comment that we purchased the "treatment" package here, but later came to the conclusion that it was probably not worth it. All medical examinations, doctor's consultations, etc. we passed for our money in the medical palace. The package also included such procedures as mineral baths, various types of showers, oxygen cocktails, magnetotherapy, aromatherapy and stuff like that. At the end of the holiday, we had a decent amount of unused funds on our account for these procedures, because. Most of them we didn't go to. In general, in the future I do not see the point in this package. The main advantage of this resort is water, and if you need some kind of treatment, then in any case you can find it and pay for it on the spot, without overpaying for a pig in a poke on the ticket.
