Especially in Dubai, hotels have always differed from European ones for the better. But "Delmon" shook my imagination. I am a calm and extremely non-scandalous person, but here my patience just went out of bounds. … More ▾ Lord, God forbid you stay at this hotel. But "Delmon" shook my imagination. I am a calm and extremely non-scandalous person, but here my patience just went out of bounds. Get ready for the same thing that happened to us:
1. For two weeks, we have not changed bed linen NEVER! The whole service was that the bed was covered, and then if only to hang a sign on the door.
2. For two weeks they NEVER HAVE VACUUMED OR DUSTED! As we drove into a room with dirt from previous tenants, we admired it for 14 days. Plus, with all the accuracy, their own garbage was inevitably added.
3. “Cleaning” in the room will be done only if you hang a sign on the door. This procedure consisted in taking out the garbage and (if the stupid cleaner is in the mood, and he was not always), then in replacing the towels. However, once after such a "cleaning" we found a bag with our garbage proudly standing on the sink. Another time, the trash can was lying on the floor after “cleaning”, or they played football with it. I’m generally silent about straining with toilet paper, napkins due to the “forgetfulness” of the staff. The staff didn't push at all. These are just champions of stupidity, laziness and slovenliness.
4. The story with towels in this wonderful hotel is generally wonderful: you will be given washed-out gray and frayed to the terry along the edges of the body towels, one for two towel-mat for the feet and one common hand towel for two. Everything. Hygiene, comrades, is not the end of this hotel at all. It's hard to imagine a more disgusting hotel. When checking in, I naively began to ask the cleaner where the towels were, they say, a tattered gray rag on the floor cannot be a towel. He joyfully stood with his boots on this towel and began to actively show that it was necessary to wipe his feet on it. Note that we actually have to stand on it with bare feet after showering. And here this monkey is shuffling along the towel with dirty boots - and it's normal. He deigned to replace this worn-out towel only after I switched to screaming, and sincerely did not understand the reason for my claims. To my persistent question, where is the face towel, he said that they do not have such and did not have them. I insisted. Groaning, quietly hating such a capricious tourist, brought a gray terry napkin 20x20 cm. I wipe the table like this in the kitchen.
5. In the bath upon check-in, we found someone's black curly hair. That is, it was not washed at all. Bathroom in rusty spots, all the seams on the tiles are cracked and moldy.
6. On the ceiling of the bathroom mold the size of half a square meter.
7. Twice met cockroaches in our room.
8. Tea bags and sugar began to be brought only after the scandal. For our use for tea drinking, two assorted containers were offered: a glass with a chip and a mug with a crack that was leaking. Four stars, damn it... Where to go.
9. The air conditioner does not work. The attendant thoughtfully twisted the air conditioner panel, when he realized that there was a dead man, joyfully opened the balcony and said that this is the air conditioner.
10. There are three dim light bulbs in the room, it is very dark. You won't be able to read in the evening.
11. The balcony is littered with pigeons. The railing is even scary to touch - covered with dirt, dust and droppings. Going out is disgusting. There was never any cleaning at all.
12. The ventilation is disgusting, there is no heated towel rail in principle, there is no place to dry swimwear and towels, they scattered linen on chairs and a table.

Bitten, beaten, scratched, shabby, textile chairs with failed seats are decorated with a rich palette of various stains. The waiters sweep the crumbs off the tables onto the floor. Indeed, what is there. The whole floor is sticky. On the tables are sort of once laminated napkins to put food on them. Wonderful "dog ears" at the corner of these "products" added beauty to the murdered interior. Crockery is also battered, napkins are in short supply. The only thing I can say to be fair is that they cook quite tasty, although the variety of dishes is small.
18. The company "Coral Travel" sold us a ticket for breakfast and dinner. There are no dinners in this hotel, in principle, two meals a day consisted of breakfast and lunch. And no way to change. Why the hell are we having lunch when we're away for the day? Compensation was not expected. Lost a lot of money.
19. A free bus from the hotel to Almamzar Beach leaves at nine, back at one. On the way, the bus picks up tourists from other hotels, in fact you get to the beach at 10 o’clock. There is so much time to enjoy the sea. The beach is dirty, fine sand covered in garbage and cigarette butts, although paid. Where the money goes, why such dirt is not clear. The toilets are filthy, there is no toilet paper in them at all, water (Arabs use the shower after relieving themselves) is puddles on the floor, no one wipes it. Although the sea itself is clean, the descent into the water is excellent. Umbrellas, sun loungers, towels are also paid.
20. On the last day, drinks were stolen from our mini-bar in the room and forced to pay for what we did not drink. If anything, one can of cola 0.25 costs 150 rubles in our money in the mini-bar. So give up the mini-bar immediately. Let them take everything.
21. The advertisement of the hotel said that it has a gym. It didn't exist at all. The outdoor pool on the roof and the sauna were open until six in the evening. The pool and sauna are more or less normal, there are no special complaints. Though the water could have been warmer.
22. Hotel guide Elena from the tour operator Coral Travel was in a hurry. I came to the end of the second day of our stay at the hotel, when we had already orientated ourselves in the situation, quarreled with the hotel staff, demanding the proper service and comfort. She babbled on-duty phrases, said that it was written about excursions in a brochure, let's take excursions as soon as possible or I went. What is there to tell about the city, sights, protect against mistakes, give advice. It felt like we knew more than she did. We were not offered tours, but we clarified with her what we learned from the Internet before the trip. Her task is not to inform tourists and help them, but to sell them more excursions and run away. But we are still lucky. To other tourists who arrived later than us, she generally stated that she could not come to the meeting. They never saw her. For objectivity, I note that the tours offered by her were on par with or even slightly cheaper than those offered by other tour operators. By the way, the sellers of excursions and entertainment go to the beach - it turned out to be more expensive to buy from them.

I do not recommend staying at the Delmon Palace Hotel (UAE, Dubai), the hotel does not meet sanitary standards! We rested at the Delmon Palace Hotel on the recommendation of the Tui tour agency, operator Biblio-Globus (GrandTourVoyage) from October 4 to October 7.2013. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, and for 2 rooms, paid for early check-in the cost of a daily stay, for each room. The rooms were dirty, they asked to change the room. Other rooms turned out to be just as badly cleaned, we decided to stay and not waste time moving from room to room. At the entrance to the room, I was embarrassed by a puddle on the floor, it turned out that the air conditioner did not work well in the hotel and the windows did not close well, and therefore condensation formed on the walls and doors, flowing down to the floor and forming puddles.
The bathroom was not cleaned from previous visitors, there were hairs and stains in the bathtub and sink, they asked to wash it; a boy came and rubbed it with a dirty rag, not even bothering to wash it off. We went to the store, bought a Comet, washed our own rooms (the cleaner refused to do the cleaning with the cleaning agent we bought). An hour later, I was asked to move out of the room to another, due to a breakdown of the hot water pipe, later it turned out that someone from “their own” wanted to settle in this room. I packed my things and moved, but the room turned out to be even dirtier and with broken furniture. I was given the keys to the fourth room, sockets did not work there, and the furniture was made up of different sets. Just imagine 5 hours of flying, going to the store for cleaning products, cleaning the room, dismantling, reassembling and moving 4 times a day of check-in from room to room.
I could not stand it, it was my birthday that day, and only after I burst into tears at the reception, they left me alone and allowed me to return to the room I had already cleaned. Money for early check-in was not returned (although by this time it was already 2 pm), but as compensation they were allowed to leave the hotel 2 hours later. The next day, the story of moving from room to room was repeated, I had to call the guide for help. Explaining that the hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel in any way, they asked to take some measures, but the Biblio-Globus (GrandTourVoyage) operator's guide first of all tried to blame us for something, secondly, write a letter to the office, to notify superiors. At the reception, she asked for us, as a compliment from the hotel, a vase of fruit.
At 2 am I was awakened by a phone call asking me to go down for fruit, it turned out that my friend with a child also received a call at 1 am with the same offer. Explain to me, please, how can I call the room where the child sleeps at night? ! By the way, this hotel also has a disco in the basement, and the music is perfectly audible until 3 am, the TUI agency does not warn about this. In the morning, my girlfriend with a child was kicked out of the dining room (it’s hard to call this a restaurant, where the staff eats together with vacationers, while behaving indecently loudly), kicked out, because there are few vacationers and “we cleaned everything earlier”. Well, we went for the "compliment from the hotel", I really wanted to put it on their head, but the child wanted to see how it looks. It looked like 2 bananas, 4 apples, an orange and 10 grapes; to be honest, comet cost a lot more!
On the third day I was again asked to leave the room; were sent to the operator. A friend's room ceiling began to leak, and in my room all the toiletries were covered with dirt from the hood. On the 4th day, it turned out that they didn’t want to extend the departure for 2 hours, because there should have been enough fruit…
The UAE is not the first Arab country in which I had a chance to relax, many 2-star hotels were much more worthy. But I have never seen such unsanitary conditions (sorry, for clarification, but they have one brush for the whole hotel, the cleaner walks with it), not to mention the disrespect for the guests of the Delmon Palace Hotel in Dubai, UAE, by incompetent staff. It is also a pity that the operator Biblio-Globus (GrandTourVoyage), cooperates with such a hotel, and is unable to do anything for a comfortable stay for its tourists.
Many taxi drivers refused to take us to this hotel, even if we gave the exact address, or they took us, but we had to overpay for finding it. Including I do not recommend coming to the Delmon Palace Hotel (UAE, Dubai), save your nerves.

A small mosque under the windows but it does not interfere because it works only on Friday. There are no windows at all in the dining room of the hotel, although it is on the 1st floor. We took breakfast and lunch (there are no dinners), they feed normally. It’s probably better to take it with lunch, because they bring it from the beach for dinner and you want to go down after a shower. By the way, the free bus ride to the beach is not long, from 15-25 minutes.
