I want to share my impressions of a trip to Bulgaria, to the ancient town of Nessebar. I chose the place of the trip very carefully, in accordance with the reviews on this site, which, by the way, made our life there much easier. I was interested, first of all, in impressions. The hotel was needed only as a roof over our heads, so we decided to spend the main funds on excursions around the country.

I must say right away that Nessebar fascinated us. It’s some kind of unreal life. We lived there for 10 days, walked around the old town every day and still there were charming lanes where we looked, as if for the first time. And what can I say about the night panorama of the city !? The streets, the walls of old houses, the ruins of churches, the lanterns stylized in the old days, the mass of tourists, many boutiques with souvenirs are illuminated. At every step there are bistros and restaurants where you can eat delicious food (although, to be honest, we didn’t really like Bulgarian cuisine, seemed fresh, except for the fish dishes). We really liked the sour milk and yoghurts, and the cakes and pastries are very greasy.

The weather was good, the sea is warm. The water is clear, you swim and you can see every pebble, every blade of grass and a swimming fish!

In Nessebar, during our stay, the annual children's festival "Sun, Joy, Beauty" was held. It was attended by little singers, dancers, musicians, artists from many countries. The festival was held in the amphitheater, on the main square and in the churches of old Nessebar. It was an unforgettable sight!

In the Nemo Tours travel agency at 16 Khan Krum Street, we took vouchers to the Bulgarian village of Bata, where we watched and participated in a stylized performance, saw Bulgarian folk dances, and saw nestinar dances on hot coals. At the same time, this "festival" was attended by guests from Slovakia, Russia, Romania, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Finland, Belarus and other countries, everyone had fun, ate national dishes, drank homemade wine from barrels, danced to a wonderful orchestra.

In addition, we visited Varna, Balchik, where we looked at the botanical garden, the palace of Queen Mary, the royal wineries, with a tasting of various wines. I really liked the story of the royal "sniffer" about the wines that she makes only by smell, she has never tried in her life not a drop of wine, not any spices, does not use cosmetics, does not smoke, so as not to spoil his scent. All these wines can be bought there.

We also went to the ancient city of Sazopol, modern Burgas, Pomorie, where the festival of church hymns was held in the monastery of St. George. turtles sit on trees, on the coastal sand and deadwood, turtles bask in the sun.

I was very pleased with the transport in Bulgaria - well-established traffic right on schedule, the buses are comfortable, soft and air-conditioned, and this is even a city and suburban bus, and not just an intercity one.

In general, we left with a lot of impressions about the unforgettable beauty of Bulgaria!
