We went to Bulgaria on the recommendation of friends, they really liked it, they said: "And there is something to see and you can have a good rest. "
We rested from September 20 to October 1. We settled in a small hotel in Old Nessebar.
In general, we rested normally (at least got some sleep), but there were a lot of minuses: the Bulgarians are not so friendly (maybe the end of the season affected? ).
Breakfast at the hotel is disgusting. Waiters in restaurants and cafes are nervous, not responsive. The coolest tea that can be offered in restaurants is AKBAR in bags, a cup costs 2 leva! The dishes are very often dirty, poorly washed. Somewhere in the middle of the rest we found a normal cafe in New Nessebar "Detelina", normal people work there, the menu is decent, prices are normal and very large portions.
The guides barely speak Russian, they distort the words - you had to guess the meaning yourself. The excursion program is not so hot.
The country is poor, neglected, dirty.
Someone admires shopping in Bulgaria. In fact, they sell very cheap China, it is impossible to buy something decent there.
The most unpleasant thing is the requirement for tips everywhere and everywhere, even in buses there is an announcement: "Don't forget to leave a tip to the driver. "
The main contingent of tourists - people over 50 years old.
