We returned from Bulgaria two days ago, spent a week at the Belvedere Hotel, Nessebar. I do not understand people who like to relax in Bulgaria. . . scoop - scoop, only more expensive. The hotel pulls on a solid 2 stars - it's not clear where the 4 came from. The hotel employees are quite friendly people, especially the administrator Elena, it's just that the word "service" is missing in their vocabulary - well, they don't know how it is. The first impression of the hotel is not bad: spacious room, clean; on closer inspection - a clogged drain in the shower, plumbing in a rather deplorable state, towels are changed every 4 days, bedding once a week, cleaned almost every day, if garbage can be called cleaning. Administrator Elena listened to complaints about a clogged drain in the shower, nodded her head mournfully, complained that there were constant problems with this drain, sympathized, even brought a plumber, but nothing has changed. Further: the hotel was sold to us as a hotel of the 1st line 50 meters from the beach, pure truth for a cormorant: it’s really 50 meters by air, since people usually don’t fly, on the ground 300 meters down the path, but the main joke is not this - to the SEA in Nessebar does not mean to the BEACH, Nessebar is deprived of beaches and from the hotel to the beach 1.5 - 2 kilometers. However, the climate is quite comfortable, although it can be cold, the sea is clean and beautiful, the old Nessebar is worth seeing, although it is small. Regarding food: I read reviews that everything is very tasty and cheap everywhere (people write that the three of us ate for 7-10 leva) - I absolutely disagree. We rested as a family of 3 people, as a rule, lunch in a restaurant cost us 35-40 leva (meat, fish, vegetables), no, well, if bread and soup, then, probably, you can eat for 10 three together. We tried about 10 restaurants in the new and old Nessebar, everywhere we didn’t like something: either they don’t change the oil for frying, apparently for a hundred years, then green vegetables, overcooked fish, we found a restaurant in new Nessebar, not far from the hotel, to which there were no complaints, the bistro "Alex's" and stopped experimenting. In general, the price-quality ratio, in my opinion, is negative, I will not go to Bulgaria again.
