We chose Melissi because of the yellow-sand beach. Booked a bungalow and all inclusive. We did not regret our choice for a second! The sea is a fairy tale, the beach is clean. The hotel provides special yellow beach towels if you do not want to pay for sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach (2.5 euros each). There are always a lot of people and children by the pool, but a great bar and a shady summer playground. Animators work well, the main thing is unobtrusive. Animation schedule hangs in the hotel lobby. Every day at 10-45-stretching or aqua aerobics, in the evenings for children games or children's discos, and then live music in the lounge bar for adults. Fed perfectly-myso-fish, vegetables-fruits-ice-cream-desserts. No complaints. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. We lived in a bungalow, it's about a 2-minute walk from the main hotel building, but it's even good. Our "village" was like a separate state - with its own pool, with its own lawn, there is silence and tranquility. A bungalow room is similar to a 2-room apartment (living room-kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a large balcony with furniture), in the pros - a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, dishes and a dining table. The only negative is that in the bedroom the double bed consisted of two single beds, which were constantly moving apart : ) It so happened that my birthday happened in Cyprus and the hotel gave me a bottle of wine and a fruit plate - NICE! ! a HUGE local cockroach crawled in, so we slept with the lights on all the remaining nights. The town of Ayia Napa itself is one big disco-bar-souvenir shop, there is nothing special to see, except for the port and the church and the city center. We went on an excursion to a donkey farm, cool, but a little expensive - 75 euros. On the third day of vegetable rest on the beach, we started to get bored, so it was decided to rent a car and explore the island. By the way, taking a car is very easy and not scary! And it turns out cheaper than going on excursions every day. Still, of course, the minus is that we can hardly stand the heat and next time we will visit this resort either in autumn or in spring. Yes, and it’s just a pity for the time, from 12 to 17, when it’s impossible to go outside, and it’s reluctant to sit in the room. Excellent hotel! Great vacation! I recommend it to everyone, especially young parents)
