The pool is big enough for swimming. It is very convenient to sunbathe in the hotel. Sun loungers are free for guests. There is enough space for everyone.
On the first day, due to a late arrival, we did not have time for dinner a little. The hotel gave us a voucher for lunch. As well as a compliment from the hotel - a voucher to the restaurant at the hotel for two drinks to choose from.
The room was dark, the lighting was very weak, the hair dryer did not turn on. In the morning we reported this to the reception. By 11 o'clock everything was fixed: they replaced ALL the lamps, made a hair dryer and additionally the electrician checked the TV remote control, replaced the batteries.
The standard room furniture is not new. The bed bases are worn. But everything is clean, neat, tidy. Change of bed linen and towels, cleaning daily.
Food: very tasty, with a good selection of dishes for all tastes. For breakfast, you can collect a full English breakfast from the provided products, or a light yoghurt with fruit. Juice and coffee from the machine, and tea will be brought on request.
We had breakfast and dinner included. Dinner does not include drinks. But they can be ordered during dinner for a price comparable to neighboring cafes and paid for on departure. Or (which is convenient) after dinner, leave the hotel and immediately, a few steps away, settle down in another cafe or restaurant, closer to the sea and enjoy the scenery and drink your favorite drink. We went to an Indian restaurant. It's nearby. Or the Penguino Restaurant. It's two steps away. And there it is very tasty, large portions, discounts for regular customers. The rest in their habitat ate 1-2 times a day. Vacationers actively feed them. But the cats are thin (except for Experienced). Many cats are not very healthy. I also managed to sleep for 1.5 hours. At 7.10 in Larnaca I met the guide Victor from the "Biblio Globus". He told everything to the point, without unnecessary words. There were 10 people on the bus. Therefore, we quickly reached the city of Paphos.
Meals were breakfast + lunch + dinner. I arrived at the hotel before 10 am, breakfast was still on. Russian girls work at the reception, who were brought by their parents to Cyprus as a child. They speak three languages - Russian, Greek and English. I was not allowed to have breakfast, or rather allowed for 8 euros. I refused. The suitcase was standing in the hall, I changed clothes and went to the Papa Antonio supermarket, left the hotel, past the fountain in the cafe, right along the street where buses run, and right again into the first lane, go straight, there will be a low-rise dark unfinished building on the right , take to the left, then to the right and on the left side stands "Papa Antonio". In the sausage department, the Greek seller spoke Russian very well.
I bought sausages and bread, bottled water and went to the beach. The sandy beach is located behind the hotel "Alexander... ". The sea was amazing, the weather was beautiful, the air temperature was plus 27 Celsius.
At 12.30 I returned to the hotel for lunch (lunch from 12.30 to 14.00). I was given a key card for room 505 (check-in at the hotel from 12.00), I brought my things into the room.
Accommodation.
The room was large enough with a double bed. The air conditioner was on, the bathroom was closed with an opaque door. What I really liked was that everything was painted white. There were four large white towels and one smaller one. Attached to the wall are two containers with liquid soap dispensers above the tub and sink. The balcony is large - there were a white table and two plastic chairs. There were no ropes, I attached a rope from a bandage to dry my swimsuits. Balcony door - soundproof, wooden shutters on the outside made of horizontal slats with slots.

Breakfast - every day - fried eggs, four types of muesli, milk for them, pancakes, tartlets - for them chocolate chips, ground nuts and powdered sugar. There was a toaster - at the entrance, two white bread toasts were put on the grate, and they left themselves in the toaster, then the fried ones left. Tomatoes and cucumbers changed in pieces every other day. Olives of two types. Rustic potatoes. Rice with vegetables. Sausages of two types. Fried pork bacon. Three types of sausages. Butter in single packs. Cheese of two types. You can eat indoors and outdoors in the yard. The yogurt was thick and delicious. Hot vegetables. Lettuce salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet onions, with cheese, olives and capers. Dessert - cakes, delicious soufflé s. The machine dispensed about 10 drinks. Coffee - americano, cappuccino, etc. Chocolate. Tea in a samovar. Juices of three types in a separate machine. Coffee is very high quality. Fruits - slices of apples, kiwi, bananas. Oranges cut into four pieces.
Lunch - soup - pureed tomato, cabbage, potato. On the second - pork, fish fillet every day. Salads of several types of vegetables. Garnish - hot vegetables, rustic potatoes, rice. No drinks were provided for dinner. There were fruits and again desserts - cakes, mousses. There was always a meat dish in a large piece or a chicken on a heated surface on a counter, where a kitchen worker solemnly cut off a large piece and put it on a plate. Clean plates were always warmed up when they stood in a pile before the rest took them in hand to put food.
Dinner - again soup-puree. On the second - chicken, pork, beef in batter, beef cutlets. An innumerable number of salads in the salad bar of raw and boiled vegetables. There are several types of side dishes for meat and fish dishes. There were two halls - with hot dishes and salads. For dessert - cakes, mousses, fruits. There were no drinks at lunchtime.
There have always been several types of sauces, the names are not known.
I had a boiler, a 300 ml hexagonal glass jar from Moscow. I boiled water and drank tea. But you need to ask the reception for an adapter for an outlet, since in Cyprus the plugs have three pins. Is free. The TV remote is also free. I didn’t take the remote control from the air conditioner, I don’t know for a deposit or for free.
Conclusion: if you put one spoon of each type of food on a plate, then there will be a lot, it is impossible to eat everything.
Beach and sea.
The shortest way to the beach was through the cafe "Royal" from the hotel. If you face the sea, then you need to go left along the coast to the hotel "Alexander... " and behind it there will be a sandy beach. There is a toilet on the beach, in the toilet there are cabins with a shower. Outdoor showers and faucets with water for washing feet. Is free. There were no sun loungers on the sand in front of the blue rescue booth, everyone was sunbathing on towels. The entrance from the sea is good, a little bit of pebbles along the coastline in the water. But there were places where there were no stones at the entrance. Depending on the behavior of the sea, the entrance to the water was formed. The air temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, the water in the sea is warm. The depth is small. Great place. A road of asphalt and other hard surfaces has been laid along the coast. All beaches are municipal.
Entertainment.
There was no animation in the hotel. I had the cheapest number. At six in the evening, music began to rumble in a dance bar two hundred meters away. So it wasn't boring. Music rumbled until 2 - 2.30 am. Some vacationers suffered. Others paid extra $12-$16 for quieter rooms. I always travel with ear plugs. At night, she closed the shutters on a hook, the door to the balcony, curtained the windows, inserted earplugs into her ears. If there was percussion music, it was heard through earplugs. But I slept better than at home. At night, I turned on the air conditioner for a few minutes and it cooled the air in the room. Such rooms are not suitable for children. There were many elderly people from England. In our building I met only two old boletus men from England. Other Englishmen lived in another building of the hotel, further from the dancing bar.
The flight was not rescheduled. The bus came to Larnaca airport on time. What was bad was that they combined two flights, and we drove to the airport for a long time (2.5 hours), as we stopped in Limassol for passengers. We arrived two hours before departure. Some had to issue a VAT refund on purchases. I don’t know if we had time. Representatives of the Biblio Globus tour operator stood at the check-in desk, controlled the registration process. There is a smoking room at the airport. Departed on time, the flight both there and back went on time and well.
General conclusion.
The hotel is decent. Friendly attitude towards the Russians. By the way, on the beach, the Russians, a married couple Vasily and Elena from Murmansk, complained about the discriminatory attitude towards Russians at the Aloe Hotel by the managers during dinner, who were not happy that they did not order alcohol. Moreover, they expressed dissatisfaction that the couple did not speak English.
Wonderful girls Julia, Nadia, Elena worked in our hotel. In the restaurant, only with a smile, the wait staff approached the table. A pleasant woman, Lyudmila, also works in the kitchen.
The only negative is the noise from the dance bar at night until 2-2.30. At least until 12 he worked, there were no complaints. But this is Cyprus - an island with 24/7 nightlife. Wifi without a password was perfect in the hotel, on the beach there is also good wifi behind the Alexander Hotel.

I had a boiler, a 300 ml hexagonal glass jar from Moscow. I boiled water and drank tea. But you need to ask the reception for an adapter for an outlet, since in Cyprus the plugs have three pins. Is free. The TV remote is also free. I didn’t take the remote control from the air conditioner, I don’t know for a deposit or for free.

But I slept better than at home. At night, I turned on the air conditioner for a few minutes and it cooled the air in the room. Such rooms are not suitable for children. There were many elderly people from England. In our building I met only two old boletus men from England. Other Englishmen lived in another building of the hotel, further from the dancing bar.
The flight was not rescheduled. The bus came to Larnaca airport on time. What was bad was that they combined two flights, and we drove to the airport for a long time (2.5 hours), as we stopped in Limassol for passengers. We arrived two hours before departure. Some had to issue a VAT refund on purchases. I don’t know if we had time. Representatives of the Biblio Globus tour operator stood at the check-in desk, controlled the registration process. The only negative is the noise from the dance bar at night until 2-2.30. At least until 12 he worked, there were no complaints. But this is Cyprus - an island with 24/7 nightlife. Wifi without a password was perfect in the hotel, on the beach there is also good wifi behind the Alexander Hotel.

Stayed at the hotel for 14 days. the bed was changed 3 times, and apparently they didn’t clean under the bed for the entire time we were there. I took a single for my son, there is the same thing only + a pipe under the sink in a moldy coating and sewage smells. Breakfasts on the street, where leaves from the trees pour into dishes and flies sit down on food. Everything is just great. Moreover, the air conditioners, which I don’t know when they were cleaned for the last time. We realized this by the beginning of a cough while in the room. We opened the air conditioner cover ourselves, washed the dusty grilles and everything went away.
And what kind of safes are there ho-ho, an iron box with an ordinary lock, for the rent of which you have to pay 20 euros + 20 deposit, a deposit for a TV remote control, a deposit for a mini-bar (freezer).
Tipping does not affect the quality of cleaning. Russian tourists for them are good money in lower conditions.
I told the administrator about the dirt, they sent a maid who cleaned it, but everything remained as it was. I bought the funds myself in the supermarket and cleaned (disinfected) the rooms. The administrator asked for other rooms with a surcharge, but there were none.

We flew through Foros, the host country is pipets !!! ! Guide Olga is just a breeding employee with knowledge of Paphos at the level of a tourist who has just arrived !! ! DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!! ! In addition to the cost of excursions, they did not answer a single question !!!! ! This is the only negative, although even this did not overshadow anything !!!
Who speaks languages, you can go to the agency around the corner excursions that cost 80 euros for Olya, there they cost 18, it's not a joke, see for yourself !!! ! And there are Russian-speaking agents, but it's a long way to go, but such savings are worth it!! ! It's called Louis!

We arrived early in the morning and 7 thought we would wait for the check-in, but it didn’t take a minute. The courteous and polite hotel staff distributed everyone to the rooms in the shield minutes, and invited us to breakfast))))

The location of the hotel is just perfect, 2 minutes from the sea, it is almost on the promenade, a couple of steps and you are on a busy beautiful embankment where there are a thousand restaurants, cafes, shops!!!
Many attractions are within walking distance - the Catacombs, the Archaeological Park, the amphitheater, mosaics, the house of Dionysus and much more, for which people from other resorts pay 80 euros per excursion)))) A huge plus and savings, since excursions there are all from 60 euros at least))))) There is a zoo, but we didn’t manage to go to it, a water park, but we went to the water park in Limassol - this is the largest water park on the island)))) very positive brain explosion, and thong panties after slides)))) )

The bathroom is clean, tiles. TV, hair dryer.
Separately, I want to note the only drawback (and for some, dignity : ) ) of the hotel - its close proximity to bars, etc. and therefore noisy at night. The hotel consists of two buildings connected by a corridor. So our compatriots are given rooms mainly in the second building. The suites are in the first. It is very difficult to explain here which room is better to take so that it is quieter. In the first building, you can also get into the room above the kitchen, which is also bad or with windows to the street (there are taverns, probably also noise) And in the second building, I think it’s better to take a room with windows overlooking the internal areas of the hotel, it’s kind of quiet there. And those that go to the other side (to the buildings of all kinds of bars, their backyards, ... ) it's noisy everywhere - at one end of the building from one disco, at the other from the other : )) So try to take a walk in the second one before getting a room building and rewrite the rooms facing the inner territories and not on the first floor.

Breakfast: delicious yoghurts (in containers, you serve yourself), sour cream, various muesli, milk, pancakes! , toast, buns, cheese, sausage, butter, jams, honey, cucumbers, tomatoes, omelets, fried eggs, eggs, hot (potatoes , bacon or sausages and some other side dish). Coffee machine with different types of coffee, cocoa, chocolate and tea. The coffee is delicious in it. I think there are plenty to choose from. Dinners: salads 5-6 types (vegetable, meat and seafood); hot is fish, chicken, pork, lamb or beef (everything is cooked differently on different days) and side dishes of 2-3 types + Italian pasta. Desserts: seasonal fruit, jelly/soufflé , pie.
The sea is across the road, but there is a rocky entrance to the water. There is a city "beach" 2 minutes from the hotel: cabins, benches and ladders for descending into the water from the pier (immediately deep). You can swim along the road : ) If you walk along the seashore further to the left (past several hotels), you can choose a sandy beach on one of them, or it’s better to go a little further to find yourself in a sandy bay of a municipal equipped beach (sunbed + umbrella 2.5 pounds = price all over Cyprus or lie on your own or buy a price in the store for this, cheap) This beach is behind the Alexandros hotel. Beautiful sea, the bottom is sand.
