We rested in Paphos in Roman in late July-early August.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 am. We knew that the rooms were only checked in after 2 pm or for an additional fee. We changed clothes, left our suitcases at the reception (no one touched them) and went to the beach. The beach is not far (from the hotel to the left, go through 3 shops , one bar and then left straight to the beach). At first, the beach was embarrassing: there were stones and one pier all around, and an empty field on the left. not as bad as it seems.
The hotel was settled first (! ) in Roman 2. After 4 days, it was necessary to move out, because. the rooms are being completed. We moved to Roman 1. The room is on the last floor, a triangular ceiling, a lot of space, an excellent bathroom, a hairdryer (By the way, the air conditioner in Roman 2 was better, it was not built into the wall, but external, ordinary white with a remote control, but it's rubbish)

The view from the window is standard, on the inner courtyard, i. e. trees, flowers, other buildings of the hotel)
Breakfast: it’s different for everyone, but we really liked it. There are 2 excellent coffee machines and really tasty juice. Well, I especially liked the fried bacon (maybe on the grill, I don’t know).
Dinner: for a 3 * dinner, the most luxurious, just excellent. When they started cooking it, an appetizing aroma scattered all over the street (it was especially nice to contemplate it from the roof of Roman 2 (there is a swimming pool on the roof, by the way). There were soups and various grilled things meat (including medium-sized barbecue), salads (depending on the day of the week, they were either different or almost the same), pasta, fried eggplants and mushrooms, meatballs, etc. For dessert every day a different cake with cream ( amazing), sometimes there was jelly with pudding, always melon, watermelon, oranges.
There are a lot of waiters, everyone is polite, everyone spoke Russian (both German and English and Greek . . )
There, in general, everyone speaks Russian, all around, even bus drivers (which they don’t let in with the remnants of sand on their feet, they ask you to get out and wait until you shake it off)
In general, the verdict is this: If I am in Paphos, I will stay in Romana and in no other hotel.
