Vacationing with my wife. The hotel was 30% full. Settled in a room overlooking the road. By the way, this is the main, correspondingly very busy, road along the coast. The room is small, with central air conditioning and an old TV. Decoration - one wall with a picture from Greek mythology, the other two are completely mirrored. Furniture and plumbing are old, everything works badly. The next day they changed our room without any problems. We took in the second building, because it is quieter there. The condition of the room is the same, but there is more mold on the wall in the bathroom. Plus this room - individual air conditioning. If you go to this hotel, be prepared to meet Cypriot cockroaches in the room (length 5-7 cm without whiskers) and an anthill somewhere under the bed. All this appeared in our room, about a week later, although we heard from the hotel guests about cockroaches and ants on the second day. Food: breakfast - scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs (every other day), two types of cereal with milk (forget about yogurt), sausage, cheese, fried bacon; dinner - one salad, 2-3 side dishes (pasta, stewed vegetables, fried potatoes), 2 types of meat (always the same), fruit jelly for dessert, only oranges from fruits. Drinks are not included. City beach with old sun loungers and torn mattresses 400m from the hotel. It is unrealistic to swim there, because the entrance is solid rocks and only after 15-20 meters the sandy bottom begins. The only plus of Paphos, as probably other places in Cyprus, is that there is where to walk, see the sights and excavations. But it's not worth the money spent.
