The hotel was chosen for its location as they said in a warm bay in the first place, and of course for the price. Checked in almost immediately, even though we got to the hotel early. The first thing that caught my eye was the large number of our vacationing Slavs, most of them Russian-speaking, but I don’t consider this a minus, since you could always find someone to talk to, the main thing was there were no locals, otherwise it was somehow an unsuccessful summer experience. Who travels with children, then do not pay attention to the pools and the water park, consider that this is not there, everything is cold. We got the room after renovation, I can’t say that it’s very big, but it’s comfortable and bright, good furniture and plumbing, everything worked fine, the air conditioner didn’t turn on, the cleaning is not bad, in short, for the first time in the four in recent times it was such a great place to live. Now about the beach and the sea. We always found two sunbeds side by side around eight in the morning. The sea was 22 degrees, but of course it felt colder, so I couldn’t stay in it for a long time, and if there was even a slight breeze, then the desire disappeared altogether, but naturally everyone has their own skin thickness, and the people generally swam. Under water, I didn’t particularly consider anything, but of course I saw small fish, the big ones are somehow not interesting to me, I’m simply afraid of them. There is a bar on the beach where you can also easily have a snack with fast food, we stayed for lunch often, as it gets dark early and we didn’t want to spend sunny time going to the room and the restaurant. Of course, the temperature difference is strong, there were several days when the sun was very strong at lunchtime and you could get burned easily, and in the evening it’s really cool and you pull on jeans and a sweater. We don't have any particular complaints about the food. Breakfasts are of course modest, like everywhere else, eggs, pastries or rolls, and our dinner turned out to be the most plentiful and the choice was normal, for example, we had enough of everything, we don’t make a cult of food. We took strong alcohol with us, but from the hotel we drank only beer, more or less. We were on the waterfront in the city, in my opinion this is the only beautiful and clean place, we just went to the fish market, but the smell and unsanitary conditions are such that we decided not to buy anything, there are not so many people in the shops at the Sheraton, so you can bargain well if you you need something from souvenirs or clothes, for example. The staff at the hotel is different, there are enough lazy people, but frankly no one behaved rudely, and if you give a tip, the service will improve for a while. Decide for yourself whether to go here in winter or not, I think that in the warm season everything is different here, and next time we will choose a really warm lagoon, but only in Sharm.
