We checked into the hotel early in the morning on November 2, at the airport we bought an internet card for $3. They settled quickly, they didn’t wait, they treated the employee to chocolate at the reception and went to have breakfast. After breakfast we were given a key to a room overlooking the pool. The room is not new, in a colonial style, it turned out to be large, everything worked, the TV was not a plasma, but who watched it? There were no Ukrainian channels, it was disgusting to watch Russian ones. Only TNT was turned on in the evening. True, the room was not cleaned (we ourselves wanted to be faster), but we did not waste time. We left our things and went to look for the sea. It was across the road, as it is a hotel with the prefix RESORT (second line) The beach was a 5-minute walk. We went there every day along the green alley. The beach is good for Hurghada, the entrance is deep, no corals and is in the lagoon. It was windy almost the whole day, except for the early hours from 6-30 to 8-00 - the most relaxing. The sea is calm and there are almost no people. On the beach, sun loungers with awnings and wind protection, which everyone lacked. And there were conflicts between vacationers. We were usually at sea from morning to afternoon. We played various games - threw balls, played volleyball, danced with animators and did exercises. After dinner, they preferred to relax at their hotel, near the pool. In the evening entertainment was only in the hotel on the beach. Our disco does not work and there is no animation. Rooms at the hotel are located in two-story buildings built in a circle. It was convenient for everyone to go to the restaurant. The food was not bad, but by the end of the holiday everything was a little fed up. The most interesting thing is that we read reviews that alcoholic drinks are bad, but the wine was real dry, not some kind of drink from the packages. Tried with neighbors in Royal Lagoon - diluted, not tasty. And so is the beer. Water was given every day at 1.5 liters per room. If there was not enough, we went to a lobby bar or a bar on the beach and drank water there. We treated the one who cleaned the room with seeds and Ukrainian chocolate.
Separately, I want to write about the masseuse in the hotel on the first line of the Grand Plaza. . She has magical hands. And I will come here again just because she gives an amazing full body massage from the tips of her toes to the top of her head.
The eviction went quickly, they gave me modest dry rations for the road: I had two buns with cheese in the middle, a small bag of juice and an orange. My husband got the second bun with sausage)) Without water!! ! Although it was still 3.5 hours before the plane. The flight was canceled and we left at 5:30 pm.
