We chose "Aqua Blue" due to numerous positive reviews and did not regret it at all. For a 4 star hotel this is really good. The three of us flew (my son and I and an adult niece, i. e. 2+1) from TezTour and once again we were convinced of the professionalism of this company: everything was fast, competent and at the highest level. In "Aqua Blue" "TezTour" has a huge quota of places, so despite the full load of the hotel, we were accommodated within 10 minutes upon arrival. We immediately asked for the main building and the 2nd floor (they didn’t give us any money! ), but when we settled we were offered the 3rd building and the 1st floor, which we did not agree to (mainly because of the floor), and we immediately, only for the "please", they gave a room on the 2nd floor in the main building overlooking the courtyard, in which every evening there were children's discos, and after adult animation, which did not prevent us from falling asleep at all, as some reviews wrote, we were so exhausted during the day (the sea, the water park , walks in the Old Market and just shopping) that slept without hind legs. Things were delivered to the room quickly, the delivery man was very kind, showed and told everything, complimented my English - they gave him a dollar : ) The safe was closed, they called the reception - after 10 minutes a worker came and opened it, showed how to use it. The room was large, with a balcony, with 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed, with air conditioning, safe, TV (not flat, but it worked fine, there were Russian channels), in the bathroom there was a shower, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer, liquid soap in dispensers, t . e. mini perfume sets are not provided, but we already had everything with us. In general, for the placement of "five".
The territory is huge, everywhere there are swimming pools, decorative pools, interconnected by canals along which gondolas float (we rode - great! ), So it gives the impression of "little Venice". The water park with its slides and thematic figurines of cartoon characters and films organically fits into the overall picture of being in Disneyland. There are 4 restaurants serving the all inclusive system, and paid Food Court cafes serving visitors to the water park from other hotels. Since we lived in the main building, we were close to the main restaurant Cave du Roi, and to 3 others located in the 6th building - l'Asiatique, Mediterranian and Italian (I forgot the name, something like il Camilotto).
The food is basically the same everywhere, with slight differences, such as the spicier food in the Asian, or squid in the Mediterranean. We usually went to the main one, since it was on the way to the beach, and the largest in terms of area. The food is usual for Egypt, no worse than in the "five", although there were no packaged juices and fresh juices, but that's what it is " four". For breakfast, omelettes, fritata, sausages of various types, similar to soy, a lot of pastries, jams, yogurts, chopped fruits, muesli, oatmeal, rice with raisins and coconut (yum! ), pancakes, etc. For lunch there was always fish like pangasius fillet, fried, stewed and simply boiled on the diet table, beef, chicken, mashed potatoes, baked, french fries, different types of pasta, spaghetti with sauces, fresh and stewed vegetables also in sauces, my favorite broccoli in different types, pizza for my son, hamburgers and sausages in dough, etc. Traditionally, local alcohol was taken at the bar, usually red wine, white was disgusting. Dinner is usually the same as lunch, but with some "twist" like stuffed turkey or roast beef (there was always a queue for this), and with large vases of whole fruits: oranges, dates, persimmons, guava. In general, we were never hungry, for food "five".

The staff is polite, they work quickly, but there wasn’t much helpfulness - they were either tired or indifferent: they gave the cleaner a dollar every other day, and they didn’t wait for swans from towels, but really, they cleaned it normally, even a couple of times the floor was washed : ) The reception was always busy, and we had to approach them almost every day to prescribe the key, for some reason he didn’t want to open the door for us, they did it to us like under a stick, they say, you got it already! You had to carry towels to the beach with you, which is extremely inconvenient, it would be much more comfortable with cards, and also make sure that they were changed to clean ones in the evening! Objectively: the staff works well, but indifferently, a spark of revival appears only at the sight of a dollar bill.
The sea is super, clean, warm, there are fish, but not many, since the reef is almost dead in the bay, we found a small crevice in the reef in the bay, where there were whole flocks of fish: lionfish, and parrots, and clowns, and Napoleon, - and all the time they only swam there, and by the shore and under the pier, the kids were already whipping up the sand so much that it was almost impossible to see someone. Once we went to the wild beach behind the pontoon on the left, but there was a wind, the waves chatted you in the water, so we couldn’t enjoy watching the fish, although there really are more of them than in the bay.
After lunch, we tried to ride the slides in the water park. There were enough buns for skiing, even when many guests from other hotels arrived. Rescuers always tried to give a ride to everyone in turn. there are not enough caretakers on the slides, it happened that you yourself sit down and go, as he is busy at another site.
Summing up, I will say that the rest was very eventful, we ran all the time in order to be in time for everything: to the sea, and to the slides, and for lunches and dinners, and for entertainment. My child is absolutely delighted, and my niece and I would not mind returning to Aqua Blue, where we had a wonderful time in a coffee bar, drinking latte and cappuccino, while my son danced on a children's animation. In general, I recommend for a trip with children 5-12 years old for a period of 10-14 days: less is not enough, you won’t have time to enjoy your vacation, and more is already tired
