I don't even remember why I chose this hotel. We went with my wife and son, and also took my parents out for the first time in a foreign country. Quite a decent hotel, a large green and interesting area, there is a water park, of quite good quality, the location of the sunbeds around the slides and pools is very convenient, there are many bars and restaurants. Simply amazing alcohol! Very surprising for Egypt. I don’t remember what kind of food - it means like everywhere else in Egypt) It’s very convenient to go out for a walk - there are bazaars and just shops nearby, we walked a lot on foot, it’s a bit inconvenient that it’s downhill, back uphill a bit. Minus - the road to the sea. It will seem to many just the longest) 15-20 minutes at a slow pace (on youtube there is a video of the entire road, someone posted it), then through the Albatros hotel and there is already an elevator down, or 4 flights of steps. There are buses to Albatros, but we like to walk, so it was acceptable for us. There are no queues for the elevator, we went down and up the stairs twice - it’s better on the elevator)
Now the main thing is the sea. The main beach - no sea. But for the parents it turned out the most. We took fins, masks, snorkels all the time and went to the left for 100 meters - really very close! The pontoon is empty there, why the hell is it, as I understand it, passengers get on boats from it. Security is sitting nearby, everywhere there are signs about not swimming, not entering, etc. How many walked - no one said a word, and everyone who swam there - returned only there, to this fairy tale. In short - on a pontoon, put on flippers, dive and to the left again, swim under a rope with buoys - the sand changes literally with a sheer wall of corals, a little further the wall goes into the depths, turning into blue into black, it takes your breath away! (Especially after shark attacks : ) ) Very nice! I saw moray eels and octopuses and a lot of stingrays, one stingray in diameter was larger than my arm span (I'm 188 tall), according to my estimates, two meters across, fish stuck around it and on it, and all this swam very slowly and gracefully about 5 meters below me! ! very good!!!
In short - except for the road to the sea, everything else is just super! ) Parents are still delighted )
