We rested at Gafy Resort from 12 to 23 June. I'll tell you about everything in order.
About the territory:
The hotel is small. Comfortable enough. The restaurant and the beach are within a minute's reach from any location of the room. You can walk to Naam Bay in 15-20 minutes on foot.
About the beach:
A nice and compact beach with a gentle entrance, which is very convenient for children and mothers with a child. A little further from the coast there are corals with a diverse underwater world. Some fish even swim near the shore.
About stores:
There are 3 shops on the beach that do not compete with each other in terms of goods. Very friendly sales people and very reasonable prices.
Near the hotel from the beach there are shops with decent service and good essentials. A couple of times they saved us from burns with their "aloe talkers" for free.
Also in the administrative building there is a good jewelry store with the lowest prices in the area and a huge assortment of silver products.

I was most pleased in all these stores that all the sellers are very respectful of customers, they are not rude and impudent, and you can always bargain with them for a good price for both parties.
About the room:
We lived in the building in room 1437. The room, as in any hotel, was "a little tired", but on the whole we were satisfied. We looked at other rooms, but decided not to change the awl for soap. The hull rooms have a good closet and a view from the balcony to the sea. Always after cleaning the room was clean, which surprised in a good way.
Due to the fact that the hotel is being renovated until August 2019, I do not recommend taking rooms in one-story buildings, because you will have a view not of the pool, but of the pool with the construction site: the view is not very good, and there is a lot of noise.
4 days before departure, they tried to move us to such rooms, because of which we had to clash a little with the administration. They defended their right to live in the building for 2 days. Both time and nerves had to be spent. The sediment from this "struggle" remained...
About staff:
The staff is quite polite and courteous, very friendly and helpful people. They will always smile, talk, ask how the rest goes, and joke with you. They know Russian quite well, but knowledge of English will be a huge plus for you. Separately, I would like to mention the staff of the restaurant and bars. Very cool team.
About nutrition:
The food is quite varied: vegetables, salads, side dishes, meat and fish dishes, desserts, fruits. Everything is very delicious.
For drinks - standard: water, juices (apple, multifruit, orange, pineapple), for breakfast - hibiscus, tea, coffee and cocoa from the machine (coffee and cocoa are disgusting, by the way. Therefore, I recommend adding milk to them so that at least somehow you could drink them).
Very good dry rations were collected on the excursion: juice, 4 sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, sweets. It was difficult to eat it completely.
About animation:
The animation guys are very good, but not professionals. The level of entertainment itself leaves much to be desired. Everything is very similar:

in the morning - stretching (quite decent), water aerobics in the sea (which affects its quality not for the better. Reminds me of the Soviet "a woman sowed peas... "),
after dinner - "zumba" (but only the name comes from zumba. And these 5 dances are danced in the morning, on water aerobics, on zumba and in the evening between the children's and adult programs, some dances are also included in the children's program),
in the evening - a mini-disco for children (every day the same thing), for adults - 3-5 types of programs that change periodically (not at all interesting). More enthusiasm and professionalism is needed to make people want to attend all the animation activities. In the end, there is always the Internet, where you can watch some entertaining scenarios and video tutorials.
Summing up my review of the hotel, I would like to say that despite any shortcomings, I am ready to consider this hotel for a trip to Sharm next time.
