I will start with the check-in - the rooms are almost all the same (except for the two-room ones) but at the reception you are immediately offered for 15-20 dollars to give a "nice room" - do not be fooled, look at the room that is offered without extra charge, and then make a decision...Check-in at 15.00, but they gave us bracelets and we went to lunch...The first negative impression - there is absolutely nowhere to sit, everything is taken....We wandered around the hall, looking for a free table, and the staff watched and did not help in any way...there were many tables for 4.6 people, where 2 people sat and spread out their things so that no one else could sit down.
In the evening, the story repeated itself, dinner starts at 7:30 PM, everyone wants to eat quickly and go for a walk in the city, so all the people (and this is 80% of hungry Muscovites) ran to the beginning of dinner, lined up in front of the door, and as soon as the door opened, everyone ran in, occupied tables and ran to throw food, then lined up for meat or fish, which are given in portions in pieces in one hand, and then lined up for alcohol - which is poured a little at the bottom in small plastic cups (by the way, all alcohol has one taste, just from different bottles). If you don't have time to take a table, you have to wait 45-60 minutes for the first wave to eat and then go to dinner at the second event - but it's already 8:30 PM, and while you're standing in lines and eating it is already 9:30 PM and if the dishes are still being renewed a little, then there's no problem with fruit - they're already the choice is limited (there were always only oranges cut into 4 parts and dates - sometimes they gave small green melons and once, during the whole time, they gave watermelon (they cut it into thin 1cm pieces and gave each one 2-3 pieces.
The food is monotonous - no changes in 10 days...
The vegetables were carrots, cabbage, thin green pepper, lettuce, arugula and cucumbers - no tomatoes at all, and if there were, then only in salads, chopped into small pieces....A lot of national food that we couldn't eat...For breakfast, boiled eggs - which we never had....an omelette that was fried 1 mm thick. plastic sausage and cheese product that creaks under your teeth.....Coffee - none, tea - only 1 type (black in bags) - they give a bag and a mug of boiling water, on the side of the table there are plastic chopsticks and sugar in sticks, no spoons....
But the choice of food is not the most important thing, I could do with a piece of fish and greens, it would be enough for me, the worst thing is the arrogant, rude attitude....
The staff who distribute it is impudent, arrogant, divides vacationers into two categories....They throw skin and bones into one plate, and when "their" come, they put clean, good meat in large pieces...I am attaching a photo as proof - my plate where there is bone and the plates of Arab women where there is good meat, or 2 pieces of fish each...
When a man who was thrown a mini piece - asked for more - he was rudely answered - "come on, come on, go", and a woman from Saratov, who stood in line for alcohol and was poured a little at the bottom - drank this whiskey right at the counter and asked for more - she heard in response - "go away, you idiot"
Bartenders in bars near the pools - this is a separate story, if you don't pay, then cocktails are made at most primitive brandy-cola or gin-sprite and then with such a face as if you owe them a million and still want to drink at their expense, beer is poured so that there is only foam and 3-4 cm of beer in a plastic cup, when we said why he was doing that, he started rudely saying that it's beer, and it foams, he can't do otherwise, take it and go before it gets warm...
In short - we went for beer, coffee, tea and fruit to supermarkets, so as not to humiliate yourself for your own money - because here it's just a name - "ALL INCLUDED"..... .
A calm bay (hotel in Naama Bay)
A gently sloping sandy entrance into the sea – the ideal entry point for the hotel, which gradually deepens, sand, and a few rocks.
A vibrant reef for snorkeling – there's a reef at the neighboring hotel (to the left), you can easily walk to it along the shore. The reef is truly beautiful with a large variety of fish. We even saw swordfish, porcupine fish, stingrays, and many others, as well as moray eels and lionfish. However, they aren't active during the day. Coral reefs are a must!
The location is convenient – .10 minutes to the promenade in the center of Naama – where there are shops, entertainment, etc. A 10-15-minute drive to the Old City and Soho.
We go to Egypt for the beauty of the Red Sea and for pleasant walks. If these are your criteria for choosing a hotel, then Gafi is perfect, especially since it's cheap compared to other hotels in Naama.
Much has been written about the hotel itself, but in short: the grounds are small but not bad, with some greenery and beautiful lighting at night. They advertise heated pools, but they were cold during our stay. Three water slides are small. The water isn't heated. The hotel has renovated superior rooms. The deluxe rooms are all in poor condition, and there might be no hot water in the morning or evening, as they heat it with solar panels, but then again, there's no point in staying in your room in Egypt. If you're looking for a beautiful room, this isn't the hotel for you. I won't go into detail about the food, which is a C- out of 5. There are plenty of restaurants and exotic fruit stands nearby – if you're looking for variety, you'll find it.
In the evenings, there's children's entertainment and shows for adults.
In conclusion, if you're going to Egypt not to sit in your room and overeat, but rather to enjoy the sea for a reasonable price, this hotel is perfect.
clean and well -groomed territory
For children under 6 years old water park and playground is very good
The numbers are simple, small but normal
The food is normal
everything liked, let's get back here again
We rested by the company 4 adult girls and a 8 -year -old child with a resettlement in two rooms, respectively double and 2+1, the hotel was chosen based on the budget, the number of days and reviews. We arrived at the hotel at about 10 a. m. (settlement in this hotel from 15:00). We were immediately alerted by the lobby, as a rule - this is the face of the hotel, with dirty rubbed seats.
After repeated clarifications, there are still free numbers, we were settled at about 14:00.
We got the rooms exactly the same with two one and a half beds. My son and I slept together, in principle, I and my 8-year-old child was enough, but the very fact that this number was not designed for three.
The room fund is outdated, but with everything necessary, if not clinging to the little things (one of the numbers was broken in one of the numbers and one of the sliding doors of the shower cabin was broken).
Cleaning, here is lucky! The buildings are divided into sectors, as I understand it, each has their own cleaner. We were twisted for the dollar left, elephants and monkeys ...our friends were less fortunate, only an extra bottle of water for the dollar could leave for the dollar (by the way, initially driving into the room, one of the beds was a dirty sheet). They cleaned every day! The towels were changed several times in 9 days. Beach towels lie in the room, they are not changed.
In our issue 2+1 there were only 2 of them, after a zh daytime reminder of another towel, on the 4th morning they brought it to me.
Pool. There are several pools with warm and cold water, children for the smallest with a couple of hill. Three large slides with bored lifeguard, they let children only over 12 years old.
Service is a separate topic ....Be prepared that your drinks can casually throw you at a bar with a dissatisfied face, as if the bartender brought them from the house))) By the way, drinks are laid 2 cups in your hands, and even if you are a large company, you need to go all in a circle of 2 into your hands ...drinks are alcohol and non -alcoholic, like typical Egyptian drinks. Beer is tasty, bottle, good coffee ....That's all ...a bar with alcohol is only at the pool, on the beach there is one paid second non -alcoholic.
Restaurant and food.
All the unsmilling cooks are giving portionedly two pieces of meat and fish on a plate ...In terms of food, enough, empty marmites periodically change to filled, the food is monotonous, sometimes not tasty, some dishes are not clear to me, from the meat, from the fish, mostly Merluz or something like that with the proud of the Tuna sign, you will not remain hungry, but also. Do not count on oysters either.
Animation. In general, she is not here. I can note only a smiling sociable guy who spends in the morning on the ZUMBU beach and probably some more active sports, but they did not meet me. If you expect that someone will entertain your children, I hasten to upset, you will be if there is no suitable company for your child. The maximum, in the evening for your children, a half -hour mini disco will be held (the same thing every evening). But!
Of the pleasant, almost daily in the evening, invited local artists come, who show various forty -shock shows (belly dance, skirt dance, fiery shows, acrobats, guitarist ..... )
Wi-fi is, catches on the lobby, by the pool and even in some rooms ...The signal is not always strong, especially at the peak, but in general it works, which was very pleased.
Of the good, this is a sandy beach, there are enough sun loungers, there are a couple of dead reefs with fish.
This review could only stay in my thoughts, if not for the cherry on the cake!
We had an evening departure from the hotel at 17:00 and as eviction from the hotel at 11:00, we decided to extend one of the numbers until this time, having paid $ 35 in 6 hours of stay, the administrator at the reception said that he should cut down the bracelets from 3 out of 5 as we have handed over and we could not use the benefits of this institution (we all overheard that we have overheard, which we have now left for us, which we have now left for us. Only 3 glasses of the drink in the lobby bar (bar is said loudly (2 types of “Juppy” and water). If I were the first time in Egypt, it might not surprise me, but for me and my friends, which were more than I and we all in different hotels, just killed! As a rule, you usually fly home with these bracelets! And the promise to give later, I was found after 40 minutes by the administrator of the reception with scissors on the beach)))) ......
Summing up: if you rested earlier in the hotels of Egypt above the rating and you have something to compare with, then you definitely should not go here !! !
There is no water or other drinks on the beach - and this is all included, despite the fact that the temperature is +46 Food - you will not be hungry, but you need to go to the opening of breakfast, lunch, dinner...because later there will be eaters, very stingy , the staff is not friendly, how would you like to see how they cut meat into three pieces on a plate, which glow, and on the side the supervisors are stingy and watch everything...Water, tea, coffee, drinks, you will not take it yourself from the machine, and you will be given in 100 ml glasses and look at it with contempt - gutters....this shouldn't happen....They won't give water to the room themselves until you ask, they don't clean it every day, the furniture is very old....Another very big minus for the hotel!!!! ! The air conditioner in the room did not work properly, it was at an air temperature of + 46 and the safe did not work - 2 times we made a request at the reception - no one did it ((( they treat tourists shamefully....The only positive thing about the food is the pastry shops products, a large assortment.
Butter is not given at all, watermelon is cut with the skin so thinly that it is impossible to hold it in your hands, they look into your plate, stand watch at every step...so disgusting and not pleasant Only a special big thank you to the animators, especially the animator Victoria, in her place , involved us in games, dances, physical education. Victoria is cheerful and active, she dances extremely beautifully, she was our best positive ))) Victoria - you are great??????????? ? Good luck to you in life and in all your endeavors!! ! The sea is clean, good, fish - the only thing that comforted, unlike the hotel...The hotel must change its attitude towards tourists, not only give preference to Arabs....Don't be stingy, don't save, take the experience of other hotels!! ! We don't want to go here anymore, I don't recommend it to my acquaintances and just strangers - don't spoil your rest and mood ((( The hotel does not correspond to 4 *
. A heated swimming pool is open in winter. Everything is controlled, cleaned, taken care of. The chef is very friendly to guests from Ukraine. Animation for a child is great. Let's celebrate the animator Cheddy for his natural flair and talent to be a real and professional animator, the child really liked it. Volleyball, golf, table tennis, darts, etc. The hotel is quiet, many families. Would come back again. Contingent: locals, Italians. The only minus of the hotel is Muscovites. Behave like real pigs. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
1. If you are ready to spend 1.5-2 times more, then go to Novotel (everything is worthy there), which is 200 meters away.
2 if not, then the hotel is the best price-quality offer:
-Beach - super, sand, police entry, not goobo, safe, a lot of awnings and sunbeds, new towels and sunbeds, new souls
- near Novotel beach - there is a super coral rhyme, moray eels, napoleon, khirurki lionfish stingrays, etc.
- the staff is growing, on the territory: a lot of greenery, everything is watered and shredded
- functioning illumination of the entire territory
- several pools, all cleaned, washed
- area is cleared daily
- vpzhny plus! Daily mosquito treatment!!!
Of the minuses: well, not super rooms, maybe. the TV or safe does not work (what is it for)
- food is put on (especially expensive items: melon meat, watermelons)
- drstarchno food, 2 4 types of meat, but I put a lot of arayam and they eat 2-3 times more, well, thank God, you definitely have enough of everything, the sheep are delicious
- yes, not in abundance - sausages and cheeses, butter, npt shrimp, etc. , but if anyone wants, they can either go to Mohoyny restaurant for $ 10.20 and eat quality seafood or pay 2 times more and go to Novotel
- for alcohol: there is wine: red and white, beer at the central bar, sometimes they pour half a glass, but it depends on the bartender, but the people who drank it drank normally, but forget about it booze, if necessary, then in Naama bey, Novotel, Dream beach, Marina sharm, etc.
In general, not bad, we liked it for these crap, nearby (1 km along the promenade along the beach line of 4-5 star hotels) the center of Naama bey, who knows what kind of resort it is, look on the internet and yes I recommend the fish restaurant Mohony
You have to ask for toilet paper and soap. There is no shower head in the shower, only a shower. If there are children, then this is insanely inconvenient. To wash a child and not pour water on his face, you need to go through a whole quest. The mini bar in the room is one and a half bottles of water a day. The air conditioner works like a jet engine. 80% of tourists are Arabs. They can get in without a queue for food, and impose huge portions on them, but this is not about you! So much will be put on your plate, as if the kitchen workers are sharing their last piece with you. And at the same time look at you as if you have been eating everything from them all your life. But this is not about all employees, some are friendly, but just as greedy. Melon, watermelon and ice cream for 8 days were one time. And they cut them into miserable pieces with a disgruntled face. The food is always the same day after day. It is impossible to fall asleep normally by 12 o'clock, maybe the Arabs having a rest go with their families and go gold for the whole corridor.
They feed while on the street because the main restaurant is under repair. Together with you, crows and small birds similar to sparrows will eat from your plates. The only plus of this hotel is the beach. Suitable for families with children of any age, the sea is clean, the entrance is sandy. You can see the fish. In some places there are corals, but they are dead. Because of the sea alone, I do not advise you to relax here. Insanely greedy staff, food for 3, cleaning for 2, staff 50/50, the hotel as a whole is 2 *. For the money you can find a much better place to stay! Yes, there is a pool with slides for very young children, but we were there once and did not go there again, because the water is very dirty. And one pool with slides for adults. They won’t let you in in a T-shirt (if you suddenly get burned and walk around in it), but Arabs in a burqa are allowed. They, in principle, have a green light everywhere ...And this is very striking, especially in the "restaurant
Coffee in the morning, there is alcohol / drinks, in portions according to the issuance)). We had enough. The animators are great fellows, I didn’t think that it was so fun to relax)) on the beach morning exercises, golf, darts, table tennis, aqua aerobics and yoga)). They rested happily and with pleasure. I would like to return)
Cons: mosquitoes at night in the 3rd and 4th buildings if you open the window (I had to buy a raid with sticks in the pharmacy, the air conditioner is noisy and does not regulate anything (thank God the temperature is set to a comfortable level). Rudeness of the cooks, huge lines for food (almost needed not to extort to put as much as needed). Tea, coffee - only in the morning in the general restaurant. From 10 to 22 - all drinks are issued in a tiny booth near the main pool, on the beach there is only a paid bar. Nowhere is there even a hint of a water cooler.
Conclusion: semi-rest ...very conditional all inclusive, next time I will pay 20-30% extra and go to Mariot or another five or an honest four with the same coast in Naama Bay, what is there to suffer.
