We were in Egypt for the first time, the reviews about Egyptian hotels were frightening, where instead of stars they draw camels. But this hotel was great. Lived in room 106, settled without incident. The beach is multi-tiered, we always went down to the water itself, you can walk in shallow water in slippers or barefoot, coral fish swim right under your feet, then the coral is separated by a rope with floats. The entrance to the sea is via a pontoon, the corals are very beautiful, especially to the left of the hotel, there is still an empty area where the coral stretches for tens of meters, and there are also separate coral "hummocks" at a depth - no worse than taking excursions on bathyscaphes.
There are 4 heated pools on the first line, 3 of them are for children - with a gentle entry and small ones, which is what we needed. One big one - depth 1.95m. One children's pool with slide and waterfall. There is a playground with swings and slides, a "kindergarten" where children play in the morning until lunch.
There are no problems in the room, everything is clean and working. The TV has 1 Russian channel, instead of another promised one - an incomprehensible language, it seems Georgian. Cleaners really knock or call in spite of the posted sign, not the fact that they understand what is written there. The room has an electric kettle and tea/coffee/sugar, 2 and a half liter bottles of drinking water a day, we have accumulated a whole bunch of them. You can't drink tap water and you can't even brush your teeth with it, you must use water from a bottle.

The food is quite varied, there was fish every day, and in addition to 3 types of pasta (of which there are more), there was enough other food. : ) There was something to feed a small capricious child. The timetable for serving food seemed not very convenient to us. If you have small children, then after lunch and daytime sleep, there is literally half an hour of sun left, then darkness sets in. There are two types of lunch there - a buffet or hamburgers / fries, the second type of lunch starts earlier and it would suit us more in time, but this is more designed for Western people, we are not used to such food. In general, the hotel's cuisine is more designed for Western tastes, for example, tea is not served for dinner, you had to go separately for it. The first and second lines serve slightly different food, sometimes you can go to the second line and try what they give there. How the "Italian" restaurant differs from the buffet, we could not understand, actually the buffet was enough for us.
A bit confusing layout of the hotel territory - you need to learn the map of the area (issued), otherwise it is not clear how to get from the courtyard with the pool to the lobby (by stairs), but this problem is solved on the first day. There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby, which seems to be a rarity for Sharma, though you have to take into account that 30 more people will be talking on Skype with you, the communication channel is full. Under the lobby there is a bar where the Internet is also caught. The animation is standard - Black Lace, trains, etc. , given that it's better to go to the sea early - it's not really needed. There is a large gym with exercise equipment and what seems to be a spa - we didn't use it.
Nearby there is an abandoned construction site, but at the moment there is no activity, peace and quiet. In general, the territory of the hotel is very beautiful, a real huge labyrinth of flowers and walls (carry a map with you so as not to get lost).
Outside the hotel, a 5-minute walk away is SOHO Square - a square with bronze statues, dancing fountains, an ice rink, a playground and shops.
The audience - there were many English and Norwegians with us, there may be a quarter of Russian-speaking people, the hotel staff, apart from a couple of "ours", understand little Russian, so it is useful to know English or Arabic for communication.
