On Thursday evening they offered to go and on Friday we were on our way to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 10, at 10:30 we were already swimming in the pool, at 11:30 at our request, bracelets were put on us and we were already fully using all the hotel's services. We were checked in at 1:30 p. m. Two bars directly in the pools. I don't drink alcohol, so I can't talk about the quality and quantity of alcohol. The dining room has a very rich selection of food, and m? the food is natural, not in the form of cutlets or something else. A lot of vegetables and fruits, they came even 10 minutes before the end of dinner and tomorrow and there was a lot of food. The sea is super, warm, clear. There are enough beds for me. We always found right by the sea.
Entrance from the pontoon. If you have children, you can swim on the shore and there are also a lot of fish. Evenings are always fun. Shows are different every day. In general, I and my two children, a 14-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son, like everything!! !

Pros:
Quick check-in
Arrived at 13.30, near the buses were 14.30. We would have had time for lunch, but because of our morons, who were queuing at the airport for local SIM cards for communication, we arrived at the hotel at 15.15. We didn’t have time for the main lunch, but then we ate at a bar near the beach. (by the way, quite decent food). We settled in 15 minutes (the first line) - things and we ourselves were brought in an electric machine with a breeze.
Territory
The total area of ​ ​ the hotel (including the second line) is huge, very clean, green, beautiful.
Beach
Norm, multi-zone. There were enough sun loungers, but 70-80% are a bit old. True, I'm afraid in the season with almost full settlement, there may be problems with places. January-February - no problem.
Wi-Fi
Free in the lobby and near the lobby - the norms, for calls via Viber and sending photos, a little surfing the Internet is enough.
Near the pool 1 line also worked.
The drinks
Norm, poured almost correctly (ie, not 1/3 or even 1/2 cup). Gin tastes like gin, sambuca - sambuca, vodka and brandy are also like them. Wine and beer as always on top! The only suck is whiskey. Personally, butlers and bartenders did not refuse me, they poured everything that I asked for. 2 glasses in hand always.
Food
Excellent (meat, fish, seafood, rice, pasta, cereals, soups, fruits, yogurts, tea, coffee, cappuccino, sweets were always there). There were no problems, well, except to wait 3-5 minutes for some squid or crabs.
Rooms and housekeeping
No complaints. Our room was 310 - not bad, everything worked, it didn’t leak, it didn’t make noise, it didn’t stink. Cleaning at height (1 dollar + 2 chocolates), sheets, towels clean, whole.
Staff
Fine! Room cleaning Ali Muhammed, life guard Mahmud, restaurant staff, cooks are all very friendly. They are trying to learn Ukrainian words, for which special thanks.
Minuses:
Of the small minuses - weak animation and loud music in the evening.
Of the big minuses - a dying reef and not so many beautiful fish. But this is not a problem of the hotel, but I think this whole resort region. Or maybe it’s always like this in winter, I can’t say for sure.

In general - a pleasant stay, the weather did not disappoint, the sea was wet (it was about +22), the sun was warm (one day even up to +25 in the afternoon), the wind was blowing. + 1 kg (hello all inclusive)) brought home with a tan and a desire to go more!

1. Settlement and number of rooms. Check in was quick, within 15-20 minutes. Although we arrived at 10-00, we were immediately settled. At what they offered a choice of the first or second line. I deliberately chose the second line. It is more calm and quiet there, more space.
The room is excellent, everything worked, nothing fell off. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day, bed - every three days. There were 2 bottles of water. Water is available throughout the hotel. The bathroom has a shower and a separate bathtub.
Tulle as in all hotels - with some traces of vacationers. But not critical.
2. Territory and beach. The territory is clean and well-groomed, all the time it was cleaned, watered, cleaned, washed. We saw how the windows were washed throughout the hotel. The pools were cleaned every day. The central pool on the 1st line is heated. The beach near the sea itself is really narrow, but this is not a problem, since the beach is made in a cascade in three lines. For example, we liked to relax on the second line (cascade) of the beach.
The beach is clean, but the trouble is with vacationers who find it hard to go to the trash can and throw away a cigarette, it's easier to leave it in the rocks, or in the sand, or in a glass of drinks.
The sea is beautiful, there are live reefs, we saw moray eels, stingrays, and crabs, a flock of barracuda swam. The turtle came early in the morning.
3. Nutrition. I don’t know what those people eat who write that there is nothing to choose from food, and they can afford the Egyptian four))).
In the morning, three types of scrambled eggs and an omelet (I witnessed the indignation of Russian vacationers who did not like the fact that they had to stand in line for an omelet, while they were second))), and in any hotel there is always a line for an omelet). There was always beef and chicken in several versions, every day squid and fish. There was tuna and crabs, they also gave duck and turkey. From fruits: oranges, tangerines, bananas, guava, sliced ​ ​ apples, pomegranate, dates, melon, dried apricots, prunes, figs, physalis, kumquat. I personally really liked grilled vegetables. Baking and cookies are always delicious. Every day the chef came out and checked everything.
Drinks are like everywhere else in Egypt. Powdered coffee, but you could buy custard coffee in the cafe.
There is no separate children's menu. This is stated on the hotel website.
I can’t say anything about the animation, because we didn’t go to the evening show, we saw the animators, they called for exercises, aqua aerobics, darts, ping-pong.
The hotel has a free sauna and jacuzzi, they ask you to sign up for a specific time, as cleaning and water changes are being carried out. I recommend bargaining for spa services.
From neighboring Concord, you can take a minibus for $ 1 per person to the old city, and for 2 you can negotiate and get a ride to Hadaba. Moreover, they will take it back for the same 2 dollars. Taxi will be more expensive.
The only caveat is that in the dining room there are vacationers without masks, the staff does not make comments. But as I understand it, even if they did, it would be of little use)))

I was also amazed by the cleaners, one fine day of rest I went into the room and found the cleaner at work, decided to give him a chocolate bar, to which he answered me that he did not eat chocolate because he had bad teeth, I gave him a dollar, he took it twisted and asked me to change it, since it is 2000 and they do not accept such.
Let's move on to animation, for the first two days I thought that there was no animation at all in this hotel, I saw only a DJ and then he became not interested in him after I refused him a trip to a paid disco twice, after a couple of days animation appeared, but I can’t say that she is strong, because apart from going with us to a paid disco and morning competitions, I didn’t hear anything from them.
Of the pluses I can highlight compared to other hotels, this is the fact that in the Hilton Wi-Fi catches not only on the lobby, but also on the pool and the beach, which is really cool for Egypt.

Therefore, when we waited for the tickets, and went to the restaurant, we were informed that they were already closing and we could not have dinner. So for dinner at the New Year's Eve gala dinner, we had Sprite and cola at our table. Local alcohol was at a small bar, which is also not easy to break into. The concert is more or less good. But our New Year's dinner turned out to be shawarma, which we went to buy in Soho, since it's nearby.
But the shortcomings are not over. January 1st is my wife's birthday! Guess how the hotel reacted. . . ???
That's right: no way!! ! Although I personally approached and reminded of this and I was assured that there would be a compliment from the hotel in the evening (thanks Hilton), you are the worst in my memory, with such an attitude....
I absolutely did not conflict all suffered in myself. But I decided to write a review. . .

It could only be compared with Turkey, in which we rested several times. We read, saw enough about the peculiarities of holidays in Egypt, were ready for the worst. I understood this - that this is a desert, that any "five" is worse than the "troika" in other countries, that unsanitary conditions, peculiar food, and so on.
I chose from several hotels in a windless bay (after all, this is December). I stopped at the Hilton Sharks Bay Resort 4, the price was too attractive (for 6 nights they paid 19600 UAH for two). At this time, when there was a full house in Egypt, the prices just went through the roof! The reviews were very different, but they took a chance...
And frankly, I was struck by the hotel and Egypt itself. On the good side. . .
It turns out that Hilton Sharks Bay Resort 4 consists of two hotels (I didn’t find this information anywhere). I read that there is a second line... But it is "already across the road", though not very active. Like, for example, the Concord hotel chain or the Savoy and Sierra.
The photo that we see on the site was taken from the second line and the most impressive view is with a large pool and the Sinai mountains. You can use the infrastructure of both hotels, except for the main restaurant.
From the second line you can clearly hear the takeoffs of planes, since the airport is located nearby.
Fortunately for us (me and a friend who was vacationing in the Hilton advised) we were settled in a hotel on the first line, you can even see the sea from the balcony (they took the standard), literally go down to the beach past a couple of buildings. And the buildings in the Hilton in Egypt are not the same as in the Hilton in Kyiv...
These are two-story houses with only a few rooms and each has its own personal exit to the street.
As for the Internet. It is not only in the lobby, but also in the rooms, and on the beach, on the street near the hotel, and even on the road, to which there is a ten minute walk from the hotel (local minibuses stop there). Internet speed is good.
We brought a lot of chocolate, I read that the Egyptians love it and everywhere they almost extort chocolate or a dollar. So, in our case and in our hotel this is not so. No one asked for anything, they were rather reluctant to take it (neither chocolate nor the dollar had any effect on our cleaner: cleaning was done, water was put on, towels were changed regularly. But the swans did not spin... ).
Where they were happy with our chocolate, it was on a sightseeing trip - "Five in One in Dahab". We treated the local kids there, they jumped for happiness. I can also say that neither the tour guide nor the driver asked for the money to be put in a box on the bus (this is how they do it in Turkey: “Thank the driver for driving you and being responsible for your safety”), here I didn’t notice this at all.
At the same time, the Egyptians are very friendly, cheerful, joking with our usual jokes and asking: "How are you, are you all right? "
By the way, the hotel guide from Anex Tour was pleasant and cheerful, gave information for about an hour, left his phone, handed out leaves to sign. We didn’t sign (from the reviews I knew that I didn’t need to sign them, there’s a catch on insurance, be careful yourself).
The beach offered regular excursions, diving, but very unobtrusively.
The animation by the pool is working hard all day: we saw a lot of activities, but we didn’t manage to participate, our entire vacation was already planned, we wanted to embrace the immensity more.
The staff in Russian is weakly speaking, but on the fingers and with the help of English words you can understand each other. Cooks do not spare food, impose a lot of everything, no need to ask.
From the very early morning, the pools are cleaned at the hotel, the sun loungers are washed, the territory is cleaned, the bushes are cut, the windows are washed! The "lazy Egyptian" rustles...
Although I am writing a review about the hotel, I think that it makes sense to include information about the convenience of moving to different places from the hotel and locations nearby.
The location is good: nearby, literally two hotels down the illuminated street with shopping arcade Soho Square, that is, you can always take a walk. We also went to the Old City (Bazaar), Naama Bay and shopping in Nabq Bay. Oh, and a full day tour.
All promenades can be reached by taxi from the hotel ($15 Old Town), by taxi from the street (cheaper, they say) or by the local blue minibus. We chose a minibus, thanks to the video of some bloggers - I wanted to taste the local flavor and get a new experience.
Minibuses run along the main road, you need to walk a little to it from the Concord Hotel towards the airport (towards the roar of aircraft) along a well-lit path. We intuitively found it, and you will find it. Everything is simple here - the road, hotels and the desert... For locals it costs 5-6 pounds, they have their own tariff for tourists, I repeat - 1 dollar per person. It is important to ask the price, otherwise they may take two. They stop everywhere, they pick everyone up. It is interesting that in Egyptian minibuses there are no foul-smelling people, as we have in the evening after work. It's all in the flavors!
We also went to the Daria store in Nabq, they sent a taxi for us, they took us there and back for free.
Also from our hotel at 16.45 there is a free minibus to George Clooney and brings back. But even without all these shopping centers, there is enough shopping here on every corner, you will not be left without gifts. And it’s better to ask the price first, everything is almost the same, and it’s better to make purchases closer to the end of the holiday - except for the mask, of course. On the very first day, we bought me a mask for $ 10 on Soho, my husband had his own.
There were practically no mosquitoes, probably they were poisoned, in the evening a characteristic smell was heard, flies three times smaller than ours, there are flies on the beach during the day, but they do not bite, but tickle.
The food is good and varied. Roll out full, I don’t understand the phrase: “You won’t stay hungry. ” What do you people eat at home?? ! Enough and fruits, and vegetables, meat, fish, sweets. For the first time I tried falafel, which is not in every "five" is. Squids, crabs, though not every day... Natural juice, not "yupi", a little diluted, and so it's better than drinking thick. Tea, instant coffee, with milk like cappuccino, not bad at all. I am a coffee lover, and even then I didn’t suffer from the lack of brewed coffee at all... I won’t say much about alcohol, they drank red wine, it’s good for meat, we didn’t try the rest of the assortment. There are many. Usually we came at the end of the meal, everything was enough! Dishes were regularly brought, there were no queues, well, maybe three or five people occasionally for something special. There were enough tables for everyone. Cutlery and napkins were taken by ourselves in the allotted place. The dishes are clean, tea was poured into cups, then into paper cups. Why so, was not interested. The reef deserves a separate review! Super! Super! Yes, it was my first time, I have no experience, but snorkeling was included on a trip to Dahab - on the wild coast of the Red Sea with furious wind and current... Yes, the reef is huge, but not as bright as near our hotel. And my opinion is that the reef near the Hilton hotel is more colorful, more interesting, there are much more fish there. And if you swim a little towards the hotel under construction, then it’s even more picturesque... A strong wind blew for several days, but our pontoon was not closed, you could swim safely. The return flight is at 22:00, which means that we leave the rooms at 12:00 and wait for our transfer until 18:00. I was very worried about food and pastime. Everything turned out to be just perfect! Bracelets, as in some other hotels, no one cut off.
By 12 they handed over cards (from the door and on beach towels), things were taken to the storage room, leaving the most necessary things. We swam more, calmly went for lunch, then lay around the pool and drank coffee in the Barracuda restaurant, admiring the beautiful scenery for a snack (everything is free). Everyone smiles and wishes you a happy journey. Although the staff all look the same to me (black Europeans), but it feels like I visited a loving family...
Of course, there are downsides. And I will write about them. For example, there is nowhere to dry clothes, although there are balconies. In this case, I have a rope in my bag - "you can't drink away experience. " The sun loungers on the beach "want" to be updated, I noticed that they cannot withstand a lot of weight, and "there should be a lot of a good person. " The shower was poorly drained, the water was slowly leaving.
It’s even reluctant to write about such things, but who will believe me that everything is perfect?
And finally, I want to say: it was my subjective opinion, I was more than satisfied with my stay at the Hilton Sharks Bay Resort 4 hotel.

5. The staff - all friendly, cleaned every day, twisted different animals from towels for us, left water, coffee, sugar. We left the guy for the candy bar cleaner. Bartenders, chefs, administration. Everything was wonderful and welcoming. Before that, we had read cool stories that someone was given little food or a cocktail seemed to be torn from the heart. We didn't have anything like that. We got the nicest people. And they rustle all over the territory - they clean, remove garbage, take care of plants.
6. Animation - we are not on these matters, we went to watch the fish and cool off with drinks by the pool, but the guys tried hard there. Every day they invited us to darts, then to water aerobics, then to yoga. There was some activity going on there. On the 1st line they played water volleyball. There is nothing special for children, it seems to me that this hotel is more suitable for adults.
7. Bars - everything is standard for Egypt, juices like Yuppies and Egyptian alcohol. There was also beer. In the evening there was wine, but in the dining room. Pour into plastic glasses or paper, if you take with you. They gave 2-4 drinks per hand for our couple, there were no problems with this.
8. Arabs - everyone is excited by the presence of the local population. When we arrived, 80% of the hotel were Arabs. Maybe we got the intelligentsia, but we did not interfere with each other at all. In the dining room a couple of times one of them climbed out of line, but the cook told them to get in line. I didn't tell the kids, but I don't mind. I was given the same good pieces as everyone else. In general, we did not feel racism towards ourselves. In the pool, we rode down the hill with them, there were a lot of young people. To be honest, we were more struck by our cattle, we had a Spanish shame. After 3 days, almost all the Arabs left and the Russians settled. But even here it was quiet, calm. Tagil did not come to this hotel, and thank God.
9. Guide - went to a meeting, took a price list for excursions, but booked elsewhere cheaper. They also took the guide's phone number, it came in handy on the last day, when there was no schedule for the transfer for a long time. The guide did not dominate us and did not force us to buy anything. He slipped some paper in which we allegedly have to sign that if we order excursions elsewhere, insurance does not apply to us and we agree with this. But we didn't sign it, we just left.
10. Internet - free Wi-Fi in the lobby. He reached right up to the room, to the balcony. I also fished all over the place. There is another wi-fi that can be connected in the room, but you will pay for it later. We had enough free, which reached the balcony.
11. Entertainment - in the evening Soho 5 minutes away, they took mangoes and sweets there. Mango $2 green, $3 red. We ate them and brought them home. We didn’t buy anything else, so we don’t believe in the power of oils, the souvenirs there are all Chinese rubbish, I just don’t know how to choose towels and the locals will cheat me, what else to take there? Medicines? I don't know much about it either, and I don't want to.
There is a minibus from Soho to the old town. We traveled, got a lot of impressions from a trip on local public transport.
In the evening we went to the Barracuda restaurant on the territory of the Hilton, ate shrimp. We lit a candle for romance, the shrimp were so beautifully preserved, and how delicious it was.
