Let's just say I don't have a lot of experience traveling in Egypt. Had the experience of staying at Albatros Palace in Hurghada in December but these are incomparable levels. So I will try to simply state the situation in the hotel:
Overall impression - the hotel is in a big economy mode.
1. Check-in - in principle, they will check in early (we stopped at 8, settled already at 9), but the bracelet is only from 11 in the morning (you will be left without breakfast, lunch from 13:30)
2. The number of rooms - there are first and second lines, on the second all the rooms are newer, on the first one selectively, I can only say that the 300th rooms are already tired, I lived in the 600s (this is the first line all) it is already quite normal there. Good air conditioning system in the room.

3. Room service - it all depends on the building I think. I had a very friendly cleaner. For $1 a day, you get plenty of water, hygiene products, and some really cool towel shapes. (again, I think it depends on the specific block). Since it was possible to compare rooms - know that you can ask for a kettle and tea and coffee in the room, it happens that not all rooms have this.
4. Food - the choice is rather modest, there are always queues for food (the staff imposes food, I won’t say that they work very briskly). There will be a standard set - rice, potatoes, goulash or chicken, salads, soup. Sweets are quite interesting, most likely the hotel just buys them. Fruit. At lunch, for some reason, they turn off the air conditioner in the room (I have a suspicion that no one stays too long). They try to clean the tables, but again, not briskly. It can be seen that the staff is not spoiled with tips (I think due to the level of the hotel's budget, few people give tea) and just work. I have an elderly woman with me (I don’t want to breed anything, but it’s clear that the Russian woman yelled obscenities and sent the one who laid the food, but it’s always like that with people)
There is no children's table.
There are no snacks! food only from call to call. during the break you can only use drinks in bars.
5. Sea - I'm not a big fan of water, I dived twice. It seemed to me that the reef had already died, there were very few living creatures compared to the small reef in Hurghada (maybe I was unlucky in my swims? write your opinion about the reef at this hotel).
6. Pools - there is a small pool on the first line, it is better to go to the second one - there are large pools with slides and the atmosphere was more fun.
7. Bars - by the sea and by the pools. The choice is standard Egyptian, the rest is at extra charge. Beer Heineken seems to cost 4-6 dollars (such beer is poured for free in the Albatross of Hurghada). Either take some alcohol with you, or drink what you have if you are not particularly picky in this regard)

8. Sunbeds and umbrellas - a nightmare, just a unit. everything is old and dry by the pools. The chances that a deck chair will fall apart under you or an umbrella will curl up in your face are quite high. A sun lounger collapsed under me (I weigh 45 kg). It’s just terrible at the sea, there are almost no umbrellas on the first line of the coast (do you need to sit in the heat? ), Plastic sun loungers are simply broken, squeezed through (I think it should be a shame to exhibit this at all), it’s just disgusting.
9. There is no a la carte in the hotel)))
10. I won’t say much about animation, because I wasn’t interested in this moment. They dance with the children every evening.
11. Attention - there are already mosquitoes on the street. take SPRAY. There didn’t seem to be in the room, but you can also grab a fumigator
12. Internet - it is not like in all of Egypt. There is something weak in the lobby. Vodafone SIM cards for 20 gig were more than enough for a week (taking into account two days of work on a laptop). Internet is fast.
General advice: do not be lazy and, according to the latest reviews on the same TurPravda, choose another hotel, do not be guided by the words of tour operators. Or add a couple of thousand and choose something better. Even if you have an underestimated bar of requirements, like mine, it will be very difficult anyway.
It was even very embarrassing to somehow find out that people from Kazakhstan came to such a hotel (for Ukrainians, the price tag is still the lowest in Egypt and this is not so critical).
