Just returned from the Novotel Palm Hotel yesterday. I want to say that in Egypt for the 4th time and there is something to compare with. I liked the hotel. Large beautiful area, 3 pools - 2 of them are large and one is smaller and a little further from the restaurant.
Food: food is like everywhere in Egypt - breakfast is average, but wonderful pastries cover everything. Lunch and dinner at a decent level has always been: beef, fish and chicken, pasta rice and potatoes. plus vegetables and salads, baking cakes, not a lot of fruits - pears, apples, melons, dates, oranges, grapefruit - that's all that was in a week.
As for the beach - the beach is huge - 25 umbrellas in length under which there are 2 sunbeds and 3 full rows and in some places the continuation of the rows up to 5-7. There were always places, not on the first line, but on the second or third for sure. It takes exactly 7 minutes to go to the beach from the restaurant across the road and the territory of Novotel beach - I timed it so as not to deceive anyone, this is with the road crossing, where you have to stop to wait for the conductor to see you off across the road) (it’s a pity for him, he’s on his feet all day and there is no shade.

The overall impression is excellent.
There is a bar on the beach.
Check-in: nothing was required to settle in a better room. Instead of the standard, they gave a Femeli room immediately overlooking the pool.
The only negative that did not spoil the holiday - it's a safe! Sometimes it wouldn't open and sometimes it wouldn't close. But on the first call, they immediately came from the reception and fixed everything, the issue was immediately resolved, they didn’t even want to take a tip.
