We stayed in April and liked the hotel very much. I liked absolutely everything - the accommodation, the food, the territory, and the park area, but I was especially pleased with the children's slides in the pool and playgrounds (there are two of them - near the kids club and near the bar on the beach), as we rested with a child of 2.5 years . Before that, there were 2 times in Hurghada in 4 and in Turkey, but I like Egypt more because of the sea and oriental flavor. The hotel belongs to the Pickalbatros Hotels & Nile Cruises hotel chain and is called Royal Albatros Moderna (without Calimera). Resting mostly Germans (80%), a little English-speaking families with children, Italians, French, and quite a bit of ours. Accordingly, the service and maintenance at the hotel, who was in Egypt, understand what I mean. . . The hotel is clean, beautiful and well maintained. We were settled in a huge room without any additional payments, the room was clean, new, there was a plasma in the room, a kettle, cups, a safe, a refrigerator, a hairdryer. Shampoo, soap, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar, 1.5 liter bottle of water per person were replenished daily. They cleaned well, regardless of whether they left a tip or not. Food is almost around the clock, there are many restaurants, you can have a bite to eat somewhere at any time. For kids, it's just heaven. . In general, a lot of positive emotions, write and write. . . The cosmetic bag with medicines was not even opened, the child felt at home. The food is just super, I have not seen this in Egypt, ice cream is free at the beach bar and as much as you want, juices in bags and cocktails from them, well, everything is wonderful. There are 10 different slides in the children's pool, there are a lot of children, you can't get them out of the water, even such little ones (1.2-3 years old) rode the slides with pleasure. Regarding the sea, the beach is large, the pontoon is long, the sea is shallow 800 meters, but then, at the end of the pontoon, a coral reef of extraordinary beauty opens up! True, it is not always possible to swim from a pontoon - mainly because of the wind, almost all 10 days there was a black flag (swimming from a pontoon is prohibited). But we knew where we were going - the Nabq area is basically windy, and if we also consider that it is the last in Sharm and is not protected by anything (I mean bays), there is a desert behind the hotel fence and a very strong wind from the sea, then there is nothing surprising and guides this is warned that the sea there is very rarely calm. Moreover, outside the hotel there is a small supermarket with shops. So here everything is much cheaper than in the Oldmarket. The guides say that it is cheaper in Oldmaret, so we went shopping there, and there the prices are exorbitant compared to the prices in the shops near the hotel and they are reluctant to bargain, they know that everyone goes there and will buy, a taxi ride to the Oldmarket is 15 dollars, but they take you for 10 if you bargain. As a result, we bought only fruits there - strawberries 1 USD kg, mangoes 8 USD kg, bananas 1 USD kg, and then only because the child wanted to eat, and all other purchases (bag, suitcase, cotton, towels, tobacco, hookah) we bought later near the hotel. If we get a chance, we would love to go there again. Write, I will be glad if my review will help someone in choosing a hotel. Go safely and do not worry - the hotel is really worthy!
