Rested with a group of 6 adults + 1 child 15 years old.
We have long wanted to fly to warm countries in winter to a good hotel. And then the company gathered : ) We chose between the Albatros hotels in Hurghada and Sharm. After watching the video reviews, we decided to fly to the Albatros Modern in Sharm (I liked the hotel back in the summer, when they stopped by to drop off tourists from the excursion).
Departure from Zaporozhye. From the Dnieper (from the circus) to the airport of Zaporizhzhya was delivered free of charge two hours before departure (the return transfer to the Dnieper is also free). PCR test was done on the eve of departure. In connection with the quarantine measures for COVID-19, they were only allowed into the airport building in masks and after measuring the temperature. On the plane, they issued a questionnaire on COVID-19, which must be filled out and returned at the airport upon arrival. At Sharm airport, temperature measurement, PCR tests were looked at at the very end when leaving the airport.

ACCOMMODATION: From the airport the road took about 15-20 minutes. Arrived at the hotel after 18.00. Settled within 10 minutes.
Wi-Fi is free at the reception, in the rooms - as lucky. In our room it was weak, but it was.
Vacationers: 30% - Ukrainians, 30% - Belarusians, 30% Kazakhs, 10% - the rest.
Room: The room was cleaned well and every day, regardless of whether we left the "van dollar" or not. Every day, water was brought to the room, tea / coffee, soap and shower gels were replenished. The room is spacious and bright, well renovated. Were in a room with friends - they seem to have been recently renovated: a shower panel, other beds, etc.
Huge territory, beautiful and well-groomed. Large heated pool, also heated pool with children's water park. Minigolf, water polo, water park for children and adults - everything is present : )
Animation: quite decent. Compared to other Egyptian hotels that have been so just great animation. Lots of small pools and indoor "courtyards" throughout the hotel. We could plunge into a small pool directly from the terrace. Therefore, everyone will find for themselves a quiet and cozy place or noisy and cheerful.
FOOD: good varied food. Lots of restaurants and a snack bar near the beach. Constantly several types of meat: chicken, beef, duck, turkey, local dishes, grilled dishes, pastries, fruits (strawberries, dates, oranges, etc. ). But for some reason, again there was little seafood.
Alcohol: in addition to light beer, there is rum, whiskey, vodka, locally produced tequila (nasty). All drinks were bottled: cola/fanta/sprite, beer and alcohol.
SEA: a chic pontoon bridge, although quite long. On the sides there are platforms with steps along which you can go down to the sea. At the end of the pontoon is a large area with tables and sun loungers. You can borrow masks and life jackets from the lifeguard. Going down the steps, you plunge into the beauty of the Red Sea (a coral reef that goes down to a depth of about 15 meters). Chaise lounges are of high quality with good mattresses on them, protected from the wind.

We were lucky with the weather: warm sea, +30 air temperature. In the evening it was possible to walk in shorts and a T-shirt, but mosquitoes seize (except for a few days when it was cool in the evening).
The wind was usually in the first half of the day (a red flag hung before lunch). Special footwear is highly recommended (rocks, corals, and sea urchins).
Souvenirs: went to the Old City and bought souvenirs there. This time, instead of a taxi, we took a minibus for $1 per person. The lack of seafood in the hotel was compensated by a trip to the Fares Seafood fish restaurant. The average check turned out to be about $15 per person.
Honey, halvah, teas, etc. bought in a supermarket (you can look at the goods, the prices are lower and you immediately see how much you have to pay).
EXCURSIONS: We took a tour from a hotel guide for $45 per person - riding a whole day on a yacht with diving and snorkeling. We also dined on the yacht. It was possible to go to Cairo + pyramids for $95 per person. But the tour is tedious and takes in fact more than a day.
SUMMARY: Impression about the rest 10 (to get from winter to summer is something), about the hotel 10. Total 10.
