So we returned, as threatened in this hotel. This time, neither the sharks nor the revolution prevented us. Since we were traveling with a child, we didn’t want to take risks, we chose the proven Albatross and it didn’t let us down! : ) Since the last visit (1.5 years ago), it has only gotten better. Built a water park for
adults, palm trees grew up, slides were added in the children's pool, coffee machines appeared in restaurants (instead of cans of instant coffee) and our favorite corner appeared, a coffee bar with a charming bartender who every time played with our baby and treated him to a cookie. In general, the visiting card of this hotel is a polite, friendly, unobtrusive, tactful, attentive and executive staff (which is surprising and rare for Egypt). Food for every taste, they are fed almost around the clock, and whoever says that it is monotonous and left hungry is blatantly lying or just an eternally dissatisfied tourist. By the way, who didn’t have enough fruit? (Invariable dates for Egypt, bananas, oranges, grapefruits, melons, guava, grapes, pomegranates, apples) - is this not enough for you? Or do you have more at home? : ) We take into account that 90% of Egypt is desert and enjoy what 10% of its territories gives. As for the rooms (if you don’t like the floor or the view): don’t even approach the guides with this request, they have some kind of unhealthy rivalry with the receptionists, and they categorically forbid giving them money, claiming that the hotel is full and there are no rooms available. They lie blatantly! Come to the reception, a couple of phrases in English, a smile, 20 bucks and you will be placed in a great room (not on the 1st floor) with a sea view. The animation has improved and revived compared to our last visit. The pontoon did not become shorter, the wind, as usual in the nabka, was present until lunch, but the reef was wonderful, the fish had not gone away, there were more of our compatriots and "gas thieves" who hung children's panties on my sunbed to dry, but God bless them, this is not a rest spoil it)) For lovers of scuba diving, we want to inform you that it makes no sense to take dives from hotel guides allegedly in Ras Mohamed (and there is nothing to do in Tirana, actually), in reality you will be lowered 2 kilometers from the port where at the bottom you will see a couple lone corals and a flock of fish frightened by teapot divers. Feel free to take dives in the hotel diving center, it is cheaper and the local reef is more interesting. Room service is top notch. Cleaned cleanly, daily replenishment of drinking water, tea, coffee and other devices. And this hotel is also unique in that you can easily drag food from the restaurant, drink, dishes into the room and no one will say a word to you. The hotel, of course, has disadvantages in the location, such as - unfinished next door, windy nabq, remoteness from the center and a long pontoon, but its advantages in terms of service and quality of service outweigh these trifles in general. If you are going to Egypt for a quiet, quality family vacation, you have a direct road to Albatross. This is the best, for a very reasonable price, by the way.
