Second time in Egypt. You can already compare what is with what. The first time we were in Hurghada in Desert Rose and this time we ventured to go with children to Sharm (many say that there is nothing to do with children at all and sharks are rampant).
So we went to the Albatros Moderna hotel. The hotel, it seems there is an Italian owner, if I don’t confuse anything. 80% of foreigners and 20% of ours are from the post-Soviet countries, but this is for the better, the service is better, and even this Tagil was not calmer.
Now, in order, we arrived at 16-00 settled, I would not say that it was very fast, when settling we gave 10 USD at the reception, but according to rumors, the fee is from 60 to 150 USD, but despite this, it’s not a fact that they will give chic room without a hitch. Our room was not very bad, although with a view of the dome (in short, to see the views of Sharm and the panorama of the water park, you had to stand on tiptoe), but this did not upset us in the room, we only spent the night and the view was not so important to us. True, the safe did not work in our room and the ladder in the bunk bed was broken, for 2 euros everything was done with lightning speed.

The territory is large, beautiful, clean, a very good children's water park with 8 slides, and the water park for adults was nothing.
The beach is a bummer! Pontoon 600 meters of sun loungers on the pontoon is not enough. The beach itself is dirty with walking camels and, to put it mildly, a shallow maximum below the knee. In short, you need to smell about 500 meters before the first entrance to the sea (you can swim with children there, at high tide there to the waist, the bottom is rocky, slippers for children are necessary). At the end of the pontoon you can see marine life and it is quite deep there.
Diverse food is not bad enough, I would even say that it is good (compared to the Desert Rose hotel in Hurghada, even royal) Restaurants: Italian, Thai, Turkish, two of some European ones, Fish Sushi bar (for a fee). I pay special attention to coffee lovers there is a paradise. Three coffee bars with plump coffee and ice cream.
Animation is pretty good, though the kids club is only for English speakers, but the evening children's animation with translation into Russian and funny children liked it. For adults, there is also something to do, contests and various shows for free, unlike the previously visited Desert Rose Hotel in Hurghada, it can be said that it was not there at all.
Service - you either need to smile very kindly or a dollar bath will save you. I can tell the Russian part of the population or a cocktail of hello pushes or pour it into a plastic container can even turn on ignore.
Now the overall ratings: from 1-5
Hotel in general-4
Nutrition-5
Animation-5
Number 4
Maintenance-3
Beach-3
I forgot about the main thing, a huge minus with towels you have to drag to the beach, they don’t have cards and change them in the room, they need to be thrown on the floor and then maybe they will be changed or catch an uncle who cleans the body.
Despite the shortcomings, I would go to this hotel again, for that kind of money and even with not quite perfect service, there is simply nothing to do in Crimea.
