Hey! I would like to share my impressions of my vacation! I had a rest with my boyfriend in mid-August 2009 from the airline Mostrevel. We flew to Egypt for the first time, before that we were abroad only in Croatia. As soon as we left the airport after filling out numerous questionnaires, we immediately felt this climate inherent in Egypt: such heat and stuffiness that it is impossible to convey in words, only to feel it for yourself. But this is good! I really wanted the sun, especially with such and such weather, as in Moscow. The Egyptians immediately showed themselves, they are very sociable, friendly, smiling, with a sense of humor. They can just go up to a stranger and talk - do not be surprised. We got from the airport to the hotel fairly quickly. On the bus, we were entertained by an Egyptian guide with his jokes and gags (to be honest, he conquered us with his humor, not everyone can do that. He sets us up for rest right away). Along the way, other tourists were brought to hotels, and compared with the hotels we visited, of course, Crowne Plaza stands out, which also greatly cheered us up. At the reception they quickly issued (by the way, no matter what anyone said, but Katerina from the reception is completely normal, adequate, explained everything, showed). We were taken to the room in a small car (I fell in love with it, it gives me great pleasure). And now everything is in order, otherwise so many thoughts come into my head, I'm afraid to confuse both myself and you : )

1) Number. Very good. Before flying to this particular hotel, I read the reviews and already understood how and what was happening there. In general, you need to fly there using the Ultra I wish system and from such well-known airlines as Mostrevel, Teztur or some other. If everything is so, then they should give you a good room, close to the sea, and they will settle you right away, you don’t have to wait 12 hours. And so there are a lot of numbers, from 1 to 8 four-digit number. We started with 1. Naturally, if you get some 8632, then there will be enough negative reviews. There are positives everywhere though. For example, such a room has a close reception and a dining room. Well, the room has everything you need: comfortable beds, a TV with two Russian channels, a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool and even the sea (lucky : )), bathroom (although they were waiting for a shower, but here it is), air conditioning, which is not unimportant at such and such a temperature. They cleaned every day, changed towels, swept, made the bed, etc. There are no quibbles.
2) Nutrition. Of course, flying there for such a ridiculous price, they did not expect anything supernatural. The first days were all happy. Then this monotony became a little annoying, almost nothing changed. But they didn’t go hungry : ) And they didn’t get poisoned (you need to watch what you take. It’s better to just cut vegetables, not salads, since there are the same vegetables, but yesterday). Very good pastries (it was very important for me as a sweet tooth): a large number of cakes, pastries, cookies. There are almost no fruits, except for bananas and dates, which grow on the territory of the hotel (once there were grapes and watermelon). But this did not spoil the impression, as the guide explained to us that it is very difficult and expensive to bring fruit to this area (only very rare hotels have their own planes and, accordingly, provide tourists with both fruits and fresh juices).
3) Service. Slightly unthinking. This place where we ate is called a restaurant, so they wanted to correspond to this status, however, it is not very successful yet, since there is no clear system of work. You get your own food. And the waiters, firstly, deliver drinks (you need to order in advance (as soon as you entered and took the table) what you need so as not to wait), secondly, they set the tables, and thirdly, they clear the tables. In general, they do not have time to do everything at once, so sometimes you can see queues near the entrance, and disgruntled tourists chasing poor Egyptians and asking for a spoon, a fork, or tea, etc. Here's what you need to be prepared for. Again, we were lucky or came at a time when there are free tables (only once they waited for us to be served).
4) Territory. Very big, well-groomed, beautiful. Lots of palms, flowers, beautiful trees. But there are also many steps, yes, as has been written many times before. But we lived close to the sea, so we only had to go up to the dining room. And it's even useful : )
5) Ultra I Wish system. Almost the same as All Inclusive. Upon arrival, you are given a set of documents, a room key, information about what is included in the Ultra I Wish package, etc. So, the following should be free for you:
a) a small bottle of water every day for one person
b) stocked minibar for a week
c) pastries, ice cream, sandwiches (at certain times) on the beach, drinks (Pepsi, 7up, mirinda, mineral water, juices, coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate, local beer, wine, whiskey, vodka, gin) on the beach and in restaurants (you also need to know the opening hours).
d) By vouchers: once a week you can go to 3 restaurants for free (Italian, Lebanese and fish). But more on that. To do this, you need to reserve a table in advance. On the second day of our vacation, hoping to somehow diversify our food, we went to reserve tables, but unsuccessfully. In restaurants (and in all) we were told that everything is occupied, there is only a place for our last day of rest. But there were always free places! Of course, I understand that it is more profitable for them to serve people who will pay for it. So this issue needs to be addressed immediately, do not delay. And we fought a little and scored on it: we reserved 2 restaurants for the last day, and we had one at 19:00 and the other at 21:00. Oooooh, it turned out so satisfying : ).
e) 3 times you can eat hamburgers / shawarma in a restaurant on the beach
f) 25% discount for room service. Also screwed up. Once we decided to order water in the room, but there was no discount for us! He simply did not know about this voucher. I don’t know and that’s it…you can of course sort things out, but we decided not to spoil our holiday and paid the full amount.
g) 25% discount to go to a restaurant on the beach. Haven't checked, maybe they don't know anything about it.
h) 2 laundry service vouchers for 8 items: laundry and dry cleaning. Things were handed over, everything was washed, stroked, only they themselves will not return things to you, you must definitely call, remind about yourself.
i) Go to the sauna/jacuzzi/steam room of your choice once. Well, we had a sauna and a steam room on the street : ) But about the jacuzzi, some Russians told us that they let girls in, but there are no men, it doesn’t work : )
j) 1 x 15 minutes neck and shoulder massage. They say it's very good, it relaxes, although so little. By appointment.
k) 25% discount for diving center services.
l) And of course breakfast, lunch, dinner (buffet).
It is completely unprofitable to take the package just I wish, since much becomes inaccessible. According to our system, there is nowhere to spend money, except for excursions and tips (do not forget to give a dollar to the cleaner, waiter, etc. ).

There are also contests such as Mr. , Mrs. Crowne Plaza, dance competition, guess the tune. Quite fun, especially when you realize that most of the audience in the restaurant are Russians! : ) But in fact, we were just so lucky. We arrived at a time when there was a mass settlement of Russians. And so after our departure there were very few of them left. On the contrary, the Italians settled en masse. There is also a disco where you can go after the competitions. But there are usually few people and very few people dancing. But you can have a good time in a good company, get yourself free drinks until 24:00 and enjoy the music : ) Some people go to the city to the Pasha disco.
7) Excursions. Quite expensive. Although who cares. We only went on the Super Moto tour. They were satisfied. It starts after 16:00, so the sun is not so scorching. This is a trip on ATVs (on your own) to the desert, and with extreme sports, as some of them simply did not have one of the brakes working (like ours : )). Approximately 45 minutes drive. Then camel riding, also a fun act, especially when you ask a Bedouin to take a picture of you (well, half a face can work if you're lucky : )) or ask for help getting off the camel (requires a dollar in return, he won't miss his too). Then we are seated under tents and told about the Bedouins, their customs and practices, how they live. Entertain with Egyptian national dances. Dinner, there is an opportunity to smoke a hookah. And after 21:00, when it is already dark, the starry sky (not like in Moscow), again, already with the headlights on, you go back on ATVs. All this pleasure costs $45 (single), $70 (double). And so, of course, I really wanted to go to Cairo, but it costs $ 75 for one, by bus, it takes a very long time (6 hours or more) in the heat. In general, who is ready for what.
