Rested in this hotel from 08/30/2008 to 09/13/2008, for 14 days, tour operator NTK Intourist. O!! ! my dear, it was a wonderful holiday!! ! I really liked the Sierra hotel, this is my fourth time in Egypt and I have something to compare with.
The advantage of the hotel can be attributed to the fact that it is universal. It can rest and youth, and people of the older age group, and children. It all depends on the tourist himself: he wants peace and quiet - please, he wants discos and noisy companies - no question - he has a free Caligula disco in Savoy, or any other club in Naama Bay (animators took those who wished to Pasha for 20 euros) .

The beach is one for two hotels (Savoy and Sierra), medium in size (80-100 meters in length). There are always places. Has two pontoons. The corals are very beautiful, there are a lot of fish. Once a stingray swam. To the right of the Sierra pontoon, a moray eel was seen. Walk to the beach for about 8-10 minutes. For those who don't want to, a bus runs every half an hour. There is a bar on the beach where you can drink juices, wine, beer, tea or coffee, have a snack with french fries and flatbreads that look like hamburgers, but this is not for everyone (lunch in a restaurant is much tastier and more varied). Near the hotel there are several supermarkets selling souvenirs, masks, snorkels, flippers. Prices there are moderate, much no more expensive than in Naama Bay. True, masks cost from $25 apiece (for two - they bargained for $45), flippers from $20 (in Naama - both from $15, I didn’t go to the Old Town - I don’t know).
The hotel rooms are not too big, about 5 by 4 meters. It should be noted that among them there are rooms without a balcony overlooking the wall. At first we were settled in just such a room (5432), next to it was the kitchen of the restaurant. We asked our guide Ihab (NTK Intourist) to change our room. The next day at 15:00 we had another room on the ground floor overlooking the patio-garden (6446). He got us at no extra charge. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised by our guide. He did not seek to sell me by hook or by crook excursions. He told a lot about Egypt, its geographical features, the life of the Egyptians, gave free tickets to a club in Naama Bay.
The hotel has a lot of vacationers from England, Russia, Italy. There are tourists from Ukraine. I didn't see any Germans or French. There is a free hotel bus to Naama Bay. You need to sign up for it the day before. There is an indoor pool, which is good to spend time in the heat of the day. There is a gym in the same room as the pool, I saw treadmills, some exercise equipment in it, I'm not very interested in it, so I noted for myself only the presence of a gym.
The rooms are cleaned well. Bed linen is changed every 3 days. The staff is friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food: yogurt, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, pastries, kebab, chicken barbecue, chicken in batter, stewed vegetables, stewed beef, fish, pasta, potatoes, salads (tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant... ) , sauces, cakes, packaged juices (delicious: mango, guava, tomato, orange, apple, pineapple), draft wine, ice cream…. just do not remember hungry will not stay. The waiters in the restaurant serve somewhat slowly - but this is not a problem, if you are persistent and say your wishes in a confident tone, then they bring everything quickly.

On the beach in the morning and afternoon, the animators will do gymnastics with you, play games for reaction speed (you catch a stick while the animator distracts you with conversations), bowling football (you knock down bottles with sand with a volleyball), volleyball, darts, teach Latin dances. In the evening, you can choose from: sing karaoke, watch an animation show (which has never been repeated in two weeks), listen to live songs in the hall (every day), admire Egyptian belly dance or tanura (near the main restaurant 2 or 3 times a week)
Children in this hotel are also busy: their leisure is provided in the mini-club during the day and in the evening - at the children's disco.
In general, it must be said that the animation team at this hotel consists of cheerful and talented people. In total - 12 people. Of these, 1 is English, 1 is Russian, 1 is Egyptian, the rest are Italians. Animation is mainly in English and Italian, where required - Russian translation is given. Animated shows were of several types: competitions, comedy skits, musicals, dance lessons. At competitions and comedy scenes, people laughed heartily and to tears. The musicals were famous musicals performed by animators. If the songs were under the plywood, then the dances were live. We must pay tribute to the acting abilities of the animators. Their performances were interesting and captivating. Dance lessons in the evenings are just a fountain of enthusiasm and fun. Here they danced what they taught during the day on the beach and showed new movements. Many thanks to the animation team: Lidia, Valentina, Giovani, Paco, Emma, ​ ​ Sasha, animation chief and all the other guys. They are true professionals and turn the stay of tourists in the hotel into a bright holiday.
I am not a supporter of trips to the same hotel, but I would gladly go to Sierra again. It is very good there, and it seems that they are waiting for you.
