Before the trip, we read advice on which rooms should not be taken categorically, indeed, the windows of rooms starting with 5xxx look out onto a construction site enclosed by a fence. Moreover, the way to the pools and the beach lies through the reception. After studying the territory, we concluded: numbers 2xxx and 3xxx are the most interesting. The rooms are of an average level, they are also cleaned averagely (a dead mosquito hung on the mirror for 3 days), the bed is changed every 2 days. The road to the beach takes 10-15 minutes for well-fed guests (they are fed for slaughter, varied, but they didn’t learn how to cook beef : )), through the territory of Savoy, it’s beautiful. To whom it seems far away - a bus goes to the beach, as much as 200 meters every 30 minutes. There is a bar on the beach, by the time of lunch they give different burgers, pita and all that, so you can go to the hotel for lunch and not run. The beach is excellent, the corals are not bad, the fish come often, there is something to see.
Tours. The first thing I want to say is that the guide from Anex in the Sierra is a slob. It is impossible to catch him, and even more so to present something. He talks colorfully about excursions, but in the end everything is not so great. On the first excursion (the Church of St. Catherine-Tsv. Canyon) I got a very good Egyptian guide (Nadir) NOT from Anex, so the memories of her are the most pleasant. The rest of the tours (Abu Galum, Cairo) suck, squeezing money out of tourists was given more attention than sightseeing. "Jeep desert safari" means flying around the cabin of 8 people in the back of the jeep. A trip to Jerusalem - more or less, although the Aneks guide promised the Jordan River in the program, but the Jewish guide said that this was not included in our program.
In general, Sierra is a decent hotel, you can come and relax, carefully choosing a travel agent; )
