We rested in this hotel from February 11 to February 18.2010. I liked it very much! Impressions were only positive, despite the small nuances. Let me start by saying that we were very lucky with the weather! Every day it got warmer and warmer. During the day it was 30 degrees. The sea is warm. In the evening, probably about 20 degrees. You could walk freely in short sleeves and T-shirts. Everyone says that in February in Egypt the season of winds, but we had a wind of 2 days and then not strong and not cold. The locals said that such weather is absolutely not characteristic of February. And that 5 days before our arrival, everyone went in jackets and boots. Although I was in late February in Egypt 4 years ago and the weather was the same. Probably lucky : ) The corals near the beach are very good, a lot of fish, I advise everyone to take masks with snorkels and swim only with them. Because without a mask, you can even accidentally swim onto the reef and get scratched. We saw a lot of different fish. The territory of the hotel is green, beautiful, well-groomed. We swam in the pool 2 times, mostly in the sea. Rested 80 percent - the British, the remaining 20 - it's Russian, Ukrainians and other foreigners. There were few youth. Minus - the lack of evening animation programs, shows. The staff is very unobtrusive, disciplined! No one bothers, does not devour with eyes, does not call the number, as is the case in many hotels. The beach is not far. You can either take a couple of minutes on a free bus or walk for 7 minutes through the beautiful territory of the Savoy Hotel. Another plus is Saho Square. Many shops, cafes, disco. Now for the cons. Of course, they put us right away in the worst room with a view of the construction site and a terrible smell. We asked to be relocated. They did not immediately respond to us, but in the end they offered us a choice of 2 rooms. And we chose another, which was much better. We gave a 5 bucks tip. The staff was freezing for the first few days. Then, when we became familiar and made a normal impression, we became helpful. Animation is weak. During the day, gymnastics, aqua aerobics, dancing, yoga are carried out. Almost no foreigners participate in this, only Russians, and there are not many who want to. But in the evening there is nothing entertaining. Only at 23:00 disco. In general, the holiday went well, everything you need was. If someone wants chic, then you should go to the top 5, for example, to Savoy. Although very often they are not better in many respects. I would visit Sierra again.
