Last Christmas we stayed at this hotel. I liked absolutely everything! We were sure that this is our FAVORITE hotel! It was a lot of fun! We ate every evening on Soho in different restaurants, swam, swam... 8 days flew by like one.
This year we wanted the same Christmas holiday and we, without a moment's hesitation, in advance, in the month of September, book Sierra 5 at a not small price and dream of a Merry Christmas!!!
For a whole year, Savoy Group congratulated us on the holidays, sent us information about bonuses when visiting hotels again. We were sure that this year they would accommodate us even better and treat us like their regular guests!
Here is what we got in order-

We had a late arrival and we were sure that they were waiting for us, they prepared a room and we would immediately go to dinner, but it wasn’t there, it turns out on the contrary, by 19-00 the best rooms are occupied and we just have to choose the best of what is . By 19-00, not a single room was ready for us - we were shown only a room for two, and there were three of us. A year ago, and all year, the hotel administration promised us an increase in the level of the room, but in fact they received a downgrade. The receptionist offered us to upgrade the room for $30 per day.

I didn’t want to spoil my holiday, so we clenched our teeth, settled in, went to dinner and rest. This year we had only 6 days and we wanted to have a great vacation.
Like last year, we booked meals with dinners in restaurants in Soho, but here we were in for a surprise and ruined almost the entire vacation! It turned out that there is no such food since September, but since. We managed to pre-book, then it relies. It seems to be good and we are the only ones in the hotel with red bracelets, but it’s not so simple... they don’t wait for us in restaurants anywhere, they give one menu, then another, they’re not even going to pour a glass of water for free... but we’re all for it paid and according to the terms of this meal, we can not go after the hotel restaurant. In general, full of horror, scandals and spoiled mood for the next three evenings. We turned to the chief manager of the hotel, Mustafa, and he promised to sort it out. The next day, too, it was not without a spoiled mood, but from a Japanese restaurant they called the hotel reception and accidentally got to the Gastrolation girl, who was in the know and translated our conversation with Mustafa. We had a wonderful dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The subsequent wonderful evenings were due to the girls of Gastrolation, who personally took us to restaurants and everything was on top! A big THANK YOU to them!!!
In general, the entire hotel staff (except for the receptionists and animators) are great FELLOWS!! ! In Siera, the best of all the hotels where we were in Egypt, the workers - in the restaurant, in the rooms, gastronation, security !! ! Nobody asks for a tip - if you leave it, it's good, if you don't leave it - it won't affect the quality of cleaning and service.

If you drive out with a filthy broom the greedy rednecks at the reception, who only have dollars in their heads, and not the prestige of the hotel, who are ready to watch for half a day how small children suffer on sofas near them, hoping that their parents will get tired and bring 50 dollars, or even more for early check-in and specially settled in a barn in order to offer the best for an extra charge...
If you drive out mediocrity - animators, of which a couple of people work, and the rest rest in the hotel and hang out drunk in clubs until late at night (why do they pour alcohol with white bracelets at all? ). The main work of animators on the beach - they go and offer to write a review, and don't worry, relax, we'll write it ourselves, just give the phone... Fun? Read the reviews about the hotel - where the animators are praised - they wrote, and where the name of the animator is specifically indicated - he wrote. The only hotel on our list where the animators write their own reviews and every day on the beach! It would be better to really entertain people. After all, Siera has always been famous as a youthful cheerful hotel!
We will not come to this hotel again, but maybe someone will not be disappointed and will come again and again.
Despite the spoiled vacation, I put a good rating on the hotel, because excellent food, cleaning, territory, there are renovated rooms, a heated pool, Pantone improved, Soho is nearby, a cozy bay.
The hotel is really nice, but to clean up some snotty employees a bit and deal with food concepts.
Unfortunately, we will not rest here anymore, but will look for other hotels, but when we come to walk around Soho, we will remember Siera only from the best side, although we will not advise.
