We rested in Sierra with a guy from January 19 to 26. In Egypt for the 3rd time, before that I also rested in Sharm: Albatross aqua park, Faraana. I liked the hotel, I recommend it to everyone!
Confused by the proximity to the airport, but it turned out that this is generally a trifle. Airplanes flew very often, but only the largest ones were heard, but it did not interfere at all. When planes flew overhead in Naama, there was much more noise. On the contrary, it was interesting to watch the takeoff and arrival of airplanes.
The weather, the first few days, was cool, with a breeze, cold in the evening! Arrived at the hotel right after the rain, so understandable. The room was cold for the first few days, then fine. In the evening, in the bars on the street, heating pads are turned on, near which it is very comfortable to sit.

The food is normal, a lot of different dishes, fruits, sweets, we ate as much as we could)) The most delicious dish that I remember was red fish baked in dough! Soups - not very good, not like ours) There were no problems with the stomach. Many write that it is not necessary to take cocktails with ice, I don’t know, they took it, everything is fine. Very tasty juices! My favorites are mango and guava. Wine white, rose and red.
We sunbathed all days at the heated pool, because. the sea was closed, only up to the edge of the reef, in the shallows, it was possible to swim, there were not many who wanted to. On the penultimate day of rest, we fenced off a square at a depth near the pantone and hung a green flag, so we managed to swim a little. There are a lot of fish, a lot of large ones, but last year I liked Ras Um Sid Bay more, somehow it is brighter in terms of fish and corals.
Upon check-in, they give a brochure with useful information about the hotel and the all-inclusive system, what is free and what is not, what bars and restaurants, and their opening hours.
In the evenings, we spent time in the bar by the fountain, watching performances and performances by artists, trying to send something via the Internet. Soho has "free Wi-Fi Internet", but in fact, one can say that it is not there)) Messages were sent only via mail (with great difficulty and very slowly) and on the facebook website. ICQ, Skype, in contact and classmates - you can forget about all this.
Every day we walked and took pictures in Savoy, very beautiful! But the Savoy Hotel seemed half empty to me, with construction from different sides, sometimes noisy.
We learned about the explosion at the airport right away, from the news on TV, it became somehow scary to fly, because after 2 days we had a flight to Domodedovo. Then there are these rallies and demonstrations in Egypt…
We went to Naama Bay 2 times, a free bus runs several times a day. Tortured clingy sellers! You can go shopping in Soho calmly, no one touches you, but everything is more expensive and there is less choice.
In general, the hotel is good, especially if you go with a group, but most likely I won’t go there the second time, because I want to visit other hotels.
