Good hotel. I recommend booking a room after renovation.

We rested in Sierra 5 * from November 6 to November 13.2022. It was at this time that the UN International Conference on Climate Change (Climate Change Conference, COP 27) was held in Sharm El Sheikh. Therefore, there were few vacationers, the beach and hotel pools were empty. But this did not affect the quality of the services provided: the shuttle bass to the sea went every 20 minutes. All bars, restaurant, swimming pools, spa area worked according to the schedule. Pleasantly surprised by the free, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and the beach.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, clean, a lot of trees and flowers. Very diligent and friendly staff who are always at work. Constantly wash, clean, trim. Thanks to the hotel manager Mohamed for the attention shown to us. In the restaurant, we were greeted daily with Rasha's invariable open smile, which even memorized everyone's preferences in order to please the guests.
At lunchtime, upon arrival from the sea, our room was cleaned and replenished: shampoo-conditioner, shower gel, cream, as well as water, tea, coffee, sugar (there is an electric kettle, cups, teaspoons and glasses in the room). Linen, bathrobes, towels in the room are in excellent condition, dazzling white. Unfortunately, the hair dryer is on its last legs, very old and weak.

Since the hotel participates in an environmental program to reduce the waste of water, light and other resources, guests have the right to determine when to change towels: we put dirty towels on the edge of the sink and brought clean ones to us.
The food is quite varied: in the main restaurant as a buffet. Despite the predominance of local cuisine, it was always possible to pick up something less peppery-salty. Fruits, vegetables, meat, fish were every day. And the cakes and pies are just amazing!
Juices are packaged, but of good quality. The coffee machine worked, and the waiters served freshly brewed ground coffee in a thermos kettle and a kettle of hot water.
We ordered a standard room, but they provided a larger one - a family standard (one large double bed plus a single bed) with a balcony, not far from the restaurant on the second floor in building 5. Although the room has not been renovated, it could be called problem-free if not constant noise from some running system.
At our request, they brought bathrobes and repaired the TV. There is air conditioning, but we didn't use it.
We had a Premium Al meal and were immediately given a gold bracelet. The a la carte restaurant Hakuna Matata was visited by appointment only once (for us, this cuisine is unacceptable - everything is very peppery, salty, spicy, fatty). But we went to bowling, billiards and the spa area with vouchers and enjoyed it a lot.
The Sierra 5 * hotel has all the conditions for a good rest: a good, clean, affordable hotel that justifies the money invested.
The proximity of the airport is a plus, but the noise of overflying planes is a minus. A huge plus is the walking distance to Soho Square.
Despite the uniqueness of the Red Sea, good beach and reef, windless bay, landscaped area, partial renovation of the hotel rooms and diligence of the staff,
the old room that we got spoils the overall impression.
Many thanks to the staff for the warm welcome and wishes of success!
