In April 2021, due to the coronavirus, quarantine was tightened again, and we again decided to relax in Egypt for a week.
We really didn’t want windy weather, and therefore we rest in the Hadaba area in winter and spring. This time we chose the budget "four" Faraana reef - a combination of a sandy beach, calm sea and a reef with fish. What could be better on the Red Sea?
Two-story hotel buildings in the Egyptian style, the territory is beautiful, large, there are green courtyards and alleys. Several pools, not heated in April. The rooms are renovated and ordinary. Our room is not new, but clean, there is air conditioning, hair dryer, TV, shower, refrigerator in working condition. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed every day. There was no bottled water, they bought it in a store or poured it from a cooler in the canteen. The windows of the room on the second floor overlooked the private sector and the local mosque. On the left, the sea was seen in the distance, on the right - the sunset and mountains . . A few mosquitoes were sometimes heard in the morning.

A few cons for me: loud sounds of prayer from the mosque every morning at 4 o'clock, 15 minutes later again. Couldn't sleep afterwards
And yet, I did not have enough light in the evenings. The light in the rooms is dim, on the territory, too, I would like more and brighter lighting.
It was possible to meet the dawn by going out into the corridor of the second floor, or go down 3 minutes to the sea and the Santorini cafe. Watching the sunset from the balcony!
For breakfast there were good pancakes with chocolate, scrambled eggs, feta, local cheese and sausage, yogurt, breakfast cereals, some vegetables, pastries.
Lunches and dinners without frills, but tasty, there is a choice. Lunches were held in an open restaurant on the beach with a gorgeous view of the bay! I would like more fresh vegetables and fruits.
There is a bar on the beach and near the main pool, good coffee from the machine near the pool. In the dining room there was tasteless instant coffee from a kettle and tea, hot milk, multi-colored jupis.
In the evening it was nice to sit in the authentic Farsha cafe, take a walk and listen to music. 20 minutes to the Old Market, fish restaurants and the beautiful Al Sahaba Mosque in the Old City. On the other side is the Italian-style street Il Mercato.
Also in the evening we went to Soho and Naama Bay.
There is a diving center on site. Daughter with an instructor descended 10 meters, emotions go wild from the beauty of the underwater world!
The site took an excursion for active, mobile and hardy tourists to the Wadi al Vash Vash canyon and a mountain lake with rainwater (read a short review about the tour).
The hotel has active animators. During the day and in the evening there are various activities and music shows.
We were lucky with the weather from April 3 to 10 - there was no wind, the heat was 30-32 degrees, the sea was warm! 8 days flew by very, very quickly!
This time, at the airport of Sharm, they quietly and calmly passed the check of suitcases and hand luggage. And in January, all the suitcases were torn through hard. Somehow unexpectedly.
