Rested 7 days in Rimini at the Calypso Hotel. In general, I liked it: the hotel is cozy, clean room, polite staff, there are several cool nightclubs nearby. The weather let us down a little, it rained for several days, so swimming in the sea was no longer necessary, I had already visited local establishments. In order not to waste time, I decided to go on an excursion to Rome. The city is beautiful, there are so many architectural monuments... but I didn’t have time to look into everything, because we were given 2.5 hours for the tour itself, the rest of the time we were on the road. Traveled from a local tour operator on a large bus. It's raining outside - the bus is stuffy... Meals are not included in the price of the tour, so we ate in those roadside restaurants where the guide brought us. The food and service is not very good, I didn't like it, but the prices bite. It is not clear by what criteria these “restaurants” were preferred, but the guide actively recommended them, apparently receives a percentage for delivered customers. In general, I was terribly tired, I didn’t really see anything, I also overpaid twice! My roommates advised me to turn to private traders, they themselves went on an excursion with a certain Victor, and were satisfied with the trip. But I was somehow afraid, I decided since this is a travel agency, everything should be of the highest standard there. In a word, disappointed.
