I will start my review by saying that we rested in Turkey for the first time and I had nothing to compare with, so our impressions of this tour and the hotel formed an opinion about the whole of Turkey. We were in the hotel in 2018, still did not get around to writing a review. However, it is impossible not to warn others and leave this “chic” 5 * hotel without attention.
Do not be too lazy to read 5 minutes and then you will really save a lot of nerves.
We went to the Kemal Bay Hotel (5 stars) through the company Biblio Globe (Kilit Global). A ticket for 7 nights cost 70.000 rubles for two.
Transfer from Antalya took about 2.2. 5 hours. They brought it to “their” store, explaining this as the driver’s obligatory rest, despite the comments of tourists that it was already after midnight and I would like to go to the hotel. Then they took the tourists to their hotels and arrived at this “wonderful” place at 1 am.

At first glance at the reception, the hotel looked like a 5 star, otherwise it is an average 3*.
The representative of the tour operator brought us to the front door and drove on.
The guys at the reception spoke Russian, with difficulty of course, but they did. They dug for a long time (as I understood later, they expected an offer of additional money, like $ 6 per day for a normal room), although in hotels all rooms are only a standard room. And within 30 minutes we mastered the program, we filled out the questionnaires and we were taken to apartments that no provincial hotel that does not have stars in Russia will envy.
The room was in a building adjacent to the main building (by the way, only Ukrainians and Russians were accommodated there, most likely a coincidence) opens with a card, and all electronics and sockets work only with it. From the threshold we were struck by the smell, a mixture between old age and a sour smell, it stank terribly in the closet and pillows. There were a couple of broken cups, sugar and coffee on the table, 4 battered towels and cotton pads in the bathroom.
The decoration of the room consisted of two beds (couples in Turkey probably sleep separately), bedside tables, air conditioning, wardrobe, TV, refrigerator and a table on the balcony. On the balcony, we had a “chic” view, because the room was on the ground floor right behind the bar where they pour beer and the grate by the pool. Opened the bedside tables, they were very dirty.

I will say that it was already 2 am, and we, without unpacking our things, went to the reception to ask for a change of room. The hotel staff stopped speaking Russian, they said that they did not understand what we wanted (then I explained in English). We thought hard for half an hour, then a man who looked like a security guard with a walkie-talkie approached us and, without introducing himself in excellent Russian, began to shout at us, and then for some reason simply left. Finding out the name and surname did not work out, the guys at the reception defended their sesuriti as best they could. In general, after that we decided to record all the dialogues on camera, sat in the chairs at the reception and began to expect a normal number. We decided, of course, that it was useless and went to rest from the road to our smelly room, and the hotel staff offered (in English) to express their complaints in the morning to their boss.
In the morning, of course, the first thing we did was go to the head of these wonderful partisans. The chief said that all the rooms next to us, in this wonderful bungalow, are occupied and only we express claims for quality. But we have not rested in Turkey before and have not met such an attitude towards tourists from Russia, maybe this is normal for this country and for my compatriots (after all, only Russians and Ukrainians lived there).
The end of the conversation was that Mr. Chief said that we should not spoil his morning mood and come after dinner.
The problem was solved by representatives of the tour operator who came to advertise their tours. After talking with the representatives of the hotel, we were nevertheless given a fairly good (with its shortcomings, of course) room in the main building.
These wonderful people helped to make the first impression of Turkey, many thanks to them for this.
Upon arrival, of course, memories are fresh, but it cannot be said that the rest was completely ruined, we liked a lot, as everywhere there are pluses and minuses. And if we forget about the pig attitude of both ordinary hotel employees and his superiors, there were more pluses.
Of the objective pluses:
1. Location of hotel facilities. If you are lucky and live in the main building, then at the exit there is a large and clean pool, a cafe on the right and 20 meters away there is a sea and a beach.
2. I am not a fan of animation, and since it was completely absent in this hotel, I consider this a personal plus (the rest were bored).
3. There were almost always enough sunbeds, but we rested in late September - early October, in the season, take with you a person specially trained to wake up early, who will put your towels on the sunbeds you like from 6 to 7 in the morning.
4. We tried the buffet for the first time (there is nothing to compare with), just a lot, there are enough queues of small tables, a view of the sea and palm trees from the cafe is class.

5. Fat plus for a hookah, since in the evening this is the only entertainment, specially appointed people forbid walking on the territory of other hotels, and you can walk around the entire territory in 10 minutes. It costs $10 by the way, but it's worth it. The man is very friendly and was always very happy to see us.
Minuses:
1. Biased attitude towards Russians. Feel like second class people here.
2. There is no Internet even out of season, and 20-30 people always sit at the reception and try to squeeze the maximum out of one access point. I apparently do not understand Turkish 5 * well, but in Russian 3 * at least each floor has its own access point.
3. Animation was expressed in a song in the morning, I played water polo several times (the animator's concern was to throw hats and a ball to us, everything) in the evening there was a program from 21:00 to 21:30. The circus came, but the performance fell through, it rained. Once the animators were looking for who will participate in the competition, they could not find, they were offended and left announcing the first disco of all time, and people continued to sit in some shock. And they told me that animation is good in Turkey, apparently people lied.
4. I love tennis, big and small. So in this 5 * hotel there are no rackets for playing tennis (specially asked at the reception). I didn’t manage to play the small one either, the rackets were broken, one without a handle, and the second without a rubber coating, but oh well, maybe for the 70.000 rubles I gave. they will buy them by the next year and you will be lucky.
5. The hotel felt savings on everything. As if the hotel management analyzed all the little things from check-in to check-out and saved wherever possible.
Personally, we found other values in Turkey by visiting the historical sites of Alanya fortress, Cleopatra beach, red tower, old shipyards, etc. , sailing on a pirate ship at night (by the way, we liked the program there and jumping from the mast and fireworks and a fire show and a foam party ).
In general, I think that we ended up in a very bad hotel. People apparently thinking the same in many places of the hotel removed a couple of stars from the logo and left this hotel only 3 *.

Again, for lack of opportunity to compare, maybe 70.000 rubles. this is a very small amount for a 7-day tour, but I want a normal ratio of a good room and tennis rackets? Of course, it's up to you to decide, in no case would I return to this hotel and I will try to dissuade most of my friends and acquaintances from this.
And honestly, he didn’t even spare an hour to warn as many people as possible about this “chic” place.
If you suddenly go to THIS hotel, I hope you are lucky. Only great luck can help here!
