But, having arrived in Istanbul, we could not find this hotel for a long time. She is small and no one in the city knows about her and where she is. Even the Turks living and working nearby have not heard anything about this lousy hotel. In principle, this is not a hotel, in fact it is worse than a hostel. Terribly dirty hotel, very high prices, poor and monotonous breakfast, linen with stains, dirty pillow, narrow corridor, no lobby. The administrator did not even offer us to sit down when my wife and I, after a long search, were tired and barely on our feet. The administrator (his name is Cihan Ozturk-) was only interested in our money and also wanted to rip off - he impudently imposed a taxi transfer to the Airport . . , and there it was faster and a hundred times cheaper by metro . . ). The rest of the employees are no different from their owner. By the way, they all speak Russian (Armenian women).
Our vacation was ruined. Be careful not to take a taxi (Istanbul has excellent public transport), do not stay at the Galata La Bella Hotel. This is not a hotel, but a Hostel.
