From a trip to Odessa there were very ambivalent feelings - a very beautiful city and, as it turned out, a very bad hotel. I'll start in order:

1. For a corporate meeting in Odessa and excellent reviews on booking. com was selected Odessa courtyard. It was agreed with the hotel two weeks before check-in that people would start arriving from 4 am, so we needed an early check-in. We paid 50% of the room rate for it and received a promise from the hotel that guests can check in from midnight. As a result, those who arrived early had to just sit in the corridor, because, as explained at the reception, for some reason, their early check-in starts at 8 in the morning. What is most interesting is that those who arrived after 8 were also settled at least an hour later, because someone lived in the rooms and they had to be removed.

2. The girls at the reception are frostbitten (I just can’t find another word). It looks like they are sleeping on the go. They cannot give a clear answer to any question.

3.
When settling in, another surprise awaited us - superior double rooms (it was agreed in advance that there should be two SEPARATE beds). And what did we get - one double bed and ...a sofa! Of the 13 rooms booked, there were 6 such "improved" rooms. In principle, it is strange that they did not charge us for the second "free" place on the bed.

4. For some reason, there was only one set of towels in the double room. The second was brought only after another pleasant communication with the reception. Moreover, the towel brought was with traces of lipstick - and again I had to deal with the reception.

5. A separate story is the smell in the room. Despite the fact that smoking is prohibited in the rooms, there is a sign on the table saying that if you want to smoke, just pay an additional 200 UAH. I think someone in front of us did not regret 200 UAH, in the end we had to sleep all night with an open balcony, because it was impossible to breathe.

6.
When leaving, we also had to wait until the room was checked, just like in the old Soviet hotels.

But the hotel has a doorman!

In general, after visiting Odessa, I can say that this is definitely not the last visit, but it is also certain that I will bypass the Odessa courtyard on the tenth road.
