A family of 4 has just returned from the New Year holidays. We went to Truskavets. Last year I liked the rest in the Karpaty sanatorium. Wonderful resort! But when trying to book at the beginning of November last year, there were no more places in it, and we chose, guided by the official website, the sanatorium Geneva, 4 **** (sort of). We arrived on January 3, and there was a riot of numerous vacationers at the reception (the plot was shown on TSN). About the hotel. The rooms are cold, people sleep in hats, fur coats, or there is no water, or only cold, hot appeared periodically. In the Suite room there is one small foot towel for 4 guests (there are no towels), bathrobes had to be urgently demanded from the administrator “with a fight” (robes are an important thing, since the hotel has a good SPA area and there in jeans and sweaters uncomfortable walking). About the SPA center. In the central pool, the water is cold, we sat in heated pools and saunas. There is no hot water in the showers. The long passages between the buildings are so cold that it seems that you are walking down the street (this is at -15). It was amusing to watch the picture of vacationers walking from the SPA in bathrobes and hats with earflaps. About the restaurant. The dishes in the restaurant are not enough. But there are no complaints about the food! The dishes are varied, fresh and tasty. Live music (chamber symphony orchestra, opera singers) captivated. About the medical center Doctor Grebinyuk A. I. , who consulted and prescribed procedures for the reception of the three of us, but did not want to consult the youngest daughter, as he was late for the taxi. I had to run around asking at the reception for a consultation with another doctor. Gene. Director Andrei Pavlovich is half-sane and elusive. Refunds at the hotel are not practiced by anyone and they never solve heating, water supply, household issues (clogged toilets, torn curtains), citing force majeure (-15 * C in the Lviv region, this turns out to be force majeure). He also called me Judas when there was a tough conversation about the return of money for services not rendered, or at least a settlement in a warm room. But these are all superficial sketches, I kept silent about the dirt, lack of cleaning, broken furniture, rudeness of administrators and maids, lack of badges (you don’t know how to contact), dress code and general very unfriendly attitude towards hotel guests!
So this is the Lviv region! We don’t need Putin either, we will eat ourselves. The level of a hostel, not a hotel ****. For such money and such service!! !
