The rest in Abkhazia itself throws you back in time 10-15 years ago. You need to discount this. The staff is very friendly, the internet is fast. There is wi-fi and an internet room. We lived on the 9th floor, the elevators work, the room is cleaned daily. Calm family vacation. Entertainment minimum. Air and sea - that's what they come here for.

On the May holidays we went with a group of friends to Abkhazia, we really like to relax here both in summer and in winter. Not the first time we have stayed at this hotel. Beautiful, cozy, hospitable, comfortable, the only thing was that the cold water tap was broken in the room, they left a request at the counter more than once, but the plumbers waited only on the day of departure, they swam all these days with friends' room.

We had a buffet meal, everything was delicious and varied. The room was cleaned regularly, towels changed every day. The prices are affordable, we will definitely go again.

1. This is not a sanatorium, this is a hotel. So we were told at the reception. There are no procedures at all. The spa complex is completely destroyed. All offices are closed. The hotel staff say that the SPA has nothing to do with them.
There is a masseuse who herself rents a room there and gives massages, but I'm sure she doesn't even have a medical book. In what he walks down the street in that and does a massage.
2. Pool. It's not a pool, it's a puddle. A trough filled with sea water. The water is not purified or changed. There is no incoming disinfection system. People pass as if to the sides in street shoes, undress and swim like a herring in a barrel.

In the evening, two cleaners wash all the dirt from the sides and from under the sun loungers directly into the pool with hoses (pool water). As a result, the transport passed only through the territory of Abkhazia, and then dropped people off. All passengers had to walk through the entire border area at 36 degrees! Then expect! About an hour! ! And these are mainly elderly people and families with children (this is the contingent of vacationers, by definition) and, accordingly, everyone with luggage.

Only after crossing the border they put on another bus. The bus was waiting for a very long time on Russian territory. There was simply nowhere for people to sit or hide from the heat. Buses, of course, without air conditioning. This finally spoiled everything, and without that not the best attitude towards the "Boxwood Grove". Last year, the bus passed without problems from the boarding house across the border to Adler.

They called a boat from Pitsunda, which arrived only an hour later. If at least some rescuers were possible, the woman would have been saved. So, I don’t go to Abkhazia anymore and I don’t advise you.

Although for men, such food is probably just right, we are little ones))). The territory of the hotel is huge, well-groomed. Everything is kept clean, all the shrubs are even, flowers are all around, plant arches, hedges, alpine slides. Courts for tennis, badminton, football. Coatings are not good everywhere, but they promised that everything will be fixed by next year)). For outdoor activities "Boxwood Grove" is ideal. You can take inventory on bail and play as much as you like, which we did. In the evenings, life is just beginning. Music sounds from the numerous cafes on the territory, animators work. entertain vacationers. Well done guys - they know how to start a crowd. We danced on the beach until midnight. And who can not sleep - in the hookah bar until 3 am. Another funny thing is that calves enter the territory of the beach and the hotel. I have repeatedly observed a picture of how hotel workers chased calves, and these impudent people run around in a circle from them, but do not want to leave. But for me personally, it just made me laugh. especially since I love animals. There are umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach, although there are not enough sunbeds for all, but you can sit on wooden sunbeds, but I liked to lie right on the pebbles. Many thanks to the animators. They made the holiday unforgettable. Stretching in the morning, then water aerobics in the pool (the water in the pool is sea and heated in the indoor pool). The classes were led by a fitness instructor, so the classes were just super. We were very pleased with the programs for children, even we were interested in watching children's programs. Even local artists were invited to the hotel, you can enjoy the local culture without leaving the ticket office. I went to the "Ritsa", I liked it very much. During the vacation, the Bingo lottery was held 3 times. It was a whole show, with elements of the game. The main highlight of this event was the host Said. He got the crowd going in 5 minutes. And at the end he sang - his voice is super! ! So I strongly advise you to visit Abkhazia in "Samshitka". And you can improve your health (there are procedures), and have fun, and keep fit. And if you don’t want noise, you can wander in the evenings over a vast territory in the shade of trees. So, when leaving, we have already decided to return here next year with the hope of seeing the familiar faces of all the staff, and of course the animators. Without them, this would not be such fun!
