We just returned from Samshitka, we were satisfied with the rest. When the reception asked about the shops, we were sent to their own shops (located on the 1st floor) it’s worth going there, the prices there are much higher. There is a normal shop near the boarding house, where all the tourists go. As you leave the territory, turn left along the road for 3-4 minutes. They got to the market by taxi, taxis were caught right at the exit from the territory (there are a lot of them there). They said: we give 100 rubles to the vegetable market, or to the market of the Pitsunda resort (there are souvenirs, T-shirts, flip flops). Taxi drivers start to fill the price and say that they will go for 150 rubles, do not get fooled by this. Not lucky alone, go with another, go there for 5-7 minutes. There is still a bus going there, but I didn't have a chance to ride it. Of the local fruits, there were only cherries from 60 to 100 rubles per 1 kg, and yellow ranetki, the rest of the fruits were imported. So we went to Abkhazia! I'm glad I didn't fall for all the negative reviews! I have been to many places, but Abkhazia is an Amazing country! Picturesque places, fabulously beautiful beaches and the sea! Were in Samshitka, I liked everything, but the buffet is not very good - there are not enough fruits and drinks (at least juices and lemonade). Wine can be bought at any store, 150 rubles from Lykhna, Apsny, Escher, Amr for a bottle, fruit is cheaper than here in Nizhny Novgorod. We overate on figs, drank tangerine juice, bought from the locals, we liked everything very much. about the border, a transfer from Samshitka is a very good service, we stood at the border for 1 hour, I think we were lucky. And back in 5 minutes they crossed, there was no one. In general, we had a very good rest, I do not regret that we went. The next year, only there, well, at least 2 weeks out of 4 set.
