We chose the hotel for a short time, as we were traveling with children, and our goal was a hotel with a water park. Arrived just after Christmas when prices dropped and the weather improved. The latter was reported to us by other vacationers. Therefore, I would like to warn other tourists not to fly to Egypt for the New Year holidays, if your goal is to swim - the sea and icy pools.
But since we live in Kemerovo and are accustomed to low temperatures, the usual summer awaited us in Egypt.
Let's start with a description of the territory. Very large, beautiful, but the paths are winding and not everywhere there are bridges over improvised canals. To get to your sunbed near the heated pool from the reception, you need to walk for 10 minutes, skirting these channels and the main building. Our room was next to the reception on the first floor. The furniture in the room is ordinary, everything is available, plumbing is working. There are no complaints about the room, except for the almost complete lack of soundproofing. We heard the steps of the janitor in the corridor at 7 am, and the lawn mower 100 meters away with the window closed, and the German neighbor snoring. If you have two children, then the room will be crowded. They brought us one extra bed, there was nowhere to put the second one.

The food is good, you can find food everywhere. There are many bars, there is ice cream for children and adults, sweets at every step, they prepare cappuccino, latte. In restaurants, especially the main one, there is a large selection of various dishes, meat and chicken in various forms, fried fish, vegetables, oriental pickles. The staff is hyper-communicative, without vulgarity, increased attention to children.
The water park itself is large, there are many slides for every taste, you can go down both on priests, and on rugs and in circles. There is enough space for everyone. The beach of the Beach Albatros hotel, on which the shuttle bass (chronically late) carries a spacious, beautiful panorama from the cliff on which the hotel is located. You can go down both on the panoramic elevator and the stairs. Entrance to the sea on the steps, sandy, no corals. But we chose the hotel taking into account the fact that children need to swim in shallow water. There is only one bar on the beach, we tried to choose a place closer to it, since it was a long way to go for drinks and food.
We went to Ras Mohamed for corals by bus (you need a visa, a Sinai stamp is not enough). The kids loved it and so did we. We also went out one by one on a motorcycle safari, went on foot to the dolphinarium.
In conclusion, I would like to recommend the hotel for families with children, young couples. We are going to return to it again.
