Animation is boring. Before covid was much more fun and friendly.
Many photo zones were placed on the territory, although there was once no problem with this. The territory is green and well-groomed.

1. When choosing a hotel, the main requirement was a water park for a child. From the good: he was! From the bad: he worked 3 hours a day. Perhaps this is due to some of the problems with staff or economy, I don’t know. The children's part of the water park is suitable for both kids and older children.
2. The territory is large, but absolutely not well-groomed. Dirty, peeling decorative pools. Shabby grass on lawns. Terrible faded figures of frogs, warriors and even one seal. Very dirty pools. Sometimes there was a feeling that they were not removed in principle, as both cups and food mixed with leaves floated. There are many bars on the territory, but they are old, not cleaned, chairs and tables are never wiped. Half work.
3. Rooms are old and dirty. The nightstands were all stained. The lock in the toilet sometimes did not open and periodically had to heroically rescue the child. The fridge didn't work when we checked in, but we asked for it to be replaced. The kettle was dirty. From dishes 3 plastic cups on a dirty tray. I don’t even know what to write down in the dignity of the room)) Swans and hearts, probably.
4. Nutrition is a separate issue. Let's start with the fact that the restaurant is UNREAL DIRTY. Everything is dirty: floors, walls, tables on which there is food, chairs, coffee and juice machines. I am an absolute picky eater, but every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner was the same. The meat is always either overcooked or all in some terrible spices. Potatoes/pasta/beans all looked like some sort of processed goo most of the time. Once the truth was lucky and there was a watermelon and squid. A la carte restaurants are not much different from a regular restaurant, both in food and cleanliness.
5. Staff without money does not want to do anything. At what it is too obvious, there is something to compare. Dressed, by the way, too untidy and dirty. Waiters walk around the hotel all the time and offer you something to buy.
6. SEA! If you eat for the sake of fish and corals, then you are definitely not in the right place! The sea is very shallow iiii guess for yourself))) yes, yes, dirty! The shore is not cleaned, the sunbeds are broken and old. Seagulls carry burgers from a nearby bar along the coast.
In summary: DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The dining room itself (it cannot be called a restaurant) is very dirty.

The rooms that were offered for us also leave much to be desired. We changed 3 numbers and still settled on 1224.
Refrigerator in the rooms does not work, TVs also. Hot water problems. Oh Gods and is it like 5 Egyptian stars? It's just awful!

At the reception they turned us around and did not solve the problem. They referred to the crisis and all that (then why offer such services? probably the mentality).

I highly recommend not to come to this hotel! It's not worth it. Not worth the money and nerves. I would give 2* to this hotel. Or called it a cheap hostel.

In fact, only the room was with a sea view and the Royal beach bar (turned out to be worse than the bar on the general beach). The hotel closed everything that is possible and impossible. There is 1 restaurant (general).

There are NO benefits or improvements compared to Regency Plaza. We overpaid ($200 for a week) for nothing. This is a COMPLETE scam.

In the hotel itself, everything is cut down "by the most I can not. " Like a beach bar. On one of the days of rest, my wife and I decided to drink beer. It is, you know, cold beer, but under the crackers brought from home...Mmm...But! Came up once, took a beer, went to the sunbeds, drank. Second time. The third time, the bartender REFUSED to pour the beer, saying: "Drink here. They only give me 6 bottles of beer a day, and there are a lot of you. " A scribe, right?

I never quarrel with the staff, they are unfortunate guys with a penny salary.
Went to reception and explained the situation. There are good artists at the reception, they portrayed their concern for me so well, almost tears rolled down my face. They promised: "Yes, of course, now they will bring xxx crates of beer to the beach. " They never brought it : -) Well, figs with them.

Then, in the lobby bar, I saw how the bartender makes cocktails by pinching the neck of the bottles with his finger instead of the dispenser ...Unpleasant, honestly.

Initially, they counted on the fact that their own, separate Royal restaurant would work. Yeah, right now ...We went to the general. Surprisingly, I liked the food. Salads, side dishes, beef, chicken, fish - have always been. But the breakfasts were up. Of the 7 breakfasts, we only managed to take butter for sandwiches at one. It is taken out once. Ends immediately, no more. A trifle, but a shame.

All hot drinks, even at breakfast, must be taken at the bar, no tea, no coffee, no boiling water is freely available. Okay, it's not hard for me to ask. Whom to ask?
Several times it happened that they came to the bar, waited 3-4 minutes - no one appeared. We left without coffee. I noticed that despite the fact that the hotel is filled with literally 20 percent, there are not enough cups - that's all. The bartender smiles and spreads his arms.

How they cope with the influx of tourists if Egypt is opened for Russians in March - I can’t imagine.

Sea

It turned out much better than expected (but this is not the merit of the hotel, of course). Completely sandy bay. You can go from the shore along the sand to the depth, you can go along the pier. The sea in January is excellent, like Black Sea in August : -) The wind was every other day, absolutely did not interfere. Even my frozen wife bathed.

Swimming pool

Instead of the promised two heated ones, there was only one, it was heated normally, there were plenty of places by the pool. But we were there only once, spent the whole day by the sea.

Bottom line: there is no point in overpaying for Royal. If I had known the alignment in advance, I would have taken a tour to the usual Regency Plaza.
Then it would not be a shame that they deceived me and I would definitely give the hotel 6-7 points out of 10.

And so ...Thanks to the cool sea and the wonderful boy-cleaner, I put 2 out of 10, not 0 out of 10.

The hotel is old, nothing has been cleaned, there is only one horror, there are no heated pools, in the water park (non-working) it is supposedly heated, but the temperature from the sea is not much different. The restaurant is shared with another hotel, there are three trays of food, the choice is small and not very fresh products. The chicken was fried outside on the grill, but also not very tasty. Apparently the pandemic is doing its job and hotels are trying to trick guests into inviting guests, but upon arrival everything is very disappointing. Alcohol is diluted so much that even the most picky tourists become disgusted.
We turned to Tez rur and we were moved to another hotel, thank God. Considering that the flight from Minsk for 14 days, we paid 2063 US dollars, this includes dinner from each New Year's for 110 dollars. The husband's anniversary was spoiled, in the hotel, of all the services offered and the quality of the rest, only the name of the hotel coincided, everything else was missing.

Scales, hair dryer, plasma, hammock, cosmetics and more. The room is very clean and spacious. The balcony is just as spacious even considering that the floor of the balcony is occupied by a hammock.
Restaurant. The choice is not large, but everything was there. And what was not at the first mention appeared.
The devices are all in packages. Staff in masks and gloves. And always dressed like a party.
We were lucky enough to celebrate my husband's birthday at the hotel. The room was decorated, the table was set with flowers and balloons, a cake was brought out to the Egyptian song "Happy Birthday" and then they sang it in Russian. This day will be remembered for a long time.
The beach is private and the entry into the sea is shared with the guests of Regency. For us, this is not a minus, but to our surprise there was a family of vacationers who were annoyed by "mere mortals".
We did not go to the water park, so we can not say anything about it.
Animation active on the beach and in the evening.
Special thanks to the staff for their care and service. The guys made us feel at home. Very friendly.
We will definitely return to this hotel next month.
