Vacation at Sunrise Diamond Beach Hotel
The first time we went to rest in Sharm El Sheikh - Egypt, the Sunrise Diamond Beach Hotel and did not regret it. True, we have nothing to compare, except with our home, but we really liked it. Friendly and hospitable people, many speak Russian well. We arrived late in the evening, met there and brought to the hotel. First they fed us dinner, and then they began to settle in rooms. The room was on the second floor, overlooking the main pool and the sea. The room has air conditioning, electronic safe, refrigerator, kettle, etc. The room is cozy. The territory is landscaped, there are many flowers, palm trees, flowering trees and shrubs. The hotel has three swimming pools, one of them with a water park. The beach is private with a pontoon for passage to the bathing place behind the coral reef. Many different colorful fish, beautiful living corals.
The hotel had all-inclusive style meals. Buffet with a great abundance of products, salads, side dishes, pastries, drinks for every taste.
Excursions are offered by the tour operator's guide, but we took from the locals. They have the same excursions, but twice cheaper and they also give discounts and gifts for several excursions taken from them. We took a super colored canyon - it included a jeep ride through the desert to the colored canyon, walking through the canyon, drinking tea with Bedouins, a trip to the blue lagoon with swimming there, lunch, camel riding and shopping in the city of Dahab. We also took a couple of excursions, not large ones such as quad bike safaris with tea drinking and horseback riding. I liked everything very much, but you have to be prepared for the fact that you will be scammed in any way for money. Here is an example: before a trip to the blue lagoon, we stopped in Dahab to a diving shop and began to rub everything that those who do not have fins with them will not be able to swim there, since you have to go to the water along the carals in slippers, and even more barefoot - hurt your legs, so you will sit on the shore and watch others bathe. And the people massively began to rent ($5) fins. But in fact, there are several clean entries between the corals into the water, and I was quite calmly swimming barefoot there. The main thing is to have a mask to see all the beauty of the underwater world!!!
A little more about shopping. There are many things for souvenirs and for everyday life. But the prices everywhere are inflated by two or even three times. Here you have to bargain. The longer you bargain, the cheaper you can buy. What in the shops, what in the elite stores. From AnexTour they were taken on a free tour of three supermarkets and the first store was with leather goods. The prices are exorbitant. All products with price tags can be bought with home delivery. I liked there two jackets for me and my wife, and especially a fur coat. Here we understand what it means to bargain!!!! ! The truth was not going to be taken, but the process itself !! ! The jackets were removed from the auction and they began to fight for a fur coat. Starting price $1850. With managers, they threw off only $ 300, well, they began to get ready to leave. Then the owner appeared from somewhere and trade began from the beginning with tea drinking. To his question for how much would you buy the minimum and maximum, I remembered how they taught me - divide the price in half, gave out a minimum of $800 and a maximum of $1000 and received an answer almost immediately that he would sell us as the first buyers for $850. Seeing that we were in no hurry to fork out, he asked to wait and came in 5 minutes, said that he had looked at the computer and could sell us for $ 780. Promising to return, we left this store with a little shock for ourselves! After such a lesson, we then in the shops when buying souvenirs for relatives and ourselves boldly bargained and bought two or three sets for the price of one.
