Having chosen a good hotel, please note that the best rooms are not given to representatives from the countries of the former Soviet Union, but to those who are more willing to pay tips : ) Therefore, make a good impression upon arrival and try to take a newer room and not at the very top, because it gets very hot from the sun and it is not always comfortable to live from above because of the constant heat. If there are three-story buildings, then try to get to the second level : )
Another specific feature is a shallow beach that stretches far into the sea. Each hotel located by the sea has a pier, usually very long. Here on it to a more acceptable depth and walk to swim in the sea. It's quite normal, by the way... Just buy special slippers so as not to prick your feet. This is typical for all hotels in this place, so I won’t call it a disadvantage, it’s just the specifics and take it for granted; )
A longer walk on the sea will not overshadow the impression at all, and the crystal clear water, very warm and pleasant, will make an excellent impression. The abundance of fish will please.
On the territory of hotels, as a rule, there are many pools. Everything you need for children : ) Well, adults too : )
The service staff is usually very friendly. Tips make their smiles even happier, and interesting compositions on the bed in the form of swans, crocodiles, elephants and much more will always delight you : )
A few words about guides, and, as I understand it, about the general trend associated with the desire to earn extra money as efficiently as possible. Quite an aggressive policy of imposition and persuasion. The discrepancy between the description and the accolades of the guides about what you will get in real life.
I will give an example of how events can develop. After arrival, you are strongly recommended to come to a meeting with the guide, and they will present it as something super important, without which you will almost go back home. At the meeting, they will explain to you that the laws here are not the same as everywhere else and you can choose excursions and go somewhere only through official representatives, and not through the services of third-party companies.
They will also argue that if you decide to use travel services of outside organizations, then you will have problems with insurance, with departure, with the police, etc. , etc. : ) It depends on how impressionable a person is to them gets caught, so aggression can be higher or lower, and noodles can be more or less, depending on the complaisance of the interlocutor.
If you are not convinced by his speeches to shell out a tidy sum for upcoming tours, then he will very aggressively demand passports from you, which he allegedly will carry to the police in order to make a note about the blocking of all possible tours, that we are not going anywhere and have no right to do this, and in the questionnaire he will ask to write that if we go somewhere, it will be at our own peril and risk, and we, like, undertake to be only on the territory of the hotel : )
And finally, he will add, probably, that you have time to change your mind before lunch of the current day. And, of course, he will show a video of some scandal at the airport with the police and tourists who, allegedly, arbitrarily went on tours not through official representatives, but through other people who, by the way, are on every corner. Outside the hotel, they offer the same tours at times cheaper; )
A trained person, of course, will understand that this is nothing more than an attempt at a divorce, but many will believe and fall for it, and buy many tours and trips through these psychologist guides. Therefore, I decided to briefly describe this possible episode so that everyone understands that such tricks and psychological pressure are a scam. Be careful : )
There are many barkers walking around and outside the territory, who also offer trips and excursions. Bargain. And don't really count on something exclusive or good. On a yacht in the sea - a great idea! Everyone will offer it to you! And someone will appreciate! As a result, the yacht will turn out to be not so comfortable, everything will be quickly and crumpled, the food will not be the same as in the pictures, and it will not be cooked in exactly the same conditions as we would like... And you will be waiting almost in a shed, with several fans and several benches for about an hour and a half of loading on this yacht : ) And if you want to go to the toilet, a good friend will let you go there for $ 1 : ) But I do not rule out that you will like it! This is individual.
Motor safari is a train ride through the dust in the desert, breathe in the dust and fumes. Someone will also like it, especially children, joy... I'm not impressed; )
As a rule, outside the hotels nearby there are retail outlets, bazaars, shops... Everything is there. People are kind and helpful, but bargain, and you will be happy. You can buy everything or almost everything. It's not worth going somewhere to shop very far. . .
The airport screening is very zealous. Particular attention, as I understand it, attracts technology, gadgets and medicines. They can inspect for a long time and carefully. Do not take anything in bottles in your hand luggage, liquids, gel, cosmetics, creams - everything is in your luggage, or you will leave without them.
And so, a very cool holiday, very friendly and helpful people, a very good time. Recommended!
