Poznań goats Pyrek and Tyrek
Poland › Poznan › Monument to goats in Poznań
Each city has its own symbol (even if not official), but in Poznan they chose - butting goats! According to legend, it was 2 goats who saved the city by climbing up the mountain (or the town hall according to one of the options) to escape from the butcher's knife.

Nice place
Poland › Poznan › Tumski Island in Poznań
It was from Tumski Island (on the Warta River and the Tsybina River flowing into it) that the whole history of Poznan began. According to legend, the ancestors of three Slavic peoples met at this place - Lech, Rus and Czech.

Interesting for train lovers and children
Poland › Poznan › Maltanka
Maltanka (Kolejka Parkowa Maltanka - Maltanka Park Railway) - with a length of 3.85 km and a gauge of only 600 mm in Poznan, is located near Lake Malta (in the Malta Park, which looks more like a forest).

The youngest castle in Europe - the Imperial Castle
Poland › Poznan › Zamek Cultural Center
One of the youngest castles in Europe and my favorite castle - the Imperial Castle, seeing which I immediately fell in love and did not calm down until I went around from all sides.

Architecture and history lovers
Poland › Poznan › Church of Fara
In the very center of Poznan, south of the Old Market Square, one of the most remarkable baroque architectural monuments in Poland is located. The Church of St. Stanislaus the Bishop is also known as the Poznań Fara.

Interesting for nature lovers
Poland › Poznan › New Zoo in Poznań
We had a lot of fun walking around this huge ZOO. Indeed, a huge park, many travel by train, but we all walked around on our own. There are a lot of interesting animals, such as red Chinese pandas, meerkats, animals from Tasmania and Australia (a whole corner).

Interesting for boat lovers
Poland › Poznan › malta lake
In the center of Poznań there is a large lake where boating competitions are held: sailboats, kayaks, etc. Nearby there is a paid parking lot, large and empty, because everyone is trying to stand on a small free one away.

New mosque in the Old City.
Egypt › Sharm el-Sheikh › Al Sahaba Mosque
Al-Sahaba Mosque (El Sahaba Mosque) is probably the most beautiful mosque in Sharma, it is good both day and night in the backlight. It takes your breath away when you see it - a fabulous oriental fantasy!

Two Fares
Egypt › Sharm el-Sheikh › Fares Restaurants
There are several restaurants with this name in Sharm. I'm known in Il Mercato street and cheaper in the Old Town (not far from the Mosque). We visited Fares twice in the Old City - we ate soups with seafood (thick and hearty).

For shopping and seafood
Egypt › Sharm el-Sheikh › old city of sharm el sheikh
The old city is located, as it were, in a hollow in the center of which stands a beautiful new mosque. And life is seething all around - trade, restaurants. Were several times - bought, tasted seafood and fresh juices for a van dollar.

Good place for walking
Egypt › Sharm el-Sheikh › Il Mercato area
Probably, this place was planned as Soho or Naama Bay, where cafes, restaurants and everything is beautiful. But while it is deserted here, the crisis has touched everything.

Bar Street or bar street in Marmaris
Turkey › Marmaris › bar street
During the day, this is an ordinary, unremarkable street (there is a picturesque street in Marmaris), quite deserted, since bars and discos are closed. But with the onset of darkness (from 11 p.

Amphitheater in Marmaris
Turkey › Marmaris › Marmaris Amphitheater
This ancient building (4-5 thousand years ago) was badly damaged, but in 1970 it was wonderfully restored. And now it is used for its intended purpose - various events and concerts (mainly symphonic ones) are held.

Embankment of Marmaris
Turkey › Marmaris › Embankment in Marmaris
This is the biggest attraction that stretches from Port Marina to Icmeler. Someone writes that it is 12 km, someone that 7 km. We spent 2.5 hours walking from Icmeler to the Atatü rk monument near the port.

More than just a fountain
Turkey › Marmaris › Dancing Fountain
In fact, this is an interesting square, and the fountain is located on it. In fact, there are many fountains - picturesque, waterfalls. There is a clock tower and here is the terminal of many minibuses (for example, 2 and 3, and you can immediately take a minibus to Icmeler).

Turkey › Marmaris › Yuylik Archeology Park
The attraction is located next to the square with fountains and a tower, where the terminal of many minibuses. It seems to go deeper into the streets. We did not go inside, walked parallel to the fence and took pictures of what we saw.

Wonderful beaches and cafes
Turkey › Marmaris › Icmeler bay
This bay is better than the beaches of Marmaris. It is clean, comfortable, close to all the infrastructure. We spent most of our vacation in this bay (where there is also a wild beach in the rocks behind the port).

It's nice to walk and dream about yacht racing
Turkey › Marmaris › Marmaris Yacht Port
This is a wonderful place for walking - all kinds of beautiful yachts are near the water, enticing elegant cafes are opposite, behind them is the narrow Bar Street, and above all this splendor rises the Castle-Fortress.

Kebab with historical taste
Turkey › Marmaris › Hafsa caravanserai
There is not much left of the caravanserai, the most interesting part goes out onto a picturesque street and there is a cafe - the Sultan Cafe. It is very nice to sit here on a hot afternoon and taste a kebab or cold beer.

Turkey › Marmaris › Bedesten Market
We learned while looking, asked the locals - they don't know. : ) And it's all in the very center in plain sight! A small yellowish building with domes near the mosque. Outside boutiques, and inside a cafe with a garden and a fountain.

For those who believe
Turkey › Marmaris › Tomb of Sariana
I really wanted to visit this place, despite the fact that it is far from the tourist trails. I'm not sure how the name of this soothsayer is translated correctly (Blonde-faced or Fair-haired - different information everywhere), but I knew one thing - she made good predictions!

For shopping lovers
Turkey › Marmaris › Grand Bazaar of Marmaris
Everyone is looking for him, but at the beginning, they somehow slip past, and yet he is very close - it goes parallel to the embankment near the port! You just need to look not at the yachts, but towards the buildings - each entrance is signed: Grand Bazaar.

For me, this is the perfect attraction - a mixture of history, seascapes, a beautiful garden and a fresh breeze! I couldn't leave here - beautiful views and interesting expositions (antiques and coins, sculptures) - everything that school textbooks do not give!
