The pictures are beautiful
Qatar › Doha › The Corniche in Doha
The pictures are very beautiful, but in fact, during the day everything is gray and dull. The long famous embankment serves as a walking area and a favorite place for tourists.

Souk at the Arab Bazaar
Qatar › Doha › Souq Waqif Market
In whatever country our tourist would not be, everywhere he goes to the market. In Doha, the market - the highlight of the city - has been around for many years. Only here you can feel the atmosphere of the real ancient East.

Great oasis in the city
Qatar › Doha › Ethnographic village of Qatar
You can get to this "village" in Doha by taxi and by metro, to the Qatar station. Huge walking area. A beautiful natural oasis, a strange impression - in absolute silence you listen to the birds singing and look at the skyscrapers of a noisy metropolis!

Go and see
Qatar › Doha › Museum of Islamic Art
If you are in Doha, be sure to visit. From many hotels there is an absolutely free shuttle service to this museum. The building is quite young, the museum was opened in 2008.

Nature miracle
Cyprus › Ayia Napa › Cape Greco
Looking at beautiful photos of tourists, this miracle was the main thing I wanted to see on about. Cyprus. We took a boat trip. And what was our disappointment when we saw just a steep, rocky coast.

The glory of the beach is overstated
Cyprus › Protaras › Fig Tree Bay
If you rest nearby, then yes, a decent beach, with a sandy entrance and the cleanest sea. Equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, 2.5 euros per unit. Cafes are gray and miserable.

For morning jogging and evening walk it is the most
Cyprus › Protaras › Embankment of Protaras
We stayed at the Sunrise Hotel. Exit to the promenade directly from the hotel. In the morning, many tourists of different ages make their wellness runs. A massage tent is open during the day.

Wow, how much gold!)))
Thailand › Bangkok › Golden Buddha statue
The temple is located in the noisy Chinatown. In front of the entrance there is a huge, full-length portrait of King Rama 10, who has not yet been crowned. We go up the stairs, under the wall of the shelf for shoes.

Truly royal mansions!
Thailand › Bangkok › Grand Palace
The royal palace and the temple complex were built, even for King Rama 1, when the capital was moved to Bangkok. This is the former residence of the royal family. Entrance must be closed shoulders and knees, otherwise they will not be allowed.

Need to see.
Thailand › Bangkok › Temple of the Reclining Buddha Wat Pho
One of the oldest temple complexes. Viewing was part of our sightseeing tour of Bangkok. Entrance - only 100 baht, plus a bottle of cold water is given to the ticket. The gates are guarded by guardian statues with strange faces.

If you are in Bangkok...
Thailand › Bangkok › Observation deck on the 84th floor of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel
This is the main attraction and the most visited place by tourists. From the Eastin Hotel Makkasan 4, where we lived, we walked in 10 minutes. Until recently, Baiyoke Sky Hotel was the tallest building in Bangkok.

A beautiful island in the Andaman Sea.
Thailand › Phi Phi › Phi Phi Don Island
Phi Phi Don is a small, paradise, pedestrian, inhabited island. There are a lot of cafes, shops and several expensive hotels. I sympathize with vacationers here, because tourists sail and swim away in a day apparently-invisibly) We stopped for lunch and didn't stay long.

Story
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › English Fort
I wanted to hear an interesting historical story from the guide. But our guide Omar (a local resident) spoke Russian very poorly, and therefore we heard dry numbers, saw shabby walls and an ordinary market stall inside the fort.

Cute turtles.
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › turtle farm
From the village of Kendwa, walking along the beach, we reached Nungwi in about 40 minutes. Refusing, we found a turtle farm near the lighthouse with the help of a map. At the entrance, dirt is everywhere, a lot of locals, and a few tourists.

For the knowledge of plants
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › spice farm
Who said paid? Entrance is absolutely free, if you want without a guide, but with a guide (he speaks a little Russian) and a local guide, we went through the garden. We were unlucky with the weather, it was raining lightly, but the conductor gave us huge palm leaves instead of umbrellas and dragged ...

Waiting for a miracle...
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › Freddie Mercury's house
Having chosen an excursion to Stone Town, we dreamed of touching the history of a world-class star! we were expecting a miracle, and then...sadness, a narrow street, a bunch of annoying merchants, and an ordinary door with a photo of Freddie.

Prison Island, Turtle Island.
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › Prison Island
Realizing that you need to sail to the island by boat, for the sake of safety, we decided to buy an excursion from our guide. It was necessary to get into the boat from the sea, without a pier, it was very inconvenient, knee-deep in water - they got in!

A very modest park.
Tanzania › Zanzibar_city › Jozani Park
We drove from the village of Kendwa for more than an hour. Entrance $ 10, there were a lot of tourists, they stood in line. And were very disappointed, the park-forest is nothing special.

We fell in love, so we came back a year later)
Egypt › Marsa Alam › Braika Bay
Nothing has changed. All the same beach, soft sand, gentle sea. Dreaming about the Red Sea at home, I bought a TRIBORD EASYBREATH mask (not an advertisement, but I highly recommend it) the ease of use and the review are excellent.

Giant Eagle!)
Malaysia › Langkawi › Eagle Square
The area is not large, for walking. There are not very many tourists (or maybe we are so lucky) The eagle is huge, of course impressed! , around it are fountains in which local children bathe) There are shops, shops, or rather, shops with souvenirs, drinks and snacks.

Nice but abandoned
Malaysia › Langkawi › Langkawi Legends Park
The park is located very close to Eagle Square. We decided since we are close. why not take a walk! ) The park is very quiet, clean, all surrounded by greenery. separated by an incomprehensible rivulet or ditch (it doesn’t stink, and that’s good) in which we noticed a not very large monitor lizard.

Tourist entertainment complex, or "are you not afraid of heights?"
Malaysia › Langkawi › Langkawi Cable Car and Sky Bridge
As it turned out, without a guide, a taxi on the island is the most affordable (for the price) and convenient transport. So, 30 minutes drive from the Holiday Villa hotel, only 30 ringgit and we are there.

Mysteries of the underwater world and penguins!)
Malaysia › Langkawi › Aquarium Underwater World Langkawi
Entrance tickets are paid, 55 ringgit for an adult, children and Malays are cheaper. I love to watch our smaller brothers who live under water. The heat outside is unbearable, but inside the oceanarium it is cool, twilight and quiet.

In the evening they are beautiful.
Malaysia › Kuala Lumpur › petronas towers
Since we had little time in Kuala Lumpur, we immediately, according to the navigator from the Element by Westin hotel, despite our fatigue, ran to the Petronas Towers. There are a lot of construction sites everywhere, everything is fenced and spoils the picture a little, but there are passages.

"Miracle" in the metropolis
Malaysia › Kuala Lumpur › Batu Caves and Murugan Statue
Mostly tourists take 2-3 days in the capital. And mostly to see the curiosities of skyscrapers, and modern life. We are no exception. From the hotel Element Kuala Lumpur by Westin and all the benefits of civilization 30 minutes by taxi.
