Broken bridge over the Tiber
Italy › Rome › Ponte Rotto Bridge
The ruined bridge flaunts in the middle of the river next to the Palatino bridge. Ponte Rotto is the oldest bridge across the Tiber. In its place, there was originally a wooden bridge, which was sometimes destroyed during wars and attacks on Rome.

One of the oldest surviving temples
Italy › Rome › Temple of Hercules the Conqueror
We came to the temple of Hercules the Conqueror from the side of the Palatine Bridge. The temple is a small round building surrounded by marble columns. Probably, because of its small size, it has survived to this day.

The most beautiful basilica in Rome
Italy › Rome › Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura
St. Paul's Cathedral at first sight became my favorite temple in Rome. Whether it was because it was the first basilica on the list of visits, or its external and internal decoration fascinated me, it is not like any other .

Park for romantics
Italy › Rome › Savello Park
We wandered into Savello Park by accident, walked from the Colosseum to the Vatican, climbed the Aventine Hill and ended up in the park. I like this wonderful feature in Rome - wherever you go, you will always come to some sight, and along the way you can still see a lot of unusual and beautiful thi...

island in the form of a ship
Italy › Rome › Tiber Island
Tiber Island is the only island on the Tiber River along its entire length. Each part of Rome keeps some kind of legend, and sometimes even more than one. According to legend, the island of Tiberina grew up on the site of the death of the malicious Roman tyrant Tarquinius the Proud, who was so cruel...

Arch next to the Colosseum
Italy › Rome › Triumphal Arch of Constantine
The Arch of Constantine is nearby and blends beautifully with the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Stole. Immediately after our arrival and check-in, we went to the Colosseum and walked late into the vicinity.

Rome is a city that will impress even the most experienced traveler. What are its numerous squares worth, the variety of which simply twists. We got to Piazza Venezia by chance in the evening.

Once upon a time there were horse races
Italy › Rome › Big Circus
The Great Circus, or as the Italians used to call it, Circo Massimo, is an amazing attraction of the ancient Roman civilization that appeared before our era. Here, at the hippodrome, competitions were held 50 times a year for many centuries.

The most famous square in the world
Italy › Rome › St. Peter's Square
Probably any person who has visited Rome, must have visited St. Peter's Square. This place is "must see", "must visit" and all the other "must" put together. The day we arrived at the Square was not an ordinary day in the Vatican.

Stormy mountain river
Andorra › Andorra la Vella › Gran Valira River
We went to Andorra from Barcelona for a day to walk, as they say - "check in". Scheduled buses run directly from Barcelona Central Station to Andorra la Vella. We bought tickets right there and back, waited a bit for our bus, because while we were changing money, we missed the morning bus, and hit t...

Be sure to buy something!
San marino › San Marino › Shopping malls in San Marino
A huge number of souvenir, brand, perfume shops, as well as numerous cafe-restaurants have concentrated in a small state. The malls are also open at night. Local talented youth often gather around them, performing national songs and dances.

The landscapes are breathtaking!
San marino › San Marino › Observation deck
Since the country itself is located on a mountain, any stop along the narrow, winding road up can be considered a lookout. This is not surprising, because almost from the sidewalk along the creeping road, the views are one better than the other.

The main basilica of a tiny state
San marino › San Marino › Basilica of San Marino
A beautiful, bright basilica attracts the attention of everyone who happens to be near Piazzale Plebis Domus. They say that in the 19th century, many residents of San Marino were not happy that the old temple was destroyed in order to build a new one, although it was no longer subject to restoratio...

Government House of San Marino
San marino › San Marino › Palazzo Publico
The architecture of the building of the Palazzo Publico is very beautiful - in the neo-Gothic style. One might think that we are talking about a museum, but this is the residence of the city hall and everyone can appreciate both the political and historical sights from the inside.

Palace where the Prince of Monaco lives
Monaco › Monaco › Prince's Palace of Monaco
There is only one Prince's Palace in Monaco, despite the wealth and luxury of the country itself. This is rather because for more than seven hundred years the principality has been ruled by one dynasty - the Grimaldi, which has only strengthened its castle since the 13th century.

To feel all the admiration of the sight of this majestic installation, you need to see it with your own eyes. The cylindrical waterfall, together with the figures of men who, in flight, seem to be going to dive for beautiful pearls, will not leave indifferent any visitor to the Dubai Mall.

Central square of Milan
Italy › Milan › Piazza del Duomo
We arrived in Milan for the weekend of Catholic Easter. The city, which in the photographs is always full of people, turned out to be empty for the whole weekend. Only in Piazza Del Duomo, the central square of Milan, one could meet a small number of tourists and, of course, a huge number of pigeons.

Our group was brought to the Yad Vashem memorial in the morning. There was a little rain, which is not very typical for the end of March. The entrance to the territory begins with passing through the check of bags, then we pass through the turnstile, safety is first of all.
